The new Primark Home store will open in Manchester this summer and will feature an expanded range of homeware and lifestyle items
This summer, Primark is set to delight fans of interior design with the unveiling of its first standalone Home store in England, located at Trafford Palazzo in Manchester. Following the successful launch of its inaugural Home store in Belfast earlier this year, the new two-storey outlet, spanning 11,900 sq ft, will be the first of its kind in England.
Primark has said that the store will showcase the best of the retailer's interior range, all under one roof. While Primark has not yet confirmed a specific opening date, it assures customers that the doors will open this summer. A spokesperson shared: "Manchester shoppers can discover an expanded range of homeware and lifestyle essentials to give their homes the glow-up they deserve."

The range includes high-quality staples such as cotton bedding and towels, soft furnishings, small furniture pieces, and unique ceramics. Keeping pace with the latest homeware trends, from teddy bear bedding and delicate bow decor to seafood-inspired tableware, Primark Home blends style, comfort and affordability to help shoppers transform their houses into homes.

The new store will also feature Primark's recently launched Edit, described as a sophisticated collection of home products including stylish tableware, plush towels and luxury home fragrances. Additionally, it will house a dedicated Travel Shop, aimed at assisting customers in preparing for holidays throughout the year with a selection of chic and practical travel necessities, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Paul Baldwin, Trading Director for Home at Primark, commented: "Our mission is simple: to make it easy for everyone to create a home they love, without breaking the bank. Customer reaction to our first Primark Home store in Belfast has been really positive, and we can't wait to bring this exciting new concept to Great Britain later this summer.
"Homes have become more than just places to live, they're an extension of our personalities, so whether it's soft furnishings, statement tableware, or smart storage solutions you're after, our range has something for every style and budget."
Mark Whittaker, Managing Director at Peel Retail and Leisure, expressed his enthusiasm: "The opening of Primark Home at Trafford Palazzo, in the heart of Trafford City, is an incredibly exciting moment for us. Not only because we are the first destination in Great Britain to do so, but the opening is going to be adding a leading concept to our already unique mixture of immersive shopping and leisure experiences. Primark Home will have something for everyone, and we look forward to the store opening in summer."
Primark Home's debut at Trafford Palazzo marks its first venture in England. It is set to enhance the existing array of Primark stores throughout Greater Manchester, including those at Trafford Palazzo and Manchester Market Street, and extend to Oldham, Bury, and Wigan.

Whilst the standalone Home store promises a fresh shopping experience, customers can still savour the extensive variety of Primark's full collections at its main Trafford Palazzo outlet, situated just a stone's throw away. This includes the newly launched Primark Café featuring Disney's Stitch, available for a limited period only.
For those preferring to shop nearer to home, shoppers can use Primark's Click and Collect service, which is now accessible in all stores across the UK. After browsing the range of women's, men's, kids ', baby and home Click and Collect products on Primark's website, customers can then select their chosen store to be able to add them to their virtual basket.

Once all items are added to your bag and checked out online, choose your preferred collection day for free and then collect from a dedicated collection point at your nominated store. As soon as your order is ready to collect, you'll be notified via email and text message, and you can make your way to your chosen store for collection.

Known for its affordable fashion and homeware, the high street giant may have just introduced a new crowd-pleaser. The retailer's Oversized Crinkle Shopper Bag looks similar to a style by brand Arket but at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers can snag the Primark version for £15, while the other version is currently priced at £119 online. ‌ The bags are very similar, with a woven design and crinkle-look finish in a burgundy shade. They also both feature a similar shape and magnet closure. ‌ However, there are some differences too, including that the Arket bag has an adjustable, leather handle. Primark's is a fixed length and matches its woven design. The full Primark product description reads: "Get ready to fall in love with this textured oversized crinkle shopper bag. This lightweight tote is perfect for adding a touch of boho chic to your everyday look. "It's super spacious for all your essentials and fastens with a handy magnet to keep everything secure. The comfy shoulder straps make it easy to carry around town. It's the perfect blend of style and practicality!" Arket's description states: "Straw bag with an adjustable shoulder strap in chrome-free leather. Features a cotton lining, magnetic closure, and an internal zip pocket." Primark's Oversized Crinkle Shopper Bag is priced at £15, while the Arket Lined Straw Bag comes in at £119. This means shoppers could save around £104 by opting for the bargain version. Primark have said the shop will bring together "the best of Primark's interiors offering under one roof." It will host an expanded range of homeware and lifestyle essentials for Manchester shoppers to browse and buy. The move comes following the firms first ever dedicated Primark Home store was opened in Belfast earlier this year. The new location in Manchester will also include a dedicated travel shop to help customers get holiday-ready. Paul Baldwin, Trading Director for Home at Primark said: 'Our mission is simple: to make it easy for everyone to create a home they love, without breaking the bank. "Customer reaction to our first Primark Home store in Belfast has been really positive, and we can't wait to bring this exciting new concept to Great Britain later this summer. "Homes have become more than just places to live, they're an extension of our personalities, so whether it's soft furnishings, statement tableware, or smart storage solutions you're after, our range has something for every style and budget.' An exact date for the stores opening hasn't been given by the retailer yet but it is expected to come this summer. 'One of each please,' shoppers race to Primark for adorable cosy homewear The new store will stock all manner of high-quality essentials like cotton bedding and towels, soft furnishings, small furniture and quirky ceramics. Trafford Palazzo is already home to one Primark location with the new store adding to the retailers offering on the site. Primark stores usually stock a full range of goods from clothes, to home to holiday essentials. For the first time ever Primark will now stock just homeware in a store. The fashion retailer currently employs over 80,000 people internationally. 2 Primark is known for its budget options and huge range, offering an extensive selection of goods at a low price. The retailer boasts over 460 stores globally with the new Primark Home in Manchester boosting this number further. According to the retailer: " Primark Home combines style, comfort and value to help shoppers make a house a home." Thrilled shoppers took to social media to show their excitement for the new stores launch. One user said: "You've got some great home stuff please make this department bigger and give us trolleys." Another commented: "I need one of everything, and two cushions." A third replied: "We need this store in Kalamazoo Michigan." Why Primark is great for looking expensive on a budget By Clemmie Feildsend, Fabulous Fashion Editor AS someone who's no stranger to grabbing a last-minute outfit from Primark for a night out, it's about time that celebrities started catching on too. For as long as I've been heading out, Primark has been my go-to for those 'I have nothing to wear' moments, rushing in at the last minute to find something perfect. And I'm definitely not alone - on any Friday or Saturday night, you'll find plenty of shoppers doing the same thing, right before closing time. But no matter what, Primark always delivers. Now, Rita Ora is leading the charge, showing that you can snag a designer-worthy look without spending a fortune at high-end stores. While Rita's not rushing in last minute for a red carpet outfit, she's proving you can achieve the same high-impact style for much less. Looking stunning in her tailored suit alongside her mum Vera, Rita fit right in among the other A-listers dripping in Prada, Dior, and Victoria Beckham - if anything, she looked even better than some of the guests at The Fashion Awards. With Myleene Klass and Roxy Horner already jumping on the Primark bandwagon, I'm sure more stars will be following suit soon enough.
