Madonna's Son, 24, Debuts Major Hair Transformation in Rare Appearance
Madonna's 24-year-old son, Rocco Ritchie, sported a new 'do in a rare appearance.
The artist showed off his cropped bright blond hair while posing for the "Orizzonti | Rosso" Exhibition Opening Dinner in Rome, Italy, on May 24. Rocco, whose father is director Guy Ritchie, opted to wear a white button-down shirt underneath a black suit. He gave his look a more casual vibe by leaving the top buttons of his shirt open and sporting some stubble. He accessorized with a few silver bracelets and rings.
The Daily Mail reported that Rocco opened up about being born into a famous family in an April 2025 interview with Fantastic Man magazine. Rocco, whose parents divorced in 2008 after eight years of marriage, said he was not sure if he would consider himself a "nepo baby." He explained that he has not followed his parents' footsteps as either a singer or a director. Instead, he has focused on visual arts. The Daily Mail reported that Rocco went by the pseudonym Rhed when he first launched his career as an artist.
In addition, while speaking to Fantastic Man magazine, Rocco said he believes many individuals who are born into famous families are boring.
"I always think it's funny that back in the day, some of the most beautiful cathedrals that were ever built would be built by generation after generation of the same family," said Rocco during the April 2025 interview. "And now, if you are born from a family - and I'm not saying this is wrong - you start looking at nepo babies and they are not the most interesting bunch, are they?"
Rocco also told the publication that he did not enjoy spending time with the privileged class in London. Instead, he said the "best years of [his] life" were spent at London's South Bank, specifically among skateboarders.
"I mean, how much fun are upper-class people? Not that much fun," said Rocco to Fantastic Man magazine.

Goth Icon, 67, Cancels Comeback Tour Over ‘Health Issues'
Goth Icon, 67, Cancels Comeback Tour Over 'Health Issues' originally appeared on Parade. As the lead singer of post-punk band Bauhaus, Peter Murphy became a goth legend in the late 1970s and early 1980s with now-iconic songs such as "Bela Lugosi's Dead," "Kick In The Eye," and "She's In Parties." The band, which also included Daniel Ash, David J and Kevin Haskins, helped lay the foundation for goth music with their distinctive image and haunting sound (aided by Murphy's distinctive baritone voice. After Bauhaus disbanded, Muphy embarked on a solo career, while the other members formed Tones on Tail and Love and Rockets. Murphy achieved commercial success in 1990 with "Cuts You Up," which peaked at No. 60 on the Billboard Hot 100. He has continued to perform and tour, even with Bauhaus from time to time—including a short-run reunion in 2022. However, Murphy has struggled with health issues in the past. And he was planning to tour this summer in support of his new solo album, Silver Shade. But on Monday (June 2), he announced he was canceling all dates. "It is with regret that, due to recent health issues, I will be unable to perform for you this summer," Murphy wrote on social media. "I am very much saddened by this news. This situation is hopefully temporary, and we will be able to announce shows in support of Silver Shade at some point in the near future." "Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Love Peter x," he added. In 2019, Murphy was in the middle of a two-week residency in New York City when he suffered a heart attack. He underwent angioplasty and had two stents implanted in his heart. "After seeing myself go through the rigors of intensive care, I am very happy to say that I have made a full recovery," he said after the surgery. The goth icon has also dealt with substance abuse issues. Bauhaus's 2022 reunion was cut short when Murphy entered a rehabilitation facility "to attend to his health and well-being," per Stereogum. In 2013, Murphy was arrested in Los Angeles for a DUI, hit-and-run, and possession of crystal meth. The Glendale News-Press reported that he was sentenced to three years of probation and to attend 45 days of Narcotics Anonymous Icon, 67, Cancels Comeback Tour Over 'Health Issues' first appeared on Parade on Jun 2, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jun 2, 2025, where it first appeared.

Goth Icon Shares New ‘Dramatic' Version of Hit Song
Goth Icon Shares New 'Dramatic' Version of Hit Song originally appeared on Parade. Few are more synonymous with goth—be it music, fashion, or lifestyle—than Robert Smith of The Cure. Since forming in the '70s, The Cure has pioneered the dark, brooding, romantic rock sound that defined goth music. The band released now-classic albums like Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me and Disintegration, while becoming part of the 1980s and '90s music tapestry with songs like "A Forest," "Just Like Heaven," "Close To Me," "Boys Don't Cry," and "Friday I'm In Love." In 2024, The Cure pulled off the impossible: release a new album that's as good as one of its classics. Songs of a Lost World received widespread critical acclaim and was on many publications' "Best of 2024" year-end lists. Now, fans can revisit the album with the upcoming remix album, "Mixes of a Lost World." The collection, arriving on June 13, features remixed versions of Songs of a Lost World courtesy of electronic artists such asFour Tet, Orbital, Trentemøller, Paul Oakenfold, and more. Deftones frontman Chino Moreno (who dabbles in goth/dark electronica with this Crosses project) will also have a remix on the album. Electronic duo Daybreakers have transformed "Warsong" from a 4:17 track to a six-minute synth and bass extravaganza. This new version "has a real sense of drama," Smith told Billboard. "The breakdowns are simple, but far-out, and the vibe is cool, but urgent. It is one of my favorites on the [remix] album." Smith also told Billboard that The Cure has "a colorful history with all kinds of dance music, and I was curious as to how the whole album would sound entirely reinterpreted by others." "To be chosen to do a remix is a great honor," Daybreakers told the publication. "Being included on the remix album alongside such a great variety of talented artists and producers is a huge privilege." "Additionally," they add, "with all of The Cure's recording royalties being donated to the WarChild UK charity, it really is for a wonderful cause."Goth Icon Shares New 'Dramatic' Version of Hit Song first appeared on Parade on Jun 11, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jun 11, 2025, where it first appeared.

Is Prince Harry's Latest Gesture the Ultimate Princess Diana Tribute?
Is Prince Harry's Latest Gesture the Ultimate Princess Diana Tribute? originally appeared on Parade. Prince Harry recreated an iconic moment from his childhood with his mom, Princess Diana, during a recent trip to Disneyland with his wife Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. A video posted to Markle's Instagram page showed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they enjoyed all the rides and attractions with their children. The couple reportedly spent two days vacationing at the park. However, some eagle-eyed fans couldn't help but compare the videos and clips to a moment in time when the late Diana took Harry and his brother, Prince William, to another Disney park. In August 1993, Princess Diana vacationed with her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The trip happened shortly after Diana's separation from Prince Charles. The family enjoyed the log flume ride and other park favorites. Photos captured the princess and her sons as they rode the attraction, which splashes guests into a pool of water. It is unclear whether or not this was the first time the ex-royal family member had ridden the log flume since going on it with his late mother. Per PEOPLE Magazine, in 1993, Diana and her sons were allowed to have their moment on the water ride alone, as it was closed off to other parkgoers. It is unclear if Harry was given the same high-profile treatment during a visit with his family. Other pictures from Meghan's Instagram featured a Little Mermaid-themed cake for her daughter, the family having fun on numerous rides, and the couple going on Space Mountain, among other Disney activities. The Duchess of Sussex wrote, "Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!" She utilized Peggy Lee's 'It's a Good Day' as a background song choice.
