Zain renews strategic partnership with Rafa Nadal Academy
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: Zain has renewed its strategic partnership with Rafa Nadal Academy Kuwait for the third time, in collaboration with Tamdeen Sports, a subsidiary of Tamdeen Group. The Academy, the first of its kind in the Middle East, marks the global tennis champion Rafael Nadal's first academy outside Spain.
The partnership agreement was signed at the Academy's headquarters, located in the Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber International Tennis Complex, in the presence of Zain Kuwait CEO Nawaf Al-Gharabally and Tamdeen Sports CEO Mohammad Mustafa Al-Marzouq, alongside executives from both companies.
Zain has proudly supported this renowned international academy as a strategic partner since its inception in 2020. This aligns with the company's comprehensive corporate sustainability strategy, which aims to reflect the role of Kuwait's private sector in fostering sports and actively contributing to developing a new generation of professional Kuwaiti athletes across various sports disciplines, enabling them to represent their nation at prominent local, regional, and international arenas.

PARIS: An inspired Lois Boisson delighted Roland Garros as the French world number 361 downed Mirra Andreeva on Wednesday to set up a French Open semi-final against Coco Gauff, before Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic both chase men's last-four berths. Boisson, making her debut at a Grand Slam event, powered her way to a thrilling 7-6 (8/6), 6-3 victory on a raucous Court Philippe Chatrier to become the first Frenchwoman to reach the semis since Marion Bartoli in 2011.
