Four-star linebacker Anthony Davis Jr. helped lead Grayson High School (Loganville, Georgia) to a 14-1 season and a GHSA 6A state championship as a junior last season.
Despite sharing the field with Tyler Atkinson, the No. 1 linebacker in the country, Davis was extremely productive. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound defender racked up 105 tackles with 15 tackles for loss, three sacks, five pass breakups and an interception.
Davis ranks as the No. 14 linebacker and the No. 24 player in the talent-rich state of Georgia in the class of 2026 (Rivals). He holds 48 offers entering his senior year.

The list includes Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss and Michigan.
All five of Davis' top schools hauled in top-20 recruiting classes in the 2025 cycle, including Alabama, Auburn, Michigan and Florida within the top 10.
Visit season will be a key part of Davis' recruitment as he takes official trips to his top contenders.
Auburn is slated to get the first crack this weekend before Davis travels to Ole Miss (June 6) and Alabama (June 20). There is plenty of time for the Wolverines and Gators to schedule visits.
The Under Armour All-American has amassed 172 tackles (21 for loss) with 6.5 sacks, six pass breakups and two interceptions over the last two seasons at high school powerhouse Grayson.

Fireworks Set To Explode In Hamburg!
Fireworks Set To Explode In Hamburg! originally appeared on Athlon Sports. History is about to be made in Hamburg when two undefeated Heavyweight champions of the future meet. The two unbeaten heavyweights are set to collide for a continental title on June 7th. Advertisement This is not just any other fight; it is the biggest Heavyweight fight to take place in Hamburg since the Klitschko Brothers ruled the heavyweight ranks. When you look at the two competitors, you can understand the excitement. Xhoxhaj, who is 32 years old from Kosovo, has never lost a boxing match since he started his professional career. His record of 20-0-1 certainly shows that he knows what it takes to win a boxing match, with 16 knockouts out of those 20 wins, he has displayed the ability to end fights. He recently won the European title in an effortful battle. He still came to the top even after being knocked down. Xhoxhaj again faced Oleksandr Zakhozhyi, who was much bigger, and he still won the match. "This is one of the biggest fights of my career," said Xhoxhaj to his fans on his Instagram account recently in May 2025. Can you hear the determination in his voice? Advertisement Challenging him will be Mourad Aliev, a 29-year-old left-handed boxer. Aliev represented France as an amateur in the Olympics before turning professional. He, too, is undefeated with a record of 13-0, with 10 knockouts, and is looking to add a European title to his WBC International Silver belt. Both fighters' styles make the matchup interesting. Xhoxhaj is a grinder and is going to come forward all night long no matter the cost. Aliev is the slick boxer and Olympian who will make you miss and make you pay. Both fighters have a lot to fight for. Both will walk away with the rights to brag about being European Heavyweight champions. This opportunity also represents a legitimate chance to potentially fight for a World title. This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 1, 2025, where it first appeared.

Social media reacts to Alabama's season-ending Hattiesburg Regional loss at Southern Miss In what was a back-and-forth contest, the Alabama Crimson Tide's 2025 season officially came to an end with a 6-5 loss against Southern Miss on Saturday afternoon. Ending the Crimson Tide's time in the NCAA Tournament, Alabama originally jumped out to an early lead in the third inning with a solo home run from Will Platner, with Southern Miss however immediately responding back with a two-run shot to take a 2-1 lead. The Crimson Tide however also responded almost immediately in the fourth with a two-run home run from Will Hodo to take a 3-2 lead, but Southern Miss responded with a long ball of their own in the bottom of the frame once again, tying the score at 3-3. After the two back-and-forth innings, Alabama eventually took a 5-3 lead in the seventh inning after a massive two-run home run from Bryce Fowler, putting the Crimson Tide in a position to close out a potential victory to keep their season alive. However, the Crimson Tide surrendered three runs in the eighth to give Southern Miss a 6-5 lead, and even despite loading the bases with two outs in the ninth, were not able to capitalize, and as a result, saw their time in the NCAA Tournament come to a close. Knicks Fans Enraged by Alleged Phantom Call Against Miles McBride Saturday
Knicks Fans Enraged by Alleged Phantom Call Against Miles McBride Saturday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The New York Knicks trailed the Indiana Pacers by a score of 92-77 entering the fourth quarter of Saturday night's Game 6 in Indianapolis. Advertisement The game included lots of exciting back-and-forth play between the Eastern Conference's top two teams and plenty of drama including a controversial call that went against the Knicks during a critical juncture in the third quarter. The play happened as Knicks point guard Miles McBride caught a pass near the left sideline. McBride drifted toward the corner for a chance at a much-needed three-point shot and managed to get it off in time before an Indiana defender came flying in for a potential block. It was then that the Knicks' fortunes took a turn for the worse. Advertisement "Deuce McBride did not step out. Refs straight stole 3 from the #Knicks on a fast break," one fan wrote on X with a replay of the call. "Pretty weird that the announcers didn't say (expletive) when they called that out of bounds," another said. "Blatantly obvious that he never stepped out lol," they added. Others question Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau for not challenging the play. "No challenge or nothing is crazy," one said. The comments poured in as the Knicks attempted to mount a fourth quarter comeback on the road in hopes of stealing another one like they did in Game 4. The Knicks trailed by 12 points with just under eight minutes left in Game 6.
