Love Island rocked by THREE bombshell girls - as they crash boys' night in never-before-seen hidden camera twist

Daily Mail16 hours ago

Love Island is set to be rocked by three bombshell girls - as they crash boys' night in a never-before-seen hidden camera twist.
The ITV2 dating show, presented by Maya Jama, returned for a twelfth series earlier this week and has already seen one dumping.
After just 24 hours in the villa, located in Mallorca, motivational speaker and author Sophie Lee, 29, was booted off the show.
The Island has also been hit with three bombshells so far - waitress Toni Laites, 24, content creator Remell Mullins, 24, and scaffolder Shea Mannings, 25.
And in tonight's episode, a whopping three bombshell girls will hit the villa while the lads hang out for boys' night - with the existing ladies watching on a secret camera to see how they react.
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
As day dawns in the villa, Harry gets a text: 'Boys, clear your schedules and get ready to leave the villa! #brotime #beersandbants.'
The lads are ecstatic, excited for the boys' night ahead - but the evening is not without fun for the girls either.
Walking into the garden, they are stunned to see a massive screen.
For the first time in worldwide Love Island history, the girls can watch exactly what the boys get up to as it happens - and the lads have no idea.
As they gradually work out the nature of the set-up, seeing and hearing the boys talking on the enormous screen, an astonished Meg says: 'F*** off!'
Alima adds: 'We'll get to see how they act!'
What they discover does not exactly leave them best pleased, as the boys talk openly about their current matches.
And what's worse is the lads' hangout is soon interrupted by three brand new bombshell girls - Emily, Malisha and Yasmin.
Megan shouts, 'There's three of them!', as Harry, on-screen, asks the newbies: 'Are you coming back with us?'
Malisha replies: 'Of course I am!'
The new ladies waste no time getting to know the boys, with Yasmin saying: 'Tell us what your situation is in the villa at the moment.'
And with the lads blissfully ignorant of the fact they are being watched, they do not hold back with their answers.
Malisha, 24, a teaching assistant from Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, has a very clear idea of the kind of guy she is looking for: 'A tall, dark, handsome man.
'He has to be very tall. I'm 5ft7/5ft8. I want to be able to wear heels and feel feminine.
'He has to be funny, but not too funny; I have to be the funniest.
'I want someone that's caring and a bit loving, but then I like someone that can give me a bit of rude banter. I like to be a bit cheeky.
'I like nice teeth. Someone who's calm, but not too nonchalant. Someone that's really loving and is all about me.
'They need to know what they want. I like a determined man who is like, "I want you and I'm coming for you".'
And she is put off by 'bad hygiene and snoring': 'I'm such an angelic sleeper.'
The bombshell is determined to find love in the villa: 'If I want it, I'm going to get it. I always get what I want.
'I'm an only child, so of course I'm going to get what I want. I'm in there for myself. I want to find a man. Actually, I want to find a husband, that's what I want to find.'
Commercial banking executive Yasmin, 24, from London, does not have quite so many requirements: 'I'm looking for a guy who is fit, has a nice body and who is funny with a bit of banter.'
Meanwhile, she is immediately put off by any man who is 'stingy'.
Yasmin has many self-professed strengths to offer: 'Flirting. I'd definitely say it's all in the eyes.'
And, more unusually: 'I can make a really realistic cat sound...'
Emily, 24, an insurance development executive from Aberdare, Wales, has a clear vision for her time on the Island: 'Someone with emotional intelligence for one.
'Someone who is really confident but not cocky. They can hold a room, communicate… oh, and biceps!'
She is ultimately looking for a real sweetheart: 'I want someone who is just really genuine and kind. I know that sounds so naff, but it's hard to find these days.
'I'd also like a man who genuinely cares about my wellbeing and my feelings and wants to look after me.
'I want a male figure comforting me and wanting to do the little things, like getting me a morning coffee and noticing if my back needs sun cream.
'I feel like that's where people have lacked before.'
But she will be turned off straight away by anyone with bad manners: 'Being rude, not saying please and thank you.
'I'd rather someone be overly polite than not say it at all.'
Emily was self-aware too about how she can be in relationships: 'I'm really stubborn.
'I am always right and I don't argue unless I know I'm right. If someone's arguing with me and I know I'm right… watch out!
'I'm not very good at being the one to say "sorry". I'm stubborn and set in my ways. If I make my mind up I'm set, which can be good and bad. I'm decisive, 100 per cent.'
Does her decisiveness mean she would steal a boy from another girl? 'I wouldn't go after someone who wasn't giving me the vibe back.
'I wouldn't choose someone who didn't fancy me. You can always feel if there's a vibe.
'I wouldn't want someone who doesn't want me or was giving someone else the time of day or lying to me. I want to be open and honest.'
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

