VANA PURE Announces Global Initiative to Support Children from Underserved Communities
Denver, Colorado--(Newsfile Corp. - June 4, 2025) - VANA PURE, the fast-growing online platform specializing in home and personal cleaning products, today announced a groundbreaking global initiative to support children born into low-income families. This program, set to be officially unveiled through international media outlets in June 2025, represents the company's long-term commitment to creating cleaner, safer environments for children worldwide.
VANA PURE
The initiative is built on three core pillars:
Remote Employment Opportunities for Mothers:Recognizing that economic hardship often begins at home, VANA PURE will offer remote work opportunities to qualifying guardians, with a particular focus on mothers. This initiative is designed to empower women while ensuring a stable home environment for their children.
Free Access to Essential Cleaning Products:VANA PURE will supply select low-income families with essential, high-quality cleaning products at no cost. These include FDA-approved child-safe cleaners, hypoallergenic floor-cleaning systems designed to reduce asthma and allergy triggers, household disinfectants, and pet-safe cleaning supplies. These tools aim to help families create healthier living spaces and prevent chronic health issues stemming from poor sanitation.
Long-term Corporate-Community Partnerships:The company will collaborate with top-tier suppliers in China to provide targeted aid packages to disadvantaged families for a period of 1 to 3 years. These aid packages will include both products and financial subsidies designed to promote long-term household well-being.
"We believe that clean environments are not a luxury, but a right for every child," said Isaiah Li, a spokesperson for VANA PURE. "Through direct action, community empowerment, and strategic partnerships, we aim to make a lasting difference."
Families facing hardship are encouraged to reach out to VANA PURE through the company's official website, www.vanapure.com, to apply for support or learn more about the program.

How much money will the FDA get next year?
Presented by Driving The Day FDA APPROPS INCHES FORWARD — House appropriators advanced a bill to fund the FDA for fiscal 2026 on a party-line vote out of a subcommittee Thursday — but the bill has a long path ahead before it potentially becomes law. The topline number from the House bill aligns with President Donald Trump's budget proposal, which sought $6.8 billion for the FDA. That includes $3.2 billion in direct appropriations, with the remainder coming from user fee revenue. But that represents roughly a $300 million cut in taxpayer funding compared to what the House Appropriations subcommittee sought last year for fiscal 2025 — a fact Democrats seized on during the hearing. 'We need to embrace transparency, and the FDA should be able to effectively and quickly share information,' said Rep. Sanford Bishop (D-Ga.), ranking member of the subcommittee, which is in charge of approving funds for the FDA. 'It needs the resources to do this.' But Rep. Andy Harris(R-Md.), subcommittee chair, said the figure represents 'modest constraint' that will still allow Americans access to a safe food and drug supply. But the Senate is likely to fund the agency at a higher level than the House. The Republican senator in charge of FDA appropriations, Sen. John Hoeven (R-N.D.), told Prescription Pulse on Wednesday that Trump's proposal is a starting point. 'We now have the president's budget proposal,' Hoeven said. 'But we're going through our process now, and it will be different. … I think that you'll see when we bring it out that we adequately fund FDA.' IT'S FRIDAY. WELCOME BACK TO PRESCRIPTION PULSE. We can't help but notice the FDA's advice for the 'fellas' cautioning about over-the-counter sexual enhancement supplements. Find out more. Eye on the FDA CELLS IN THE SPOTLIGHT — The FDA's top biologics regulator said Thursday he's willing to consider surrogate endpoints — markers believed to correlate with clinical benefit in a drug — as part of the agency's approach to approving rare-disease therapies by using 'gold-standard science and common sense.' 'We will rapidly make available therapies at the first sign or promise of biomedical success or action, but we're also going to follow up overall survival and quality of life on the back end,' Dr. Vinay Prasad, director of the FDA's Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, said during an agency roundtable on cell and gene therapies. Prasad added he's often asked whether he's 'solely' interested in randomized controlled trials and said he's open to a variety of methodologies demonstrating a drug's benefit. Background: His remarks come weeks after he and Commissioner Marty Makary unveiled a new Covid-19 vaccine framework that limits approvals of future formulation changes to people 65 and older and younger individuals with an underlying condition — and requiring new RCTs to prove the shots are safe and effective for young, healthy people. Cell and gene therapies are often discussed in the context of rare diseases, as the technologies can address root causes instead of solely managing symptoms. But a condition's rarity hinders a company's ability to conduct a large-scale trial for a drug candidate, an issue with which regulators and industry have long struggled. The FDA launched a rare-disease 'hub' last year to better align its drug and biologics regulators in