Ferragamo Resort 2026 Collection

Maximilian Davis is busy chasing his muse—the elusive blend of sprezzatura and sartorial sleight of hand known as Italian elegance. It's the art of looking effortlessly put-together, even when every fold, cuff, and color combination has been meticulously perfected in front of the mirror for hours. In essence, it's a kind of deceptive nonchalance, an attitude perhaps best embodied by a stylish Florentine flair, of which the Ferragamo archives offer abundant examples.
For resort, Davis time-traveled from the roaring '20s to the bold '80s, riffing on the idea of garments passed down through generations. The Ferragamos are more dynasty than family, so it's no surprise that he's drawn to the mythos of heirlooms, classic pieces he reworked through his signature sleek, minimalist lens. Slightly eclectic while keeping its polish, the collection set out to explore 'what defines a person's character,' as Davis put it. To that end, he looked to photographer Karen Knorr, whose portraits of women in private interiors—spaces layered with discordant styles—say as much about identity as they do about taste.
A zebra-print throw glimpsed in one of Knorr's photos sparked the collection's animalier thread—an unexpected jolt of wildness against the muted palette of waxed canvas, sun-faded linen, and rich, buttery-soft leather, crafted into lean city coats and relaxed, androgynous tailoring. A standout was a cocoa-and-black zebra-print dress with a pleated bodice and flounced skirt, worn with a shearling shrug that dialed up the '80s attitude. The animalier motif continued in a flowy caftan printed with what could be described as the 'faded memory' of crocodile skin. Another highlight was a series of slinky crepe de chine dresses in barely-there nude tones, each threaded with delicate lace inserts that nodded to the 1920s. Think lingerie reimagined as minimalist eveningwear, sensual but sharp, with fluid but intentional silhouettes.
Menswear took a quietly expressive turn, trading overt statements for nuance and precision. Black was swapped out for a deep, inky blue—Davis's nod to the understated sophistication of the Italian way of dressing. 'Navy is such a classic color I've discovered in Italy,' he noted; here, it grounded a soft jersey three-piece suit with a slouchy, relaxed feel, that blurred the line between tailoring and loungewear. The vibe was pajama dressing with purpose: unfussy and stripped of rigidity.

Ford Builds Brand Passion Through Alice + Olivia Collaboration

Ford's Bronco=based collaboration with Alice + Olivia focuses on the beach lifestyle Ford The current era of Ford's lineup can be described as passionate. It's models enable a lifestyle that embodies a sense of adventure, capability or speed, or all of the above. But this can be said about a lot of brands. Which is the thinking behind the newest project from the Blue Oval: a style collaborative with luxury fashion label Alice + Olivia. A capsule collection of shirts, jeans and jackets from Alice + Olivia feature Bronco images and ... More slogans Ford For Bronco, Ford wanted to find a way to translate the idea of capability into empowerment and to appeal to women, allowing drivers to extend the experience into the lifestyle of a Ford Bronco owner. A fashion brand would covey the idea nicely. It might seem a natural to partner with a brand that produces clothing and accessories for off-roading and overlanding, or one that delivers a performance that is as tough as Ford's lineup. However, while that idea would easily appeal to current drivers passionate about the Ford brand, would it extend to those who are not yet there? Ford's brand partnership team needed to find a fresh and inspiring idea. Sydney Sweeney is seen driving her Cherry red 1969 Ford Bronco GC Images A few years ago Ford discovered, almost by accident, that the actress Sydney Sweeney, a Gen Z star of White Lotus and Euphoria, among others, was a Ford fan, not only as a driver but also as a mechanic who restored her own vintage Bronco. The company then partnered with her to design and give away a Mustang in a sponsorship that brought a whole new light to the brand, giving it exposure to younger, female consumers. For Ford, the empowerment and authenticity that Sweeney brought to project was key and why it elicited so much passion among consumers following the story and vying to win the Mustang. Customized Bronco Sasquatch models Ford Partnerships Are Seen As A Gateway To Brand Growth Ford realized that reaching outside the natural alignment with brand partnerships could be the key to appealing to new audiences and customers. For each model that the company seeks partnerships with, they look for a story that 'resonates with an audience that we don't talk to,' said Tyler Hill, senior manager of global licensing at Ford. Ford's partnerships span the lifestyle space, from the Mustang and Raptor in video games such as Fortnite and Rocket League to, Pac Sun, True Religion and Huckberry, but those are just the start. These partnerships have been so successful that Ford plans to focus on building more in the coming years. The Mustang icon is plays out on classic Alice + Olivia pieces Ford How Ford Decides Which Brands To Partner With Ensuring that a partnership is the right fit is one of the most important elements, Hill said. Having a deep knowledge of a brand's values, its goals and its business plans is key. To facilitate this, Ford is represented by talent and brand agency CAA, which helps to find potential partnerships, looking for those overlapping values and business priorities, and makes the connection with companies that are a good fit. But the collaboration has to go deeper than that, Hill said. 'Shared investment is part of the key to figuring out what we want to develop together.' The collaboration starts with both brands developing the concept together; from there, they develop design boards, identify the pieces to be developed and work to align the collection and directional design, as well as the use of logos. With pre-production samples in hand they will look to the original design board to ensure continuity and if things aren't exactly right they will tweak the product. For Ford, getting the logos, modern imagery, heritage details and even vintage ads, slogans and other intellectual property right is a must. Ford maintains an archive of all materials that their partners can use to workshop a collection and ensure that it's done properly. Classic retro bellbottom jeans are a natural fit for the Bronco collaboration Ford Authenticity Is At The Root Of All Collaborations Another important part of the Alice + Olivia collaboration, or any collaboration, is authenticity. In this case, Ford envisioned using a fashion collaboration to showcase the beach lifestyle that Bronco embodies, a bit of a counter to Bronco's off-road reputation. Working with a softer, brighter color palette, Ford customized two Broncos for the sun-and-sand lifestyle, a perfect pairing with a female-focused fashion brand. Alice + Olivia was a natural not only for its appeal as an confident and empowering brand, but the fact that founder and creative director Stacey Bendet is a Bronco fan. That she takes a very nurturing posture toward anything that might impact the brand image of Alice + Olivia helped too; Bendet and her team took a deep look at how the Bronco partnership would work before agreeing to it. A The Alice + Olivia collaboration focuses on the beach lifestyle Ford Capsule Collection From Alice + Olivia The result of the collaboration is a 10-piece capsule collection of jeans, jackets and shirts priced from $195- $795 that dropped on June 20th. The collection, which features the Born Wild slogan as well as modern and vintage images and logos, is a limited edition offering and is expected to sell out quickly. Consumers who miss it this time should keep an eye out for more, though; Ford plans on collaborations as a part of its strategy for the future and possibly, more with Alice + Olivia. A New Thriller: Visconti's Hitchcock Vertigo Pen Collection