‘Misshapes, mistakes, misfits': Pulp's signature secondhand style has stood test of time

Thirty years ago this month Pulp played the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury and took their reputation to another level. If part of this was due to a storming set taking in their new hit Common People, debuts for their future hits Mis-Shapes and Disco 2000, and the star power of singer Jarvis Cocker, it was also down to their look. There was Steve Mackay, bass guitarist, in a fitted shirt and kipper tie, Russell Senior on violin in a blue safari shirt, keyboardist Candida Doyle in sequins and – of course – Cocker, in his now signature secondhand 70s tailoring. Fast forward to 2025 and Pulp have their first album in 24 years, More, and a tour taking in the UK, Europe and the US. It is a moment that will put their music and their style back in the public eye. While the bucket hats, parkas and round specs of Oasis, the other Britpop band on tour this summer, are likely to dominate what young men are wearing, Pulp's look is an alternative one that celebrates the secondhand. As Cocker writes in his book Good Pop, Bad Pop, his first jumble-sale buy, a garish 70s shirt, was 'the real beginning of the Pulp aesthetic'. Its pomp can be seen in videos such as for 1993's Babies – with Cocker topless in a flared suit, Mackay in another garish print and Doyle in mod-ish stripes. The influence of Pulp's look in the 90s was partly about the sugar high of its eclectic, graphic take on nostalgia but also its accessibility. '[Other bands] had a secondhand look, but Pulp made it a little bit more colourful, not quite kitsch, but on the edge of kitsch,' says Miranda Sawyer, the author of the Britpop history Uncommon People. Doyle says: 'They obviously looked stylish but you did think, 'OK I can get that stuff'. We were skint for a lot of the first 10 years being in Pulp. I used to find some amazing things [in charity shops].' Three decades later, and secondhand shopping once again dominates the way young people dress. Peter Bevan, 30, a stylist and contributing editor of the Rakish Gent, says: 'Everyone I know who's my age or younger shops in charity shops, in vintage shops, Depop, Vinted. I don't know many people that buy loads of new things any more.' A survey in 2023 found that 64% of gen Z will look for an item secondhand before buying it new. While part of this is likely down to cost and environmental concerns, the haphazard nature of secondhand shopping is championed as a way to express yourself through clothing. 'Everyone who looks cool [now] is doing them rather than trying to do something else,' adds Bevan, who says this is why Pulp appeal. 'Although obviously [Pulp] all made very considered choices that work together you can tell that they're [each] dressing for them[selves] as well.' James Millar, a 22-year-old guitarist in the band the Sukis, regularly shares videos of his Cocker-like looks to the band's 103.4k TikTok followers, and watched Pulp perform in Dublin this week. '[Cocker] is heavily influenced by 70s fashion … but he's not doing 70s cosplay. When I see pictures of him, and what he wears, it just looks like him,' he says. While Doyle bristles at being classed as a Britpop band – 'we don't associate with [it] because of the union jack,' she says – they will inevitably be compared with Oasis, with both bands touring this summer. Style-wise, Bevan says Pulp come out on top. 'I like the Oasis look but [they were originally about a] counter-culture fashion moment. Now it feels like they're meant to look like they're not trying hard in a fashion way but in reality they are trying really hard to look cool. Pulp all have their own personal sense of style that goes way beyond throwing on a Stone Island windbreaker and a pair of jeans.' Sign up to Fashion Statement Style, with substance: what's really trending this week, a roundup of the best fashion journalism and your wardrobe dilemmas solved after newsletter promotion The fact that success eluded Pulp for a decade helped. 'Me and Jarvis were in our 30s by the time we got big, we'd had a long life of knowing what we liked to wear,' says Doyle. While other bands might have had stylists as standard, this was avoided in favour of wearing their own clothes, a principle that remains today. 'I still have a very strong sense of what I like and what I really don't like,' says Doyle. 'I make sure I wear something as bright as possible. I've got a new [outfit] that's white, there are some sequins on it, and there are some tassels. It's good with tassels, because when you move, it comes with you.' She says clothes were even part of what helped form Pulp in the first place. 'We all grew up in Sheffield, and if you dressed a bit strangely, you stood out. So we'd all congregate at the same venues,' she says, adding insight that sounds like a lost lyric from revenge of the nerds anthem, Mis-Shapes: 'There'd be townies and weirdos, squares and students.' Perhaps the enduring appeal of Pulp's style is once again about the triumph of Mis-Shapes, with its lyrics of 'misshapes, mistakes, misfits', and how expressing your personality through the lucky dip of secondhand clothing is a win. 'Jarvis understands his appeal,' says Sawyer. 'He's accentuating all the things that people have picked on him for. He's saying, 'I'm a tall weed or whatever you wanted to call me. This is who I am and, actually, I look great'.'

