If you thought only Tom Cruise could push the limits with his stunts in Mission: Impossible films, strap up because you are in for a ride. A Vietnamese man left social media flabbergasted with his brilliantly timed jump to escape a bike crash. And the move was straight out of a Hollywood action flick.
In a video shared on X, three men are seen riding a motorcycle, which approaches a bridge at high speed. At the crossroads, a van appears from the other side, and the rider loses control of the vehicle. To avoid hitting the van, he decides to plunge the bike into the stream flowing underneath the bridge.
Since the two-wheeler nearly brushed the bridge's fence, the third man jumped just in the nick of time. He held on to the iron fence, pulling off a miraculous save, reminding people on the internet of something they had only seen in the movies.

Many in the comments section praised his presence of mind.
One of the users said the man in the video "pulled a Mission: Impossible move", while the one seated in the middle was "still buffering".

In February, a video of a skydiver suffering a mid-air seizure during a free fall went viral. The clip showed the skydiver losing control and spiralling uncontrollably while unconscious. But moments later, a fellow skydiver-instructor manoeuvred through the air to reach him. The rescuer then stabilised the skydiver's descent and deployed their parachute just in time, averting a fatal disaster.

‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning' box office collections day 21: Film inches closer to Rs 100 cr mark: Strong hold into the third week

'Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning' continues its steady run at the Indian box office, collecting Rs 66 lakhs (early estimates) on its 21st day. Despite entering its third Friday, the Tom Cruise-led action franchise has managed to retain a decent footfall, pushing its total India net collection to an estimated Rs 94.86 crore across all languages. While the pace has slowed, the film is now eyeing the Rs 100 crore milestone in the coming days. Occupancy Trends on Day 21 According to the Sacnilk website, the film recorded an overall 18.53% English occupancy on June 6, 2025, with night shows showing the best performance at 28.99%. Night shows again led with 19.78%, while morning shows stood at just 7.24%. While regional versions in Telugu and Tamil have contributed marginally to the collections, the bulk of the business continues to come from the English and Hindi versions, particularly in urban centres. Three Weeks of Consistency After a solid first week collection of Rs 54.4 crore, the film held decently in its second week with Rs 26.75 crore. The third week, although registering a 51% drop from the second, still added Rs 13.05 crore to the total. The weekday collections remained under ₹1 crore but were consistent enough to maintain momentum. Sustains its brand value 'The Final Reckoning', which started with a stellar Rs 17 crore opening weekend, continues to benefit from strong brand recall, slick action, and Tom Cruise 's star power. Tom Cruise breaks a wild world record in Mission Impossible Finale — here's what he did mid-air

Tom Cruise has once again pushed the boundaries of action filmmaking. The Mission Impossible star has entered the Guinness World Records for completing the highest number of flaming parachute jumps by any actor or stuntman. Cruise performed this feat by jumping out of a plane 16 times, each time strapped with a parachute pre-soaked in fuel and set on fire. He then cut off the burnt parachute mid-air and safely deployed a backup chute. The record-setting jumps were done as part of the action sequences in Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning. The jump that broke records Cruise's record-breaking stunt was executed during the filming of the latest Mission Impossible installment. Director Christopher McQuarrie confirmed that during the sequence, Cruise had a 50-pound camera rig attached to his body, making the jump more complex. According to the Guinness World Records website, no actor or stunt performer has come close to matching the number or intensity of these jumps. Cruise's history of performing his own stunts Tom Cruise is known for performing most of his stunts, and this record further cements that reputation. For over 20 years, he has been flying planes and helicopters himself. He also holds licenses for every type of aircraft he's piloted in his films. His consistent effort to keep action sequences authentic has set him apart in the industry. The record site acknowledged this by highlighting the danger and uniqueness of his parachute jumps, calling them 'death-defying drops' unmatched by anyone else. Recognition and praise from Guinness officials Craig Glenday, editor-in-chief at Guinness World Records, praised Cruise's dedication. 'Tom doesn't just play action heroes — he is an action hero,' said Glenday. He also credited Cruise's success to his commitment to authenticity and willingness to go beyond traditional acting expectations. 'It's an honor to be able to recognize his utter fearlessness with this new Guinness World Records title,' he added. More milestones in Cruise's career This is not Cruise's first recognition from Guinness. He is also the only actor to have 11 films that each grossed over $100 million at the box office. This record, combined with his latest achievement, showcases the consistency of his career and his longstanding appeal among audiences.