Actors James Stewart as Detective John 'Scottie' Ferguson and Kim Novak as Madeleine Elster in a ... More publicity still for the film 'Vertigo', directed by Alfred Hitchcock, 1958. This year marks the 67th anniversary of Alfred Hitchcock's acclaimed film Vertigo, which some say is one of the best movies of all time and certainly one of the English film director's masterworks. And this anniversary year ushers in some exciting celebrations honoring the psychological thriller and its stars, including James Stewart and Kim Novak, among other well-known actors of that era. Next up is the Vertigo67: Fourth International Film Conference, which will be held at Trinity College Dublin. Slated for August 13 – 15, the event will include presentations by international scholars and artists, and a special screening of the movie will take place at the Lighthouse Cinema. Visconti Pens As Objects of Creativity Visconti Hitchcock Vertigo fountain pen. While pens are often considered tools of the imagination, it's not surprising to me that one of this year's Vertigo-inspired nods is a new pen collection from Italian pen maker Visconti, which captures the spirit of the film – and its director – in its design. And the Visconti Hitchcock Vertigo references an aspect of the film's groundbreaking collateral: the well-known promotional poster designed by legendary American graphic artist Saul Bass, who also created the enthralling title sequence for the film. The poster features a swirling vortex with Stewart and Novak in silhouette, and its dramatic color scheme is echoed by the pen. Bass's designs helped to revolutionize how movies are marketed and how audiences respond to opening credits. Sotheby's said of the artist's poster, 'Amongst his very best work is the legendary design for Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 film Vertigo, which incorporated a distinctive spiral graphic element to convey a dizzying sense of disorientation.' A poster for Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 psychological thriller, 'Vertigo', starring James Stewart and ... More Kim Novak. An interesting two-tone enamel engraving in black and ivory coils around the vibrant orange resin of the fountain pen and rollerball, recalling the poster's hypnotic motif - a metaphor for the film's mind-bending complexity. The cap is decorated with an engraved and enameled likeness of Hitchhock's bold signature, and the pens are accented with polished palladium metal trim and a white-enamel Visconti finial. The central ring is engraved and enameled with both the Visconti logo and Hitchcock's renowned profile. Here, too, is the emblem of the Alfred Hitchcock Foundation, established to preserve and promote the legacy of the filmmaker and director. There are just 958 pieces in the collection – a tribute to the year in which the movie was released. More Details The Hitchcock Vertigo fountain pen is fitted with a steel nib available in fine, medium and broad sizes; it is filled by cartridge or converter and is priced at $550. The rollerball pen is priced at $525. Both pens have magnetic caps. Viscconti was founded in Florence in 1988 by pen collectors Dante Del Vecchio and Luigi Poli with a goal of creating writing instruments that not only write well, but also explore the outer limits of pen design. The company's evolution has included new principals and new pens, such as the Hitchcock Vertigo, that are an homage to the broader context of creativity. Other limited editions currently available include the iconic Homo Sapiens and the Van Gogh collection, each of which – like the movie – set a new standard.
