Oppo Reno14 Pro unveiled with four 50MP cameras, Dimensity 8450 chip, Reno14 joins in
Today, Oppo unveiled two rugged mid-rangers that are designed to film 4K 60fps video out in the wild. Both have big batteries and are built for sustained performance, be it video recording or gaming.
The Oppo Reno14 Pro is the larger and more capable of the two, but differences between it and the vanilla model aren't that big. The Pro is powered by the Dimensity 8450, which is so new that it isn't even on MediaTek's site yet, so we don't know CPU or GPU details yet.

The Pro has four 50MP cameras, three of which are on the back – main (f/1.8, OIS), ultra-wide (116°, AF) and 85mm periscope (3.5x optical zoom with OIS). There's also a 50MP selfie camera with a 90° f/2.0 lens. Oppo Reno14 Pro camera details
Both the front and back cameras are capable of 4K video recording at 60fps. The rear cameras can do it with the super stabilization feature enabled too, while the selfie camera does 4K 60fps without stabilization and 1080p 30fps with super stabilization.
Interestingly, Oppo advertises the Reno14 Pro as a phone built for live video broadcasts. It has even designed an active cooler that clips on the back and a 20,000mAh power bank to keep the broadcast going for hours. The three onboard microphones promise 90% noise reduction. The color temperature sensor does automatic color correction.
The phone's 6,200mAh battery can last up to 5 hours of live broadcasting. And if gaming is your thing instead, the phone can do up to 8 hours. There is a live recording feature that captures the previous 30 seconds of gameplay, so you'll have big moments in the game captured on video, even if you tap the record button after they happen.
Back to the battery, 6,200mAh is the largest capacity on a Reno phone yet and it's fairly thin – 7.48mm for the Reef Black model (Mermaid and Purple are 0.1mm thicker). It weighs 201g too. The phone supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The Oppo Reno14 is the smaller of the two – it has a 6.59' display (1080p+), compared to the 6.83' panel (1272p+) on the Pro. In both cases, it's a 10-bit 120Hz display with Oppo Crystal Shield Glass. The vanilla model is thinner and lighter too at 7.32mm (Reef Black, +0.1mm for Mermaid and Green) and 187g.

This is with a slightly smaller 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired-only charging. There are a few other features that were dialed back compared to the Pro model.
The Reno14 has a 50MP main camera (f/1.8, OIS) and a 50MP periscope (80mm/3.5x, OIS), but the ultra-wide only has an 8MP sensor (still with a 116° AF lens, though). The 50MP selfie camera is the same too. Oppo Reno14 camera details
The vanilla model is powered by the Dimensity 8350, a 4nm chip with four Cortex-A715 cores (one at 3.35GHz and three at 3.2GHz) and four A510 cores (2.2GHz), plus a Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. Both Reno14 models can be configured with 12GB/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Both phones are rated IP68/IP69 and have dedicated underwater photography and filming modes (up to 4K 30fps).

Oppo uses record-breaking UEFA Champions League final to flex AI and camera muscle
The UEFA Champions League Final ended on Saturday with a dominating 5-0 win for PSG over Inter - a record victory in the competition's finals. The match took place in Munich, and since Oppo is one of the competition's main sponsors it took to the packed 75,000 arena to promote its latest smartphones and tech. Oppo Find X8 Ultra camera samples The Official Smartphone Partner, as Oppo is called in this relationship, had demo booths for AI selfies and held a charity football game with football legends Kaka, Cafu, and Micah Richards. New leak reveals unexpected details about Samsung's upcoming top-tier tablets
Samsung will have a very busy summer, but that has become tradition for the South Korean company, which remains committed to launching two flagship series each year. After introducing the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year, Samsung is now gearing up for another major launch, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Besides these two foldables, Samsung is also expected to refresh its flagship tablet series with at least two new models, Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Rumor has it that the tablets aren't ready for release yet and they're unlikely to hit shelves along with Samsung's new foldables, but that's no surprise considering that most of the company's high-end tablets were announced in fall. Unlike last year when Samsung launched a 'Plus' Galaxy Tab S10 version, this year the South Korean giant decided to limit the series to just two models: Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The former makes a comeback after one year of hiatus, while the latter continues the string of 'Ultra' tablets Samsung launched since 2022. The first information leaked about the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra indicates that both tablets will be equipped with Dimensity 9400 processors, MediaTek's flagship chipset. Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has a 11,200 mAh battery, just like the previous Ultra models | Image credit: PhoneArena New details about Samsung's flagship tablets reveal that at least one of them will have a bigger battery, which is unusual. Ever since Samsung launched the first Ultra tablet, the Galaxy Tab S8, it always included a 11,200 mAh battery. However, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra seems to feature a slightly larger battery. The folks at GalaxyClub found evidence that Samsung's next flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, will have a 11,700 - 12,000 mAh battery. The exact capacity will be announced by Samsung, but the rated capacity of Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is 11,374 mAh. In comparison, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has a rated capacity of 10,880, although the advertised battery capacity of the tablet is 11,200 mAh. This will be the first time that Samsung upgrades the battery of its Ultra tablets. Even if that seems a minor improvement, it makes way for more improvements in future models.

Redmi Pad 2 pricing leaks through retailer listings
Earlier this month we caught our first glimpse of the upcoming Redmi Pad 2, the successor to the original Redmi Pad from 2022 - this one has definitely been a (very) long time coming. Today its pricing has been outed through a number of retailer listings in Europe. These show that the Redmi Pad 2 will go for €199 with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and Wi-Fi connectivity. That's the base model. Redmi Pad 2 European retailer listings If you want 4G access too, it looks like you'll need to pay €299, but that version also gets you 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, both of which sound much more manageable in 2025 than the 4/128GB combo. The listings show a Mint Green colorway as well as a gray-ish/black one, and we assume those will be the only versions. All of them mention that the tablet is powered by MediaTek's Helio G100 SoC, it has a 9,000 mAh battery, and an 11-inch IPS LCD screen with "2.5K" resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and 600-nit peak brightness. Camera-wise there will be an 8 MP rear shooter and a 5 MP front-facing one. The tablet will support 18W wired charging but won't ship with a charger in the box in Europe. Via
