Sarah Jessica Parker Doesn't Take Photos With Fans

Buzz Feeda day ago

If you see Sarah Jessica Parker in person, you might be able to get her autograph — but don't get your hopes up for a photo.
Sarah doesn't exactly love in-person pics, and she explained why during a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show.
The topic came up when the two were discussing Sarah's experiences meeting fans in person. When Howard asked whether fans ever approach her for her autograph but not her husband, Matthew Broderick, Sarah said, "I wish people asked for autographs, Howard. No one asks for autographs anymore. They ask for a selfie."
"Oh, don't you hate that?" Howard replied, leading Sarah to agree.
"Yeah, so here's what I've been trying to do," she said. "'Cause I was just at the airport on Friday. A woman came up to me and she didn't say hello. She just said, 'Can I take your picture?' and I said, 'We didn't even meet. You didn't even introduce yourself. What's your name?'"
"When you tell me your name, I'm gonna tell you no," Sarah confessed, "but we're gonna have a conversation and I guarantee you it's gonna be so much more meaningful."
Sarah said it feels impersonal when fans only come up to take her picture — and sometimes it's even "startled" her. "I kind of prefer it to somebody walking up to me with the camera already ready, asking as they're clicking," she shared. "I always am like startled by it, and I tell you, I much prefer to have a conversation, for someone to come up to me and say, 'Maybe this isn't your best time. My name is Veronica and I'm just here and I'm excited to see you.'"
Honestly, I get it! What about you? Watch the full clip here, and then let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Dog Walker Arrives, Has 'Absolute Worst Feeling' Over What She Finds

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Dogs are often the first ones to greet you as you walk into a home, but when one dog walker arrived at an eerily quiet house, panic set in. Sarah, a dog walker known on Instagram as @dallas_dog_walker, arrived at a client's house to take the canine on a walk, a dog she's worked with plenty of times before. She told Newsweek via email that Tate is "ALWAYS at the door waiting" for her, but when she arrived this time, she could tell something was off. "When he wasn't there, my first thought was, 'Am I supposed to be here?'" she said. She mixed up days before and showed up at the house when Tate didn't need a walk, running into his owner. That's when she called for his owners before stepping in further. But when no one answered, she was overcome with the "absolute worst feeling." In her June 10 Instagram video, she listed out possible scenarios going through her mind—is he home, is he ok and what would she find? "He didn't make any noise, which leads me to believe he wasn't stuck in the bathroom and crying out for help," she said. "The door was cracked, so ultimately he could've gotten out." She walked through the house, searching for Tate. His dog bed was empty. Toys were scattered on the ground. Sarah eventually found a door cracked open. She pushed it forward and was finally greeted by Tate's excited jumping body and his nonstop wagging tail. "...he chose to give me a mini heart attack," Sarah said. Meanwhile, Tate couldn't stop jumping up to give Sarah kisses. He has no idea the slight panic he caused that made her heart sink. "I did tell his parents about what happened prior to posting online," she said. "I am a dog walker first, content creator second. I make sure my parents are aware of what happens during our walks as opposed to finding out online!" Viewer Reactions The Instagram video amassed over 55,600 views, 3,323 likes and 23 comments within two days of posting. "He said, 'Hide & seek. Now you hide,'" wrote one viewer. Others understood Sarah's pain: "I've felt that before! Turns out the dog was just in the backyard. Scared the life out of me." A third person commented: "As a dog walker, my heart STOPS when this happens." Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share? Sarah Jessica Parker Shares Reaction to Learning Fans Didn't Like ‘And Just Like That' Character Che

