THIS is the shocking moment an uninsured learner driver runs away after killing a woman in a horror head-on crash.
Dashcam footage shows Khizer Ali smashing his mum's VW Gold into a Vauxhall Meriva, carrying elderly couple Valerie and David Ayres.

Ali is seen speeding at 59mph in a 40mph zone moments before the fatal crash on the A441 in Redditch, Worcester on April 23 last year.
Mrs Ayres, 65, was killed instantly while her husband suffered horrific life-changing injuries.
Ali admitted a string of offences, including causing death by dangerous driving, at Worcester Crown Court.
On Friday, he was jailed for 11 years and three months and banned from driving for 12-and-a-half years.

The court heard Ali, who only held a provisional licence, had been driving his sister's car but swapped with her to get into their mother's Golf.
The car was a Motability scheme vehicle that only his mother and sister were insured on.
Dashcam footage from the Golf captured the moment sister Sanaa Shahzad showed him how to operate the automatic car.
She let him use it while she attended an eyelash appointment after they had swapped cars at a car wash on Hewell Road in Redditch.
During his reckless journey Ali left the car wash where he was clocked on the Golf's dashcam doing 62mph in a 30mph.
He also had a near miss with a car coming the opposite direction under a railway bridge.

Seconds later, Ali went twice around a roundabout going too fast -ignoring the designated lanes - before hurtling onto the Alvechurch Highway at full throttle.
He finally lost control and careered onto the wrong side of the road where he smashed head-on with Valerie and David's Vauxhall.
Footage shows him running away from the scene before being arrested at his home a short time later.
Ali's sister Sanaa Shahzad, 20, admitted two counts of causing or permitting the use of a vehicle without valid insurance or a licence.
She will be sentenced next month.
Detective Constable Rose Hughes, of West Mercia Police, said: "He [Ali] showed a total disregard for the safety of the public when took the car off his sister that day, driving recklessly and dangerously which is exacerbated by the fact he should never have been behind the wheel of this car as he did not hold a full driving licence.
"We hope this sentence and the tragic outcome will teach a sobering lesson about the reason for speed limits and driving regulations to anyone thinking about ever getting behind the wheel without having passed their test or driving in such a thoughtless and selfish manner putting so many people at risk as he did.
"Ali should never be driving again. Offenders like him have no place on our roads.
"His sister Shahzad quite rightly bears some of the responsibility for the outcome of this tragedy too. She should never have leant him the car, especially as she knew he was a learner driver with no insurance."
Following the sentencing, Mrs Ayres' devastated family paid tribute to her.
Her husband David said: "Val was the life and soul of the party; we did everything together.
"Val was so bubbly and funny, 'nuts' we used to call her, she was always doing stupid things to make people laugh and had a good time wherever we went.
"My life has been turned upside down, I can't express how much I miss Val and wish the whole thing never happened.
"Val was an amazing woman, the best there was.
"Val stuck by me through thick and thin, and I will love with all my heart for that and more until the day I die."
The couple's daughter Lucy added: "My mom was my best friend we always spent time together, people used to remark I have never seen a mother and daughter so close.
"I cannot put into words what this man has taken away not only me, but the rest of the family.
"Every day, I wish I could pick up the phone to hear her voice, share my thoughts and for her to tell me everything is going to be ok."

