All the celebrities mentioned in Diddy trial so far

Daily Mail27-05-2025

The trial of Sean 'Diddy' Combs is in its third week in New York and several A-list celebrities have been named-dropped throughout the bombshell testimony.
Diddy, 55, is currently standing trial on racketeering and sex trafficking charges, to which he has pled not guilty.
His former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, delivered graphic testimonies alleging that the music mogul physically and psychologically abused her over more than a decade from 2007-2018.
Diddy's ex-assistant Capricorn Clark exposed the mogul's list of celebrities enemies and many other A-listers have come up in testimony.
The trial has even inspired deep fake videos that use AI-generated images to falsely claim that certain celebrities, such as Oprah and Jennifer Lawrence, have been mentioned in the mogul's sex-trafficking case.
Here is a list of all the celebrities talked about in the trial so far:
Cassie Ventura
The 'Me & U' singer is Diddy's ex-girlfriend and the prosecution's star witness in the trial.
She provided explosive testimony about how she was allegedly coerced into participating in drug-fueled sex sessions that could last up to four days.
In humiliating detail, the eight-and-a-half month's pregnant singer claimed she was plied with booze and drugs and forced to 'perform' in the orgies, known as 'freak offs', along with male escorts.
The encounters formed part of a turbulent 10-year relationship with Combs, which was consumed by violence and his obsession with voyeurism, the singer told the court.
The alleged sexual exploitation left Ventura broken and feeling, 'like it was all I was good for,' she said.
Kid Cudi
The rapper, whose real name Scott Mescudi, was first brought up by Ventura when she testified that Diddy made an explicit threat about him after discovering they had been dating.
Ventura claimed that Diddy said he was 'he was going to hurt Scott and I' so she broke things off with him over Christmas 2011 while with her family in Connecticut.
The 'Pursuit of Happiness' hitmaker later took the stand and testified that Combs broke into his Hollywood Hills home in 2011 after finding out he was dating Cassie, and that someone set fire to his car weeks later.
According to Mescudi, he broke up with Ventura in late 2011 'for her safety, for my safety…because I knew Sean Combs was violent.'
But on January 9 2012 at 6.30am, Mescudi got a call from his dog sitter saying his Porsche was on fire.
The jury was shown photos of the car showing the door covered in black smoke, the red leather seats covered in black stains and the roof slashed.
Dawn Richard
Richard, who is a former member of Comb's girl group Danity Kane, testified that she witnessed the hip-hop mogul attack Cassie multiple times.
The singer said Diddy even threatened to kill her if she told anyone she saw him physically abusing his longtime girlfriend.
Richard testified the threat came after she saw Combs hit Cassie 'on the head and beat her on the ground' after Cassie deflected a swipe at her head by a skillet in 2009.
She claimed to have witnessed Combs beat his girlfriend frequently when he 'would punch her, choke her, drag her, slap her in the mouth. I saw him kick her, punch her in the stomach.'
Michael B Jordan
The 'Sinners' star came up as a man Diddy was jealous of because of their relationship with Cassie.
His name was included in a list list of people and places handed to potential jurors because they may come up throughout the sex-trafficking trial.
Jordan is on the list because he was once allegedly threatened by Diddy over his relationship with the rapper's ex-girlfriend Cassie, Rolling Stone reported.
Barack Obama
The former president's name came up in testimony as one of Diddy's former assistants claimed the mogul used to take ecstasy pills pressed with Obama's face.
Diddy's former personal assistant David James said that A-listers would pop pills including Percocet and ecstasy at the parties.
He did not say Obama was ever in attendance at the parties - but said celebrities would celebrate with 'various pills in the shape of the former president's face', the court heard.
Britney Spears
Britney Spears also came up as Cassie listed the stars who attended her 21st birthday party.
Ventura testified that he invited Spears, now 43, to her 21st birthday celebration at Pure nightclub on September 7, 2007.
'Sean was there and he brought [Grammy-winning music producer] Dallas Austin [and] Britney Spears,' the 'Me & U singer' told the court. 'I think those were the two people that stand out to me.'
Diddy and Spears also attended an afterparty thrown by rapper 50 Cent at the since-renamed The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino later in the evening, that extended into the early morning hours of September 8, 2007.
50 Cent
Diddy 's ex-assistant Capricorn Clark told the court she once heard the mogul discussing weapons as he spoke of his rivalry against rapper 50 Cent.
She said she and Diddy were leaving a press event at MTV when the mogul told an executive he was having issues with 50 Cent.
Diddy reportedly said, 'I don't lie the back and forth, I don't like that. I like guns.'
Diddy has frequently dispelled any rumors of a feud between the legends, but Curtis Jackson, also known as 50 Cent, has been slamming his nemesis publicly for years.
Lauren London
The actress, who was a close friend of Ventura, also came up in Clark's testimony.
Clark said Diddy once explained to her and London why they 'didn't have a man.'
'(He said) let me show you something. He called Cassie over and he asked her to sit down, stand up, turn around, turn the other way, walk over there, grab that hand me that, walk back, turn around, go back in the other room,' Clark told the jury.
When Ventura left the room, '[Diddy]said, 'did you see that? You bitches won't do that. That's why you don't have a man.'
'To which we said: 'You're motherf***ing right.'
Prince
Prince was named as Cassie described being attacked by Diddy after a party at the late superstar's house in LA.
Usher
Singing icon Usher was brought up in attendance at a star-studded dinner when the disgraced rap mogul assaulted Cassie
Richards testified that Usher was in attendance at a star-studded dinner when the disgraced rap mogul assaulted Cassie Ventura in a restaurant.
Chris Brown
The troubled star's name was brought up as a man Diddy suspected Cassie of having an affair with.
Cassie said Combs was wary of her dating or giving attention to other men, even during breaks in their decade-long relationship.
She says the hip-hop star took her phone from her on numerous occasions, including when he found out she was dating a football player and when she suspected her of dancing with the singer Chris Brown.
Cassie didn't name the player and denied dancing with Brown.
'He'd take my phone, my car, my watch when he was angry,' Cassie said of the music mogul.
Mike Myers
The comedian was included on the list handed to potential jurors because they may come up throughout the sex-trafficking trial.
It's unclear why Myers was on the list, but there is a scene in one of his Austin Powers movies that includes a Diddy joke, according to USA Today.
Biggie Smalls
George Kaplan, Diddy's former executive assistant, revealed that May 21, the birthday of Combs' late protégé Biggie Smalls, is a paid holiday at Combs Enterprises.
Smalls, who was also known as The Notorious B.I.G., signed to Combs' Bad Boy Records label in 1993.
The rapper, whose real name was Christopher Wallace, was fatally shot in Los Angeles in 1997.
Bruce Willis and Eddie Murphy
During her cross-examination, Cassie gave details of her past relationship with Combs, which lasted from 2007 until 2018.
Text message exchanges were shown to the jury, including one where she expressed her desire to have a larger role in Diddy's life as well as with his children from previous relationships.
She also gave examples of successful Hollywood relationships between stars who had children with other people.
Back in 2013, Cassie had penned a text that read: 'As much as you think you're Bruce Willis, you aren't. He's married, and before he was married, the family as a whole went on trips together or just him and his woman.'
She also brought up Eddie Murphy and his wife Paige Butcher whom he married in 2024. However, the pair had been dating for years leading up to tying the knot.
'Eddie Murphy and Paige took his kids away on their own,' Ventura had written in the messages. 'I don't think that you sympathize with my feelings.

