Trump tells 'everyone' to 'immediately evacuate Tehran'
US President Donald Trump has urged residents of Tehran to leave after Israel hit the Iranian capital earlier on Monday with a barrage of heavy missile attacks at multiple locations.
"Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!" Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.
Tehran has a population of nearly 10 million people.
"Iran should have signed the "deal" I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again!" Trump posted.
The United States and Iran were in the middle of negotiations over Iran's nuclear program when Israel launched its attack on Friday.
Iran said it couldn't go ahead with a meeting scheduled for Sunday while it was being attacked by Israel.
Trump is leaving the G7 summit in Canada early, his press secretary said, "because of what is going on in the Middle East."
Chinese embassy in Israel urges citizens to leave
China's embassy in Israel has urged Chinese citizens to return home or leave the country via land border crossings as soon as possible.
"At present, the Israeli-Iranian conflict continues to escalate, with civilian facilities damaged and civilian casualties increasing, making the security situation even more severe," the embassy warned in a Tuesday notice on WeChat.
The notice recommended Chinese citizens to leave via the land crossing towards Jordan.
Israel has closed its main international Ben Gurion Airport "until further notice."

G7 summit: Trump calls removing Russia from group 'mistake'
Alberta: US President Donald Trump has once again complained about the G7's throwing Russia out of what was once the G8 following its 2014 annexation of Crimea from Ukraine. "The G7 used to be the G8. Barack Obama and a person named Trudeau didn't want to have Russia in," Trump said, referring to former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. "And I would say that was a mistake, because I think you wouldn't have a war right now if you had Russia in, and you wouldn't have a war right now if Trump were president four years ago." The US leader also said he "wouldn't mind" China's joining the G7. US-UK trade deal finalised, Trump and Starmer say A trade deal reached between the US and the UK last month has been finalised, both US President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Monday on the sidelines of the G7 summit. "It's a fair deal for both. It'll produce a lot of jobs, a lot of income." Starmer said the deal would implement agreements reached on auto tariffs and aerospace, without giving any details. "A really important agreement. And so this is a very good day for both of our countries, a real sign of strength," Starmer said. UNRWA: Israel preventing fuel entry into Gaza threatens humanitarian operations
New York: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that Israel has been preventing the entry of fuel into the Gaza Strip for more than 100 days, threatening a complete halt to humanitarian operations. UNRWA on Tuesday said in a post on X that the health, water, food, and communications sectors are at risk due to the Israeli occupation's blockade of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The Gaza Strip has been suffering a humanitarian catastrophe since Israel closed the crossings on 2 March 2025, preventing the entry of all supplies, including food, medicine, aid, and fuel, while its army escalates its genocide against Palestinians. UNRWA stressed that humanitarian operations cannot be conducted without fuel, adding: "Without fuel, lives will be lost."
