Taking place until 23 March at Zabeel Park, Ramadan at the Park promises an outdoor experience for the entire family. With food, culture and community, all under the starry sky, this event has something for everyone.
Ramadan at the Park will offer curated iftar and suhoor experiences. With foodie-favourites such as Mattar Farm, Vietnamese Foodies, Switch, Karakna Geer, Freat, Feras Sweets and many more, you're in for a delightful meal. They'll be serving classic Ramadan treats along with a cup of karak or Arabic coffee, ensuring you have a great time.
Beyond the bites, the marketplace at Ramadan at the Park has plenty to offer as well. Traditional attire, jewellery from local homegrown brands and much more will be on-site. You can get yourself some special Ramadan pieces or get cracking on that Eid shopping.
Immerse yourself in Emirati culture with falconry, calligraphy stations, henna artistry and much more. Storytelling will also be on the agenda, along with Hakawati performances, while kids can enjoy a dedicated Kids' Corner with carnival games, bouncy castles, and much more. Plus, with a line-up of entertainment options, such as oud and cultural performances, you can truly soak in the atmosphere.

They assert the leadership role it plays in advancing authorship, translation, and critical studies, underlining its contributions towards promoting cultural dialogue, in line with the UAE's vision and mission to support human development.'Nomination conditions for the Sheikh Zayed Book Award stipulate that each candidate may nominate one work to one category, and the work must not have been nominated for any other prize in the same year, either directly or through a representative. Submitted works should also carry a valid International Standard Book Number (ISBN) to ensure the author's intellectual property rights are award will not be granted to any work that has previously won a major Arab or international prize, however, resubmission is allowed, provided the stipulated time gap has been met and new copies of the work are also allow authors to self-nominate or be nominated by publishers who may apply only for works they have issued, on the condition that the publisher receives written consent from the author. Nominated books need to have been published within the last two years at most, and should not have won any major international submitted works should be written in Arabic, except those submitted under the Editing of Arabic Manuscripts category, which can be in other languages, as well as the Translation category (whether translated into or from Arabic) and the Arab Culture in Other Languages category, where works published in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Russian are the Cultural Personality of the Year award, candidates must be nominated by academic, research, or cultural institutions; literary bodies and universities; or by three prominent intellectual and/or cultural figures. CMA, NG9 Holding sign Dh55m partnership to enhance local film and TV production in Abu Dhabi
11 June 2025 10:15 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)The Abu Dhabi Creative Media Authority (CMA) has signed an agreement with NG9 Group, a dynamic consortium comprising Nirvana Holding, Gewan Holding, and 9Yards Group, for a multi-sector strategic collaboration. The partnership will initially deliver two feature films and a 10-episode TV series, with a total value of Dh55 million ($15 million), set for global photography is slated to begin in September, employing local crews and integrating Emirati talent both on-screen and behind the scenes, aligning with the Abu Dhabi Film Commission's enhanced rebate program designed to showcase Emirati culture and part of the collaboration, CMA will provide valuable services such as location support, talent development initiatives, talent casting and the ADFC cashback rebate.