Laura Anderson gives reason for leaving daughter behind on couples holiday

Love Island star Laura Anderson was 'hurt' about a backlash to her recent luxury holiday with boyfriend Clark, but the devoted single mum is unapologetic about taking time for herself Love Island star Laura Anderson snapped back at trolls last week who cruelly shamed her for going on her first child-free holiday with her sportsman boyfriend – and now a source claims the 36-year-old is feeling 'hurt' about the backlash she has received. Laura had kept fans up to date about her luxury Maldives holiday with her partner, Dundee player Clark Robertson, 31, sharing a series of stunning, loved-up snaps from their exotic getaway. But rather than be happy for her first holiday with the footballer, some fans decided to call out the single mum – who has previously posted her trips with her daughter, as well as sweet videos with her at home – for not bringing 21-month-old Bonnie along. Now, a source claims to OK! that the online backlash has been deeply unpleasan t for the mum-of-one – but she's doing her best not to let it get under her skin. ‌ ‌ 'Being heavily trolled has been upsetting for Laura, as it would be for anyone. In her eyes, it's bullying behaviour,' they claim. 'Much of it seems to come from women, and that hurts her – she's a strong, single mum and she feels women should be supporting other women not attacking them.' Laura shares her adorable tot Bonnie with her ex, Hollyoaks actor Gary Lucy, who she met during her stint on Celebs Go Dating in 2022. The pair split a year into their relationship before Bonnie was born, with Gary, 43, publicly announcing their break-up just one day after Laura's announcement of her pregnancy. Laura was also criticised by some after revealing that the Maldives break had been gifted to her. One wrote, 'I don't understand society! I mean, I get why companies give free holidays like this to promote. 'But imagine if they allowed people who wouldn't normally experience these types of things and let them promote on social media. Like underpaid nurses, doctors, paramedics, firemen and the people that put out so much into society.' Others, however, were firmly in Laura's corner – pointing out that as an influencer, it was her job to promote companies to her 1.5m Instagram followers. One penned, 'It's called a PR stay. It's her job, she has over 1.5 million followers she is able to promote this to. It's how she earns a living.' Straight-talking Scot Laura swiftly hit back at the nasty online trolls who tried to guilt-trip her about her picture-perfect getaway, posting a video on social media where she more than set the record straight. ‌ 'Just to clarify, I do not feel guilty at all for holidaying without my child. Neither should you! Bonnie and I have holidayed together a lot and it's pretty obvious I'm a lone parent and look after her myself. l 100% deserve as many breaks as I see fit,' she said, clearly upset. 'I truly worry about the children of the women judging online and spreading hate. Spend your time reading your child a book instead of trolling me.' She added defiantly, 'I'm also not afraid to say I know l am an unbelievable mother, so your trolling doesn't affect me. It just makes me sad that my daughter is growing up in a world like this. I truly hope you heal.' The source goes on to claim, 'Laura doesn't feel she's done anything wrong – apart from having a good time on holiday with her boyfriend, and sharing her posts, like many of us do. 'She adores her daughter and is absolutely devoted to her. It's horrible for her to read these comments – but she's her own woman, she won't let it stop her living her life or let it destroy her happiness.' ‌ And the grass, as they say, is not always greener. Opening up last December, Laura – who was a runner-up on Love Island in 2018, bravely admitted, 'Single working mothers how do you do it? I'm so overwhelmed atm! I don't usually suffer from anxiety but my God I cannot sleep from worry and work is just getting on top of me. I know I'm lucky and I hate being that person who moans but my God there are not enough hours in the day. Trying to keep it together.' Cruel trolls and single mum struggles aside, things are looking good for Laura – who just weeks ago gave fans a sneak peek of her huge new home, with a vast garden and beautiful sea views. And, as for her love story with Clark, the pair seem to be going from strength to strength since going public with their romance last October. Opening up previously about how they first got together, Laura admitted, 'It's not very romantic, he messaged me online, I saw it about three years later and replied and here we are. It's nice, it's chilled, no drama, just simple. A good Scottish boy, I can't complain.' As Laura said in her recent Instagram Story, there will always be someone who is richer or doing better than you in life – 'whatever better is'. Be jealous if that's what you feel, she says, but 'don't judge that person because of it'.

Why Rosie O'Donnell fled to Dublin after Trump feud

The actress, stand-up comedian and former talk show host has bought a house in Dublin and is waiting for her Irish citizenship to be approved.
