‘Tom Cruise's stunt double?': Man narrowly escapes bridge accident in movie-style move, the Internet can't believe it
From scaling the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, to hanging off the side of a flying cargo plane, Tom Cruise has pushed the limits in his signature Mission: Impossible films. His fearless commitment to performing his own stunts has earned him widespread critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base over the years. Though Cruise's stunts seem nearly impossible to pull off in real life, a man recently amazed the Internet by narrowly escaping a bridge accident with a move straight out of an action film.
The viral video, reportedly filmed in Vietnam, captures three men riding a motorcycle as they approach a bridge, when a van suddenly appears. The motorcycle collides with the bridge's fence, causing the vehicle to teeter dangerously before falling towards what appears to be a brook. However, the man seated at the back of the motorcycle acts quickly, jumping off just in time to narrowly escape the fall and miraculously save himself.
Sharing the video, an X handle @TheFigen_ wrote, 'He's definitely Tom Cruise's stunt double!'

Either way, it's a testament to human agility and quick thinking under pressure.' Another user wrote, 'He was really smooth. Didn't want to get his feet wet!!'
'Damn. That was quick thinking and even faster reacting,' a third user reacted. 'Where is Guinness World Record? This guy needs a trophy,' a fourth user said.
In another survival incident, a man from North Carolina recounted the harrowing moment a coyote unexpectedly attacked him, saying he survived by choking the animal for 10 minutes until it finally died.
According to the New York Post, James Pulliam shared that he was smoking outside his Roxboro home late Friday when he suddenly felt like something was 'watching him.'

Diddy trial: 3 new celebrity names come up as ex-assistant Mia makes damning revelations
Three new celebrity names have come up during Sean 'Diddy' Combs' federal sex-trafficking and racketeering trial. The names came up during the testimony of Diddy's ex-assistant Mia, who worked for the rapper from 2009 to 2017. Mia's text messages about A-listers were shown to jurors. Mia, who testified anonymously under the pseudonym, texted the Bad Boy Records founder on March 8, 2019, asking him to watch the Netflix show 'Love' by director Judd Apatow, the New York Post reported. In another text Mia sent Diddy on May 14, 2020, she spoke about the death of record executive and media mogul Andre Harrell, the man who is often credited with discovering the 'I'll Be Missing You' rapper. 'Puff my heart is broken about Dre. I've spent all week crying for you as well," Mia texted Diddy. Mia later also texted Diddy about actor Chad Boseman's death. Diddy replied, "How are you? Yeah, life is crazy." Mia shared various other details about Diddy during the trial. At one point, she said that Diddy placed a tracking device on his on-and-off girlfriend Cassie Ventura's car. "He's stolen my phone many times, he's stolen Cassie's phone many times," Mia told the jury. "He's put tracking devices on her car. I'm not sure what he's capable of. I was terrified.' Mia told the jury that Diddy allegedly sexually assaulted her multiple times. Diddy's defense attorney Brian Steel pressed Mia about why she did not accuse the rapper of sexual assault during settlement talks in 2017 for unpaid wages. Mia claimed that she originally asked for $10 million for bonuses, severance and overtime that Diddy allegedly owed her, and never paid. However, she settled during mediation for $400,000 – an amount that was split with her attorneys in 2017. Mia further claimed that she did not know that sexual assault could be used in settlement negotiations, adding that it was in 2024 that she discussed the sex assault claims with prosecutors for the first time.

Jonathan Joss murder: Actor struggled to return to San Antonio from Austin hours before death, ‘I'm being ghosted'
Actor Jonathan Joss, who was best known for his voice work on the popular animated TV comedy 'King of Hill,' was fatally shot by a neighbor in Texas. The 'John Redcorn' voice artist, 59, got into an argument with the suspect at his home in San Antonio Sunday night, June 1, before the neighbor pulled out a gun and shot the actor several times, police said, according to the New York Post. While the suspect initially fled the scene in a vehicle, police soon arrested him a block from the residence. Joss' most recent Facebook activity suggests that he struggled to find a ride back to San Antonio from Austin. He wrote on Facebook a day ago, 'Last night's gig was amazing — huge thanks to everyone who came out and showed us love! We're feeling so grateful for the support and good vibes. Now we're looking for a ride from Austin to San Antonio — if anyone's heading that way soon and has room for a couple of performers and our gear, hit us up! Thanks again, y'all. We couldn't do this without you!' Shortly after, Joss wrote in another post, 'We can throw in gas money and migraine healing for anyone heading to San Antonio'. A few hours later, Joss revealed that he got no help with the transportation. 'Unfortunately my former manager did not help me with transportation to get back to San Antonio which was the plan….now I'm being ghosted. Could anyone please give my husband and I a ride to San Antonio,' he wrote. Shortly after, Joss wrote that they got a ride. 'We have a ride thank you to everyone,' he wrote. In a separate post, which was his last post before he died, Joss wrote, 'Our ride will arrive in a few hours thank you everyone we are grabbing some food and feeling thankful for the support'. Joss is survived by his husband Tristan Kern de Gonzales, whom he mentioned in one of his last posts. Gonzales described Joss as the "love of his life' in a previous post announcing their union.