West had subjected Louise to months of violent attacks including strangling, punching and kicking. She finally kicked him out of her house in Crawley, Sussex, but the 61-year-old returned and smashed her doorbell camera using a rock. Louise, 53, called the police and West spent a night in the cells before being released without charge the following day. But later that day he returned to the property and started a fire in the porch which quickly engulfed the house. Louise - who was taking a nap at the time - was woken by neighbours and scrambled to escape as her bedroom was filled with thick black smoke. But her beloved British Bulldog Peggy was frozen in terror under the bed - and Louise was forced to abandon her in order to save her own life. West has now been jailed for six years after pleading guilty to arson and a string of assaults on Louise. She is now campaigning for a change in the law to consider companion animals as sentient beings rather than property as they are currently seen. Reliving the arrest, Louise says: 'The police came out and arrested him. West, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty at Lewes Crown Court to arson with intent, criminal damage, non-fatal strangulation, common assault and two counts of actual bodily harm on May 2. He was sentenced to six years and three months in jail. Louise is upset that Peggy's death was not considered in the sentencing. She wants offenders to be punished for killing companion animals like dogs and cats. She adds: 'Peggy's life was given as much value as a bookcase. 'She was my absolute world. 'What I used to go through with him, she was the one constant that was there by my side; my best friend.' A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "West was arrested on 13 September 2024 on suspicion of criminal damage and spent the night in custody. 'He was released without charge as the victim did not wish to sign a statement at the time." The Ministry of Justice says it has no plans to change the law. Damaged Kidderminster door leads police to find cannabis haul
Hundreds of cannabis plants have been found at a property in Kidderminster and will be destroyed, police have went to a property in Lower Mill Street on Thursday night after reports of damage, and found a door had been smashed and there were lights on in the building, the force found about 200 cannabis plants and a further 100 that were being cultivated. The National Grid was called to make the property safe.A spokesman for the West Mercia force said no-one was inside the building and no-one was arrested, but an investigation was ongoing. Soldier who raped stranger in 'harrowing' street attack jailed for nine years

Private John Harvey, 25, initially gave police a full confession after accosting and attacking the young woman as she walked through Shrewsbury town centre. But he then forced her to 'relive the worst moment of my life' by pleading not guilty and making her give evidence at his nine-day trial. In a victim impact statement read at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court, the woman, who cannot be identified, said her 20-minute ordeal had left her with post-traumatic disorder. She said: 'My home has become the only place I feel calm. The offender has convinced me terrible people who can do terrible things are everywhere. 'I was forced to endure rape. The offender also forced me to fight my corner in a trial. I was forced by him to relive the worst moment of my life repeatedly. 'This event from the beginning to the end is the worst and hardest thing I have ever had to endure.' Harvey, of Clive Barracks in Tern Hill, near Market Drayton, Shropshire, was found guilty of two counts of rape and one of assault by penetration. Judge Richard McConaghy told him the offence was aggravated by the fact he was drunk and the 'vulnerable' woman was walking alone at night. He told Harvey: 'She walked away and rang 999, audio of that call in the state that she was in is harrowing to listen to.' The court heard Harvey, who had missed his last train, went back towards the woman after the sexual assaults, but was 'put off' as she was on the phone to police, and went instead to Shrewsbury railway station. Video released by West Mercia Police after Harvey was jailed showed him being arrested by officers at the station at 6.32am in July last year. The video clip shows officers ordering Harvey to open the cubicle and then handcuffing him before he provided his name. Harvey, who was also ordered to serve an extended three-year period on licence after his eventual release, was said by the judge to be an 'educated man with a degree' and to have had a 'respectable career' at the time of the attack. The judge told Harvey, who is now working as a prison cleaner and training as a mentor: 'You co-operated on arrest and made full admissions to having raped her. 'You however chose to throw that mitigation away by contesting the trial in the face of very strong evidence and made her give evidence despite your own confession of what you had done.' After the sentencing, Detective Constable Sam Jones said Harvey 'is a danger to the wider public, in particular, women'. More Trending The officer added: 'In July last year Harvey committed a purely evil crime, and despite admitting to the offences during a police interview when he was arrested, he then changed his story at court, subjecting his victim and her loved ones to sit through a trial and relive that awful night.' No details of Harvey's military service or his employment by the Army were disclosed at his sentencing hearing. Clive Barracks is the long-term home of the 1st Battalion of the Royal Irish Regiment. In a statement which did not confirm details of Harvey's unit, an Army spokesperson said: 'We can confirm that Private John Harvey appeared for sentencing at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on June 5, 2025, convicted of a sexual offence.