Sarah Jessica Parkeradmitted she was surprised to learn that fans didn't like And Just Like That…character Che Diaz, played by Sara Ramirez. While speaking to The Guardian on June 6, Sarah, 60, said she had no idea that so many fans didn't like the controversial nonbinary character until a friend brought it up to her. "A friend of mine brought it up to me, and it's like: 'What are you talking about?'" she recalled. "And he said: 'Yeah, there's all this conversation.' I've been an actor for 50 years, and I've almost never paid attention to peripheral chatter." Sarah added that she "loved working with" Sara, 49, who is also nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns. It was revealed in February 2024 that Sara would not return as standup comic Che after appearing on And Just Like That… for the first two seasons. Shortly after the show's debut in 2021, Che quickly became a meme and the butt of the joke among many viewers. The Grey's Anatomy alum reflected on the backlash while speaking to Variety in June 2022. "Other people's opinions of a character - that's not something I can allow into my process," they said. "I choose what I receive, right? That's the beauty of being grown - I don't have to receive everything!" Che was romantically involved with original Sex and the City character Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon), while they also worked on a podcast with Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker). In addition to discussing the backlash surrounding Che, Sarah also reflected on Sex and the City's popularity among Gen Z. "It's curious, because their lives are so different – the language they use around dating is different," she told The Guardian about the younger generation. "They're less patient. They're more punitive. They're not as forgiving of people's shortcomings. I'm not condemning it, it's just what I've heard. So it's really interesting that they feel so spirited about it." One topic that the younger viewers have strong opinions on is Carrie's relationship with Mr. Big (Chris Noth). The couple dated on and off throughout the original series, and they faced several obstacles before they wed during the first Sex and the City movie in 2008. Big eventually died during the season premiere of And Just Like That… The relationship has faced backlash, with many viewers believing that they didn't have a healthy dynamic. "It doesn't mean they aren't objecting to Big and Carrie's relationship, or the way he treated her, or choices Carrie made," Sarah continued about the younger fans' views of the show. "But people had those strong feelings back then, too." When asked if she was disappointed by any of the original show's plot lines, Sarah admitted that viewers could sometimes be "disheartened" by seeing what the characters went through. "But the show is also about finding home and contentment, whatever home means to you," she continued. "I feel that 20- and 30-year-olds should be searching. There should be something in the distance that's important and exciting, and worth the wait. Part of it is rather dreary that great women of all ages are still incredibly frustrated by the dating scene, but I also see a lot of happy endings." Copyright 2025 A360 Media. All rights reserved.

Owners Show Dog How To Use Pet Door, Unprepared for What She Does Next

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. You might think that walking through a dog door would be a pretty simple task, but one German shorthaired pointer's (GSP) disastrous attempts appear to prove otherwise. After recently moving to a new home that features a "built-in doggy door," dog owner Sarah thought it would be a useful way for her GSP Juno to get in and out of the house. However, there's just one problem with that, as Juno couldn't actually figure the door out. In a hilarious video posted on Instagram (@ and on TikTok (@sarhahahhaha), Juno can be seen approaching the doggy door, only to face plant the glass instead. Rather than walking through the small opening that's at her height, she leapt up and smashed straight into the glass door. Social media users can't get enough of the dog's confusion, leading to more than 5 million views and 241,000 likes on Juno's dedicated Instagram. After reposting the video on her TikTok account, Sarah's post has also generated over 2.3 million views and 281,200 likes at the time of writing. Writing on TikTok, Sarah explained in the caption of her post that she and her partner had just bought the property and it was Juno's first visit to the house. The video captured the owners during their second or third attempt at showing the dog how to use the doggy door. Clearly, further attempts would be required before she got the hang of it. Thankfully, Sarah added that Juno was "100 percent fine" after her mishap, and she's still trying to figure the door out. @sarhahahhaha Replying to @bribob here's the original without the ~subtle foreshadowing~ Some context: we just bought this home that has a built-in doggy door! This was Juno's first time visiting the house, and probably our 2nd or 3rd time that night trying to show her how to use it 🙃 and yes she is 100% fine, and no she still has not gotten the hang of it ♬ original sound - sar Indeed, Juno's owners have shared further videos of their efforts to teach the dog how to use the doggy door properly. In one TikTok video, the owners can be seen crawling through the gap themselves before encouraging Juno to do the same. But as intelligent as German shorthaired pointers are, the pup still can't seem to master the simple task. Needless to say, social media users are obsessed with Juno's hilarious attempts to jump through the glass door. In just a matter of days, the video has amassed over 350 comments on Instagram, as well as 860 comments on TikTok. Among the responses, one Instagram user wrote: "Oh lord I don't know what I was expecting but it was definitely not that!" Another person replied: "Glass door: 1, Dog: 0." A TikTok user commented on Sarah's post: "I love [people] leaving tips when this is just a GSP doing normal things." While another comment reads: "Me after someone explains simple directions to me."
