Renowned Baloch car racer Tariq Baloch becomes latest victim of Pakistan's ‘kill and dump' tactic in troubled Balochistan

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has strongly condemned the killing of popular car racer Tariq Baloch , calling it another example of Pakistan's ongoing 'kill and dump' policy of violence in Baloch istan. The group said his murder is part of a broader pattern of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings used to silence Baloch voices. Tariq Baloch, son of well-known racer Ibraheem Kalamati from Jiwani in Gwadar district, was reportedly abducted by Pakistan's law enforcement agencies on the night of 11 May. Just hours later, his body was found dumped in Palliri, near Jewani, on the morning of 12 May.Tariq was admired across Pakistan and Iran for his racing talent. "His death shows that in Balochistan, even being a public figure or a sportsman doesn't protect you," said the BYC in a statement.This was not the first time Tariq had been targeted. In February, both Tariq and his brother Salman were allegedly picked up by Pakistan's Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD). They were released due to a lack of evidence.'This time, however, Tariq did not return alive,' the BYC said. The group criticised the 'kill and dump' tactic that has become common in the region, affecting not only activists but also students, teachers, workers and public figures. Baloch activists around the world have blamed the Pakistani state for Tariq's murder. During a rally in Quetta, Baloch leader Mahrang Baloch said, 'For every Baloch you murder, many more will rise. Our future generations will continue this resistance.'The Pakistani government has not responded to these accusations or shown any sign of addressing Baloch concerns. This has led to growing anger and political distance among Balochs.At the same time, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) released a statement titled 'A New Order Has Become Inevitable in the Region'. The BLA claimed that Pakistan is a global hub of terrorism and said the world must recognise it as a 'terrorist state.'According to the BLA, Pakistan's military and intelligence services support deadly terror groups like LeT, JeM and ISIS. The group also criticised Pakistan's nuclear status, calling it dangerous for global peace.The BLA said that without any outside help, they have managed to weaken a nuclear power through armed struggle. Under Operation Herof, the BLA claimed responsibility for 71 attacks across 51 locations, including areas like Quetta, Kech, Panjgur, and Nushki. These attacks reportedly targeted military bases, police stations, transport vehicles and highways.Jeeyand Baloch, a spokesperson for the group, said: 'There can be no peace until Pakistan is removed. We will continue our fight for a free and peaceful Balochistan.'The BLA has asked the international community to stop ignoring Balochistan's struggle and take action before the region sees more bloodshed and instability.Inputs from agencies

PM Narendra Modi may not yet have succeeded in breaking Balochistan away from Pakistan or getting back Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, but he has split the Congress down the middle. The recent decision by the Centre to send high-profile, all-party teams to 32 countries as well as the European Union has deepened fault lines in the Congress so much that the rifts are now in the open. Rahul Gandhi has predictably gone against the patriotic narrative and the tradition of the Opposition standing with the government of the day in the time of a national security crisis. He is talking Pakistan's language, questioning Indian defence forces about the number of planes Pakistan has shot down. He has mocked and attacked S Jaishankar for damaging India's war efforts by informing Pakistan about an attack although facts make it amply clear that India's foreign minister did no such thing. But this is not new for Rahul Gandhi. He has consistently spoken in China and Pakistan's voice after India's surgical strikes or skirmishes with the PLA. He secretly met Chinese officials while India was engaged in the Doklam conflict with China. He has been seen and accused of meeting Khalistanis, those close to the Muslim Brotherhood (like US congresswoman Ilhan Omar), entities believed to be working for the US Deep State and western globalists, particularly on his overseas trips. Currently, he is leading the 'Narender-Surrender' campaign against Modi, implying that India lost the conflict with Pakistan, regardless of the extensive and precise airstrikes on Pakistan's terror camps and air bases which ultimately prompted Pakistan to beg for a ceasefire. In the time of strife, Rahul Gandhi has undermined India's elected government and its stellar security forces more than most Pakistani politicians have. In contrast, senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has led India's most fierce and sophisticated global PR campaign to counter Pakistan's narrative. Tharoor, who would spiritedly debate Sangh Parivar's worldview of the Bharatiya civilisation, nature of being Hindu, and the idea of India, has for the last few weeks been the foremost voice of patriotism in the Congress and to the world. He has been a vocal and articulate endorser and ambassador of India's actions in Operation Sindoor. Salman Khurshid and Manish Tewari have similarly championed and amplified the Indian government's offensive after the Pahalgam attack. They have spoken in one voice with the nation. Then there is Jairam Ramesh. He has a different stand and has criticised the government for not being able to eliminate the Pahalgam terrorists so far. But Rahul has lately attacked Ramesh acerbically, even hinting that he could be doing the BJP's bidding. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has curiously been an example of speaking in two voices, perhaps one that of his own self and one of his master's. Presiding over a meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) on May 7, he said India had given a befitting reply to Pakistan. 'We are proud of the Indian Armed Forces, who have given a befitting reply by taking bold and decisive action against the terror camps of Pakistan and PoK under 'Operation Sindoor'. We salute the courage, determination and patriotism of our brave soldiers," Kharge had said. But the same Kharge, perhaps after chastisement from the proverbial Congress 'high command', later accused the Modi government of misleading the nation and demanded a special session of Parliament. So, who is the real Congress? Is the party torn between retaining a semblance of its patriotic past and legacy of the freedom struggle or has it become a radical, far-Left NGO bent on spreading hate, self-doubt, and chaos? Spyware-Like Apps Found In Nagpur Woman's Phone Who Crossed Over To Pak: Cops
Nagpur: Suspicious spyware-like applications in the mobile phone of Nagpur-based Sunita Jamgade, who has been held on espionage charges after she crossed over to Pakistan last month before being repatriated, officials said on Thursday. The 43-year-old woman's act of entering Pakistan has sparked security concerns with agencies probing possible espionage links, they said. "Police have found multiple suspicious applications in her phone, which are suspected to be spyware. These apps are being analysed to determine their purpose and origin," an official of Kapilnagar police station here said. "Authorities are probing whether she had any accomplices who facilitated her journey to Pakistan or supported her communication channels. The truth behind her motive, the apps and the nature of her chats will only come to light after a detailed forensic and intelligence investigation," he said. Jamgade had reportedly crossed into Pakistan from Hunderman village in Kargil, which is part of Ladakh union territory. She had left Nagpur with her 13-year-old son on May 4 and reached Kargil, from where she crossed over to Pakistan on May 14, police have earlier said. She had allegedly left her son behind in a hotel before crossing the Line of Control (LoC). Pakistani forces apprehended her after she crossed the border, and held her in custody until she was officially handed over to Indian authorities, they said. Preliminary investigation has revealed that Jamgade was in contact with two Pakistani nationals, identified as Zulfekar and Pastor, before her disappearance. A zero FIR was filed by the Amritsar police, which was later transferred to the Kapil Nagar police station in Nagpur, where she resides, according to them. A team from Kargil in Ladakh also arrived in Nagpur on Monday night to probe the case.