their approach to considering those therapies for the market. In Congress O'NEILL CONFIRMED — The Senate voted to confirm Jim O'Neill to be HHS deputy secretary by a 52-43 vote Thursday — elevating an ally of early Trump backer and tech billionaire Peter Thiel, who previously worked as HHS principal associate deputy secretary during the George W. Bush administration. O'Neill advocated in 2014 for the FDA to approve drugs once they're verified as safe, instead of also requiring effectiveness data — and was considered as an FDA commissioner candidate during President Donald Trump's first term. REPUBLICANS PLAN SUPPLY-CHAIN HEARING — Top Republican health lawmakers on the House Energy and Commerce Committee want to reduce America's reliance on other countries for medicines and other health care products — and plan to hold a hearing Wednesday on how to incentivize a stronger supply chain. 'We have long been champions of policies that support efforts to onshore U.S.-based manufacturing and bolster our domestic supply chain, while, at the same time, strengthening our national security interests and economic goals,' E&C Chair Brett Guthrie (R-Ky.) and Health Subcommittee Chair Buddy Carter (R-Ga.) said in a news release. Over in the Judiciary Committee, lawmakers are scheduled to examine the 'privacy and national security implications' of the 23andMe bankruptcy Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. A BIPARTISAN PUSH? Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle indicated Wednesday that reauthorizing the FDA's over-the-counter user fee program could be a bipartisan effort — and the agency's over-the-counter sunscreen regulation has yielded bipartisan frustration. Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, and other lawmakers questioned the FDA's top drug regulator why more drugs are not being moved to OTC status more rapidly — and Democrats questioned if job cuts at the FDA could impact new approvals. Document Drawer The FDA granted Florida a second extension for its drug importation program, extending the state's authorization to Nov. 6. But before drug imports can start, importers must file a pre-import request, which the FDA must grant, making it unclear whether the program will be used. The top FDA medical device regulator, Dr. Michelle Tarver, met with Johnson and Johnson last week to discuss 'general medical device updates,' according to a public calendar disclosure. Also last week, the FDA deputy commissioner for strategic initiatives, Lowell Zeta, met with Eli Lilly to discuss 'pharmaceutical updates.' The Government Accountability Office convened a roundtable of 19 experts to discuss how HHS can improve testing efforts during a public health emergency and released a report containing their nearly 100 recommendations. WHAT WE'RE READING STAT's Elaine Chen explores how Novo Nordisk's recent challenges competing with Eli Lilly relate to a cautious culture at the Danish drugmaker.

IGS 2025: St. Kitts and Nevis Sets the Global Standard for Sustainable Investment and Innovation
Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis--(Newsfile Corp. - June 6, 2025) - The second edition of the St. Kitts and Nevis Investment Gateway Summit (IGS) concluded on a high note, bringing together regional leaders, economic citizens, global stakeholders, and potential investors in a powerful demonstration of the country's commitment to transparency, innovation, and sustainable development. St. Kitts and Nevis Investment Gateway Summit (IGS) To view an enhanced version of this graphic, please visit: With the theme "Investment to Impact: Our Journey to a Sustainable Island State," IGS 2025 underscored Prime Minister Terrance Drew's vision of building a sustainable and digital economy. Organisers pointed out that the Summit was "perfectly timed and positioned for global investors," offering "unmatched access to exclusive, future-ready opportunities" in a nation determined to become the world's first sustainable island state. To support deal-making, the Summit introduced an Investor Nexus Zone, a dedicated space where vetted service providers, developers and investors could meet face-to-face. In the Nexus Zone, participants could connect with real estate firms, financial advisers, business-formation experts and other professional service providers, effectively bringing "the entire investment ecosystem under one roof." Prime Minister Drew set a forward-looking tone in his opening remarks. He highlighted St. Kitts and Nevis' pioneering role in establishing the Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programme and said the country remains at the global forefront, continuously "redefining standards of integrity, transparency and innovation" in that industry. Welcome remarks from St. Kitts and Nevis' Prime Minister, The Honourable Dr. Terrance DrewTo view an enhanced version of this graphic, please visit: He stressed that investors should be partners in nation-building, not just clients. "We are not here today to speak only about transactions; we are here to speak about partnerships." Regional Leadership and Strengthening Oversight During the summit, Timothy N. J. Antoine, Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), highlighted the collective resolve of regional governments to ensure the long-term sustainability of CBI programmes. He emphasised that member states are united in their commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and accountability. A significant development in this