Authorities told The Sunday Times that the man, who posed as the groom in the ceremony, claimed the event was intended purely for the creation of social media content. However, the seriousness of the situation came to light after Disneyland Paris staff raised concerns when they noticed the supposed bride appeared alarmingly young.
The event, scheduled as part of a pre-booked wedding package, quickly came under scrutiny, leading to police intervention. Further investigation revealed that the guests at the wedding were actually hired actors who had been transported to the park with minimal knowledge about the event's true nature. Alexandre Verney, assistant prosecutor for the Seine-et-Marne département, confirmed to The Sunday Times that the child was given a medical examination and was found to be physically unharmed. In connection with the incident, police arrested four individuals: the British man alleged to be the groom, the child's 41-year-old Ukrainian mother, and two Latvian nationals aged 24 and 55.
While the mother and the 55-year-old Latvian have since been released from custody, Verney said the British man and the 24-year-old Latvian remain detained as authorities explore potential charges of financial fraud. Guests left stunned
Eyewitnesses at the park expressed disbelief upon realising the child's role in the ceremony. Speaking to French news outlet Le Parisien, one attendee said, 'We all thought we were going to attend a wedding. Everyone was stunned, no one expected it.'

Superyacht that killed UK billionaire and daughter brought ashore for investigation
Tech tycoon Mike Lynch's superyacht has been taken to the town where British and Italian investigators will carry out a full probe into the sinking. The vessel was held above the water by one of Europe's most powerful floating sea cranes, which set off from the fishing village Porticello at around 1.10pm local time. It was held in front of the crane as it moved. The vessel arrived in Termini Imerese, a town around 12 milies away at just after 3pm on Sunday. It will then be moved into a specially manufactured steel cradle, which has a tarpaulin underneath for pollution prevention. Salvage workers on site, not accompanying the vessel to port, are conducting a 'full sweep' of the seabed near Porticello for any potential debris, a project insider said. Italian prosecutors previously said raising and examining the yacht for evidence would provide key information for its investigation into the sinking. It will also aid the Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) report on what happened. Simon Graves, an MAIB investigator, previously told the PA news agency: 'When the wreck is brought ashore, we'll be completing a full examination of the wreck and we'll be finding out all of the elements that might have contributed to the safety of the vessel.' Further details such as 'escape routes' will be included in its final report on the sinking, according to Mr Graves, who added: 'Once we get access to the vessel we'll be able to tell a fuller picture of activities on board and the sequence of events.' One person was killed and eight others were injured overnight in the city of Bila Tserkva, located about 85 kilometers (53 miles) southwest of the capital. 3. The city's administration reported on Telegram that one of the subway entrances in Kyiv was also damaged in the attack. Subway stations are typically used as shelters during air raids. 4. The emergency services stated the most severe damage happened in the Shevchenkivskyi district, where one section of a five-story apartment building collapsed. Residential areas, hospitals and sports infrastructure in numerous districts across Kyiv were hit by Russia's drone and missiles. 5. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko mentioned six people were declared dead in the Shevchenkivskyi district. 10 others, comprising a pregnant woman, were rescued from a nearby high-rise that also suffered heavy damage in the blast.
