Hamas: Israel turned Gaza aid points into mass killing zones

Roya Newsa day ago

The Hamas movement has accused Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) of committing fresh massacres near humanitarian aid distribution points in the Gaza Strip, claiming that at least 26 Palestinians were killed at dawn while waiting for food assistance.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Hamas alleged that the aid drop sites, coordinated under a US-'Israeli' mechanism, have become 'daily death traps' for civilians in desperate need of food and supplies, particularly in southern Gaza and western Rafah.
'These points have effectively become daily death traps targeting innocent, starving civilians,' the group said, asserting that nearly 250 people have been killed in similar incidents around these centers since their establishment. Thousands more have reportedly been wounded.
The group's press release described the killings as part of a 'systematic, brutal policy of genocide,' citing continued airstrikes on residential neighborhoods and displacement camps as evidence. Hamas accused the 'Israeli' government, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, of weaponizing humanitarian aid as 'a tool for killing, abuse, and humiliation.'
Calling on the international community to intervene, the statement urged global institutions to put an end to the 'barbaric mechanism' and to hold 'Israel' accountable for what Hamas labeled as 'sadistic criminal behavior.'

FM condemns Israeli strike, warns of breaching Jordanian airspace

Ammon News - Jordan will not permit its territory to be utilized as a theater for conflict by any party, nor will it tolerate any infringements upon its sovereignty or threats to the security of its people from either Israel or Iran, Minister of Foreign Ayman Safadi said Friday during a telephone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. Minister Safadi conveyed the Kingdom's condemnation of the Israeli aggression on Iran, characterizing it as a dangerous escalation, a violation of international law, and an assault on Iran's sovereignty. He affirmed that Jordan would deploy all available capabilities to counter any violation of its airspace. Safadi reiterated that Jordan's stance is resolute and recognized by both Israel and Iran. Foreign Minister Araghchi expressed appreciation for Jordan's clear position regarding the condemnation of the aggression and its rejection of escalation, which he acknowledged threatens regional security and stability. Safadi emphasized the imperative of coordinated efforts to achieve de-escalation and to safeguard the region from a potential descent into a new regional conflict, which he stated would jeopardize peace and security regionally and globally. He further articulated that de-escalation necessitates addressing all contributing factors in accordance with international law, founded upon respect for state sovereignty and the legitimate rights of nations.

Jordan issues emergency safety guidelines amid regional escalation

The National Center for Security and Crisis Management in Jordan issued safety instructions on Friday for citizens in case air raid sirens are heard or unidentified objects fall from the sky, amid heightened regional tensions following 'Israeli' strikes on Iran. If you are outdoors: Seek shelter in the nearest building immediately. If no shelter is available, lie on the ground, cover your head with your hands, and preferably stay close to a wall or in a low-lying area. If you are in a vehicle: Pull over safely and remain inside the car. If you are indoors: Stay away from windows and avoid using elevators in case of a power outage. In all situations, authorities urge the public to call emergency services at 911 if there are injuries or damage, avoid spreading rumors, rely solely on official information sources, and only use phones when absolutely necessary to avoid overloading networks. What to Do If Unidentified Objects Fall from the Sky: Stay away from the site and maintain a safe distance. Do not approach or touch the object, as it may contain explosives or hazardous materials. Immediately notify the authorities by calling 911. Do not gather at the scene or take photos for social media. Ensure your family members are safe and remain calm. Limit phone use to emergencies to preserve network capacity.