regard is the establishment of a regional regulator for CBI/CIP programmes. This regional body is expected to enhance transparency, reinforce accountability measures, and uphold the integrity of investment migration in the Caribbean. Enhancing Border Security with eTA System As part of its digital transformation agenda, St. Kitts and Nevis has launched an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) system designed exclusively for foreign travellers. This new system streamlines pre-arrival screening and reinforces national security protocols. Speaking at the Summit, Alan Renaud, Business Development and Project Lead at Travizory Border Security SA, the firm that helped in building the eTA system, noted that it not only enhances border security but also improves traveller experience through automation and real-time authorisation. This initiative represents a key milestone in modernising border control and further aligning the nation's travel infrastructure with international best practices. Driving Infrastructure Growth Through CBI The IGS also looked at how the CBI Programme in St. Kitts and Nevis has played a pivotal role in funding significant infrastructure and tourism development projects. Delegates had the opportunity to conduct a tour of the following properties and were impressed with the quality of the construction. Park Hyatt in St. Kitts Belmont Gardens in Nevis Four Seasons Resort Nevis Royal St. Kitts Hotel in St. Kitts Koi Resort in St. Kitts Stakeholders discussed that these developments not only boost the nation's tourism offerings but also create local employment and strengthen the wider economy. Raising the Bar on Due Diligence and International Cooperation Furthermore, IGS discussed the landmark decisions by the St. Kitts and Nevis Government to uphold the CBI Programmes' international reputation. Just last year, St. Kitts and Nevis introduced the Continuing International Due Diligence (CIDD) Unit. This specialised body monitors CBI citizens abroad and works with international agencies on matters related to anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CFT), and law enforcement cooperation. The CIDD Unit exemplifies the country's proactive approach to risk management and long-term credibility. Success Stories from Economic Citizens The impact of the CBI Programme goes beyond financial investment; it fosters real human stories. James Taylor, an economic citizen, has become a strong advocate for the twin-island nation. He was also on one of the panel discussions at the IGS along with Mr Richard Skerrit, Dr Sirous Motevassel, H.E. Dr Christine Walwyn and SKIPA's Stanley Jacob. Taylor said that while he has lived in many countries and cities before and finally settled on St. Kitts and reiterated how friendly and welcoming the local citizens are. He also noted that the country has an excellent business environment with a skilled and intelligent workforce on the island. Another notable economic citizen from Switzerland, Prof. Dr. Oliver Ullrich, a distinguished space scientist, was the key-note speaker at the gala dinner and further highlighted the Programme's global appeal among high-achieving individuals who align with the values of St. Kitts and Nevis. Digital Transformation with the Saturn Platform The IGS focused on the recent digital advancements to the digitisation process. The Government has launched "Saturn" an innovative digital platform leveraging artificial intelligence to manage the entire CBI application process. The system provides real-time tracking for applicants, agents, and stakeholders, and consolidates all communication and query management into one centralised interface. Saturn ensures a streamlined, secure, and transparent user experience, aligning with modern global service standards. Adherence to AML/CFT Standards The Summit also highlighted the country's efforts to meet global anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism benchmarks set by international watchdog Financial Action Task Force (FATF). Executive Chairman of CIU H.E. Calvin St. Juste reaffirmed St. Kitts and Nevis' commitment to transparency, due diligence, and responsible programme management. Executive Chairman of the CIU H.E. Calvin St. Juste attended and spoke at the second annual Investment Gateway Summit To view an enhanced version of this graphic, please visit: Investing in a Sustainable and Diversified Future St. Kitts and Nevis continues to advance its strategic investments in agriculture, renewable energy, and digital services. The establishment of the Investment Nexus Zone reflects a forward-thinking approach, with a focus on "Investment to Impact". These initiatives align with international goals for good governance and sustainable development, reinforcing the nation's position as a responsible and future-ready investment destination. Notably, the Investment Gateway Summit, an annual event, is the opportunity for St. Kitts and Nevis to showcase to the world all that it has to offer, from its natural beauty and rich culture to its progressive investment opportunities and commitment to sustainability. More than just an international event, the Summit represents a meaningful invitation: a call for economic citizens to come home, experience the essence of the nation, and build a lasting connection with their second country. It is a powerful reminder that St. Kitts and Nevis is not only a place to invest in but a place that calls their economic citizens home to connect, collaborate and celebrate.
