This AI video generator is going viral, and it's completely free to use

AI video generators are having a bit of a moment. Whether it's Google's Veo 3, complete with audio integration, or something like Kling 2 or Runway that are creating movie-quality clips with ease, the technology has come a long way. But along with the big-name companies vying for the best AI video generator, there are some smaller underdogs of the AI video world. One that recently caught my eye was Hailouai. I kept seeing videos generated by the model popping up on sites like X, with users showing off their impressive generations. This isn't the first time we've talked about Haliuo, in fact, we were impressed by a major update it revealed late last year. But the AI company is back in people's minds with its most recent updated called the Director model. In this version, like a few other big AI video generators, you can input camera angles and movements, to give your videos a bit more action. This new update gives users on Hailuo a bit more control over what they are producing. It allows for the alteration of camera angles in prompts in two ways. Users can either choose from a pre-selection of options like 'downward tilt' or 'right walking' or they can come up with their own. Like most video generation experiences, creativity can either reward or hinder you. Sometimes, getting too complicated with camera angle suggestions resulted in a complete mess of an experience, or the model would ignore it completely. I found more success when using Hailuo by focusing on the options I had been given. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. You can choose to either make a video from scratch with a text prompt or use an existing image that you want to edit. You can also add an image of someone and ask for them to be dropped into a scene. This option comes with an incredibly long list of warnings about use of that image and follows the same concerns that come with deepfakes on any platform. All of this technology can be found in competitors like Runway, Kling and Higgsfield. One of the major benefits of Haliuo is how good the free version of its software is. The load times are slightly slower, and you are still limited in credits, but that limit is pretty high. You will be able to get 20 to 30 videos generated before you near the end of your credit limit and there are ways to get more without having to sign up for a paid plan. However, on the free plan, your images and videos will have watermarks on them - something to keep in mind if you plan to use these videos commercially. Once you've made an account on Hailuai, you'll land on the homescreen. You should have roughly 1,000 credits at this point. Videos cost around 30 credits and images just 1. On the left hand side there are four ways to interact with the AI generation. For this particular activity, we want the 'create video' section. Here, you can choose to turn images into video, text to video or input your subject reference (an image of a person to edit). Most importantly here, you want to change your model at the bottom to T2V-01-Director to add the camera angles change. Then, by clicking the small camera in the bottom right corner, you'll be able to choose the camera angle style for your video. Once that's all selected, and you've put your prompt in, click the generate button in the bottom right. It will take a few minutes to generate but compared to other free video generators is actually quite fast. This isn't the best AI video generator on the market, but considering how good its free plan is (and then how affordable the paid plans are) its a great choice for those not wanting to fork out large amounts of money to generate a few videos. Hailuo offers all of the same features you'd see in leading models and, quite frankly, in some ways more. You can even ask Deepseek for assistance on your prompt directly from the Hailouai app. With such stiff competition in this market, Hailoai is keeping up surprisingly well with the likes of OpenAI and Gemini, even offering the ability to add sound (at the expense of more credits of course).

Miley Cyrus and Boyfriend Maxx Morando Take Couple Coordinating to a Whole New Level with Matching Hairstyles

Miley Cyrus and boyfriend Maxx Morando went out for a glamorous date night in New York City on June 5 While the couple didn't coordinate their ensembles, they did have matching hairstyles Cyrus and Morando have been dating since 2021Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend, Maxx Morando, are hair twins. The "Flowers" singer, 32, was spotted having a fashionable night out with her musician boyfriend, 26, in New York City, on Thursday, June 5. The couple was spotted leaving the Four Seasons Hotel after Cyrus' private event, then they set off for the rest of their evening. For their date night, Cyrus wore a brown satin, fitted cone bra dress with black criss-cross lace details down the front of the dress, as well as the hips. The hem of the dress featured a long fringe that swayed as the singer walked. Morando kept his look classic for the evening, wearing an all black suit consisting of a jacket, matching shirt and black pants. For a casual touch, the musician kept a couple of buttons loose to expose a white crew neck undershirt. Though their outfits were distinct, the couple matched when it came to the way they styled their hair. Cyrus styled her brunette hair with blonde highlights in carefree curls that cascaded down her back. She also styled her now grown out baby bangs into curls that were flipped away from her face, and folded in seamlessly into the rest of her hair. Morando, meanwhile, kept his overgrown mullet and bangs styled as he normally does — he let his natural curls pop, with a few pieces laying less than perfectly for a chic touch. Cyrus' curls paired with Morando's curls led to a matching hair moment that recalled the likes of David and Victoria Beckham's twinning hair styles in the 2000s, or Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt in the '90s. Cyrus and Morando's last major matching hair moment came in March, when the couple walked the red carpet at the 97th annual Oscars on March 2. is now available in the Apple App Store! For the glamorous red carpet date night, Cyrus wore a custom Alexander McQueen black halter dress with sequined and sheer elements. Though Cyrus would debut baby bangs later that night, she started off the evening with old Hollywood-inspired curls. Morando similarly kept his mullet styled in his natural curls, though his were wispier and highlighted with blonde — a near-direct match to Cyrus's blonde highlights for the evening. Jason Biggs Recalls Climbing Into Trash Can at 4 A.M. to Snort Cocaine amid Addiction: ‘Absolutely Insane'

