STC Bank partners with Arthur Lawrence for operational outsourcing, job description development services
STC Bank has announced on Monday, on the sidelines of the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum 2025, an agreement with Arthur Lawrence to deliver operational outsourcing and job description development services to the bank.
As part of the agreement, STC Bank will now be supported by Arthur Lawrence in developing and aligning job descriptions for roles across the company to ensure alignment with STC Bank's vision. Arthur Lawrence will also be responsible for delivering required outsourced human resources to the bank. By leveraging its proven methodologies and sector expertise, Arthur Lawrence will help ensure that every role at STC Bank is aligned with the bank's evolving business goals, enhancing operational clarity and enabling smarter workforce planning across all departments.

Port of NEOM receives Saudi Arabia's first automated cranes ahead of 2026 launch
NEOM — Port of NEOM has taken a major step toward becoming one of the world's most advanced and sustainable trade hubs with the arrival of Saudi Arabia's first fully automated, remote-controlled cranes. The milestone supports NEOM's plan to open Terminal 1 by 2026 and reinforces the port's strategic role on the Red Sea's East–West global trade route. The Ship-To-Shore (STS) and Electric Rubber-Tyred Gantry (eRTG) cranes are now operational at Port of NEOM. These next-generation machines will boost port automation, enabling high-volume container operations managed from secure remote stations, marking a shift toward a future-ready logistics workforce. Sean Kelly, Managing Director of Port of NEOM, described the achievement as a 'tangible milestone' for the region's industrial and trade ecosystem. 'We're not only accelerating industrial growth in northwest Saudi Arabia, but we're also setting a new benchmark for performance, efficiency, and innovation,' he said. The port's infrastructure build-out is progressing rapidly, including the completion of a 900-meter quay wall and deepening of the access channel to 18.5 meters—capable of accommodating the world's largest vessels transiting through the Suez Canal. Terminal 1 will feature fully automated container transport systems, increasing port efficiency and enhancing supply chain resilience across Saudi Arabia and beyond. The automation rollout is matched by investments in workforce development. NEOM's Green Hydrogen Plant Nears Completion
NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) has reached a significant milestone in its green hydrogen project at Oxagon, Saudi Arabia. This joint venture includes Saudi utility giant ACWA Power, U.S.-based Air Products, and NEOM, the developer of Saudi Arabia's ambitious smart city project. The construction has now completed 80% across all key project areas, including the hydrogen production plant, wind garden, solar farm, and transmission infrastructure. Once fully operational by the end of 2026, NGHC plans to operate the world's largest green hydrogen plant. This facility will produce up to 600 tonnes of carbon-free hydrogen daily, significantly contributing to reducing global carbon emissions. Additionally, this project supports the Kingdom's Vision 2030 ambitions, driving economic diversification and establishing global leadership in clean energy. Installation of Vital Equipment Underway The NGHC stated that installation of vital equipment is currently underway. This includes wind turbines, hydrogen storage vessels, electrolysers, cold boxes, and pipe racks—critical components needed to bring the plant into operation. The project is powered by a combination of solar and wind energy, with 4 GW of clean energy capacity targeted for completion by mid-2026. The first shipments of green ammonia—a transportable derivative of hydrogen—are projected to begin in 2027. Supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 This pioneering project directly supports the Kingdom's Vision 2030 ambitions to drive economic diversification and global leadership in clean energy.
