CLEARWATER, Fla. - A Clearwater woman is accused of choking, beating and dousing her 5-month-old puppy with pickle juice and hot sauce, officers said.
The Clearwater Police Department said they arrested La'Myah Rumph, 19, after the incident, which happened at an apartment off of Alpine Road. When police responded to a disturbance report, they found Rumph in the apartment with the dog cowering in its crate still.

The officer who responded to the incident saw that the puppy could not put weight on its left hind leg, and that the crate had damage consistent with the impact of an object, like the animal, being thrown forcefully against it.

What's next
Pinellas County Animal Control was called to take care of and treat the puppy, officers said in Rumph's arrest report.
Rumph was arrested on an animal cruelty charge, according to police.

What we know Units with the Seminole County Fire Department (SCFD) were dispatched in regard to a fiery car crash at 9:13 a.m. Saturday on S.R. 46 at Osceola Road in Geneva. Officials say the crash involved three vehicles and six people. Authorities say a Dodge truck was in a ditch and 50% engulfed in fire when they arrived. One person in the truck and one person in a van refused to be transported to the hospital. One person in an SUV died, 1 was trauma alerted, and two were transported to the hospital. The Seminole County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) is at the scene, and the roadway is currently closed in both directions. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is also assisting in the investigation. The Ajax striker Brian Brobbey has been the target of violent extortion threats involving arson, explosions and a shooting, according to reports in the Netherlands. Het Parool reports that the attacks on Brobbey came after he allegedly refused to pay €150,000 to an Amsterdam criminal who claimed to have 'solved a problem' for him.