Jason Biggs opened up about his struggle with drugs and alcohol during the height of his career while living in Los Angeles The American Pie star recalled climbing into the trash can to retrieve cocaine he had already thrown away He said he was able to get his health on track after moving to New York, and has been sober since 2017Jason Biggs is sharing one of his 'craziest stories' with addiction, and the moment he climbed into a trash can to snort cocaine. The 47-year-old actor appeared on the June 4 episode of the Well with Arielle Lorre podcast and opened up about the height of his drug and alcohol addiction. Following the success of American Pie early in his career, Biggs said that with fame, he 'learned very quickly' how rare it was for people to say no to him while he was living in Los Angeles, which escalated his substance abuse. 'Being 22 with money in the bank and coke in my pocket and no one saying no to me,' he said. Biggs told Lorre that when he met and married his wife Jenny Mollen, he was using drugs and drinking alcohol much more than she knew. He was 'blocking everything out with drugs and alcohol… and it just got worse and worse.' The Orange Is the New Black actor then recalled one of the lowest points of his addiction. 'I lived in the gray area, but I have 'snorting dust off the floor' stories or similar to that,' he began. 'One of my craziest stories was, I was doing cocaine by myself in my house, and I did what I said was the last line.' Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Biggs said it was 4 a.m. and Mollen was asleep. In an attempt to stop himself and go back to bed, he threw the drugs into the trash can. 'Within 15 minutes, as soon as my last bump is wearing off, I'm like, what am I doing? I go into my trash, and I take it out and I do a line,' he said. In another attempt to stop, Biggs said he went outside and put the rest of the cocaine into the trash can in front of their house. 'OK, I'm done,' he told himself before going back inside and grabbing an Ambien to help him sleep. 'Before I took the Ambien, I was like, 'One more,'' he said. 'I went outside and I climbed into the trash bin and got the bag of coke and went upstairs and did another line. I was like, 'What the f— am I doing? This is absolutely insane.'' is now available in the Apple App Store! Download it now for the most binge-worthy celeb content, exclusive video clips, astrology updates and more! Biggs said that he constantly struggled with sobriety while living in Los Angeles. 'I would find myself alone and isolating and I would find myself breaking whatever sobriety I had. It was incredibly fragile, obviously, in those early days,' he said. Biggs explained that despite having met some great people in L.A., living there wasn't good for his health, and the environment made his drinking worse. He said moving to New York was life-changing and a 'healthier place' for him to get his life on track. 'There's something about the energy of New York that gives me something, that fills me in a way that Los Angeles couldn't. But I do believe coming to New York helped me. So, I did fall off the wagon here, but that was seven and a half years ago and it's been going well." Biggs has been sober since 2017 and shared his first anniversary of sobriety on Instagram in October 2018. 'I first tried to get sober over 5 years ago, when the weight of my obsession with booze and drugs became too heavy for me to handle,' he wrote alongside a photo of a silver coin that read, 'To thine own self be true' and has the engraved words 'unity, service, recovery.' 'Turns out this s--- is hard,' he said at the time. 'After some fits and starts, I've managed to put together one year of sobriety. I'm as proud of it as anything in my life.' Biggs concluded by encouraging those who are also battling addiction not to give up. 'If you're struggling, know there's help,' the star wrote. 'Don't be ashamed. We can do this. 💪🙏.'
