Pep Guardiola reveals Kyle Walker reunion as Joao Cancelo's Manchester City reunion looms
Manchester City have been reunited with Kyle Walker in the United States this week, according to manager Pep Guardiola. The England international is fresh off the back of a short-term loan deal in Italian football with AC Milan, having left the Etihad Stadium during the January transfer window in search of a fresh challenge during a difficult campaign. Advertisement Walker's exit left a sour taste in the mouths of many Manchester City supporters, with some feeling as though their club had been betrayed by it's most senior player and official club captain at the lowest point in the season. However, despite the feeling that City's association with their long-standing right-back is coming to a close, there appears to have been a reunion involving all parties whilst at the FIFA Club World Cup. That reunion comes despite Pep Guardiola insisting late on last season that Kyle Walker would not be a part of his Manchester City squad, even in the event of the veteran defender not joining AC Milan on a permanent agreement. Speaking during his pre-match press conference ahead of Manchester City's meeting with Al Hilal, Guardiola was also keen to insist upon the fond memories he has of working with Joao Cancelo, and the circumstances that also led to the defender's exit. Advertisement 'All players that have been with us I have incredible memories! I have incredible respect for Joao and everyone. Always when you take decisions it's not easy,' Guardiola admitted. 'When your boss tells you, 'You don't work. Stay at home', how would you feel? That is what players feel when you say you don't play! He has an incredible heart, but he was upset and sad because he didn't play, he LOVES to play football,' he added. 'When I said, 'Training is over', he said, 'No, no! One more! One more!' He LOVES to play football, and I'm happy he had the experience in Barcelona, and after in Al Hilal, happy he's back from injury. Joao was nominated best full-back in the year we won the Quadruple. He's an exceptional player; he can play right, left, both legs without problem.' And while admitting he is looking forward to reuniting with the Portugal international in Orlando when Al Hilal take on Manchester City in the FIFA Club World Cup, Pep Guardiola also appeared to reveal a link-up with Kyle Walker following his loan at AC Milan. Advertisement 'I'm happy tomorrow to see him [Joao Cancelo], like I saw Kyle [Walker] last day here, and the players that play in Juventus that played with us – always it's nice when you play these tournaments to review players that were important,' said Guardiola. 'We won many, many things with him [Cancelo], many, many things. And that remains all the time, and after the situations that happen sometimes are understandable. We had to take a decision, we took it, but it remains what we lived and the person who he is!' Despite Kyle Walker appearing to reunite with Manchester City in the United States, the feeling remains within the club that the 35-year-old will bring a permanent end to his association with the club this summer. While there has been tenuous interest from the likes of Everton in the Premier League, nothing concrete involving a deal for Walker is yet to develop, and it remains to be seen where he will end up come the start of the new season.

Treasure Trove of 20 McLaren Road Cars s Is for Sale, Most of Them Orange
The personal road car collection of Mansour Ojjeh, longtime McLaren racing team sponsor, is up for auction. There are 20 cars, each of them the last of its line. The collection includes the last McLaren F1 ever built and could go for a record sum. There are car collections, and there are car collections, and the 20 cars currently coming up for auction at Tom Hartley Jnr is emphatically the latter. Let's start with the headliner: the last McLaren F1 ever made, showing just 1100 miles on its odometer. The F1 was McLaren's first road car, and the 20 supercars listed here are basically a snapshot of the brand's roadgoing legacy since, almost all of them finished in a deep metallic orange called Mansour Orange. Tom Hartley Jnr Tom Hartley Jnr You don't get your hands on the last ever F1 even if you're a longtime McLaren fan and owner, and this collection formerly belonged to a man central to the McLaren story. The late Mansour Ojjeh, part-owner of the TAG motorsports and aviation group, joined F1 as a sponsor of the Willams team in 1979. He later moved into ownership of McLaren during the mid-1980s, and he was there for the development of the TAG-Porsche racing engines, which brought early success to the team. Ojjeh was with McLaren for the next 40 years, including being part of the fateful moment, along with Ron Dennis and Gordon Murray, when the idea of the F1 was born. Tom Hartley Jnr Tom Hartley Jnr Ojjeh had other blue-chip cars in his collection at the time, specifically some of Ferrari's best, but as McLaren got going he started to create an all-McLaren lineup. This is that collection, featuring special editions and Le Mans series cars, including a Senna GTR, Speedtail, and Elva. All except for the P1 GTR and the F1 are completely undriven, each one the last chassis built of that particular model. Tom Hartley Jnr Tom Hartley Jnr Tom Hartley Jnr Tom Hartley Jnr It's an interesting way to create a collection, making sure you have the best and last variant made. Since all but two are basically brand new—and those two are museum quality—it's a fantastic opportunity for someone to acquire a collection dedicated to pure McLaren enthusiasm. With the team's F1 team doing so well in this year's championship, the timing is right too. Carefully curated by someone who was in the front seat for McLaren's transformation from racing team to full-scale supercar manufacturer, this collection is sure to fetch the tippiest-top dollar out there. They don't come any more significant than this. Brendan McAleer Contributing Editor Brendan McAleer is a freelance writer and photographer based in North Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Want to Hit a Stinger Golf Shot? Just 3 Adjustments Make it Easy
Want to Hit a Stinger Golf Shot? Just 3 Adjustments Make it Easy originally appeared on Athlon Sports. It's not always necessary to bust out the ol' stinger golf shot — which produces a low-flighted ball with lots of topspin to help avoid uncontrollable factors like the wind — but knowing how to shape golf shots is a skill that can instantly help lower your scores. Advertisement While most stinger shots are associated with links-style courses, like those hosting the Open Championship, it's also a type of shot that can be used as a fairway finder. That's because it removes the risk of hitting a driver by clubbing down to a mid-iron (like a 5-iron), adding some accuracy insurance. But how the heck does someone practice hitting a stinger golf shot? Thanks to golf content creator Dalton Joyce (AKA 'Young Dalt'), you can learn the simple adjustments to develop the technique. 3 Adjustments to Help Hit a Golf Stinger Shot While warming up on the driving range alongside the Rainmakers Golf crew, Joyce shared the three adjustments that he likes to make when practicing the stinger — and he actually uses a club with a smaller clubface to work on his ball-striking. Advertisement As he goes through his pre-shot routine, Joyce reveals his tips for hitting a golf stinger shot. "First, know your ball flight — is it going to fade or is it going to draw?" he asks. Once you identify the ball flight, Joyce says you've got to figure out your backswing and follow through length, ensuring you maintain good speed at the same time. "You're not swinging slower, you're stopping your hands faster," he adds. "I like to control the trajectory just based on where my hands are. So if I want to hit it high, I'm going to climb the ladder with my hands. If I want to hit it low, I'm going to feel as if the club's below my shoulder plane." Advertisement Finally, Joyce says that a big mistake most amateur players make is decelerating in the golf swing, which isn't going to produce this low-running shot. "You've got to punch it," he instructs. "There's no way to make crisp and consistent contact on a shot like this if we're decelerating." So if you're looking to master the golf stinger shot, start by using Dalton Joyce's easy adjustments while practicing on the range. With some repetition and instant feedback from the smaller clubface, you'll be smoking the low-runner in no time.