Bryan Cranston opens up about his nepo baby daughter and her breakout role in The Pitt

Bryan Cranston was quite the proud dad while showering praise on his only daughter Taylor Dearden and her work on the Max medical drama The Pitt. Dearden, 32, is the only child of the Breaking Bad star, 69, and his wife of over 35 years, actress Robin Dearden. Taylor made her acting debut as a 'Sad Faced Girl' on an episode of her father's hit TV series, though she has made her own way ever since. After starring in a few short films, she played McKenzie on the web series 10 Ways to Get Rejected, along with Sweet/Vicious and Netflix 's American Vandal. She has most recently had roles in a pair of Apple TV Plus projects - For All Mankind and The Last Thing She Told Me. Taylor can currently be seen as Dr. Melissa King on The Pitt, with her father praising his only child during a red carpet appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival (via MSN). 'There is nothing that's more gratifying than when your kid receives praise. Nothing. No one could say anything to me that's better than that,' Cranston said. 'Her mom and I are just over the moon with her her work on it. She's a very hard working person, she grew up in it,' he added. 'So, it's in her bones. She's in it for the right reasons and she loves it,' he said, when he was asked about any advice he may have passed down along the way. 'Because I'm her dad, she picks up advice hopefully by the way I behave in this business and navigate my way through,' Cranston said. 'I don't ever say, "Now, young lady, here's some advice I'm going to give you." Kids don't want to hear that,' he joked. Dearden could be a candidate to land a Best Supporting Actress nomination when the Emmy nods are revealed next month. Taylor revealed in an interview with Gold Derby last month that it was, 'really trippy,' to still be filming the show while it was airing, a rarity for most streaming shows. 'We'd get texts from people saying like ah that one thing that happened and I'm like still at work going, 'No I just did something else.' Her character is neurodivergent second-year resident, and the actress herself is neurodivergent, adding it always 'bugged' her the way these characters are often portrayed. 'There is a show that will not be mentioned that I saw and I was like wow they're really trying to play autism there in a very unflattering light,' Rearden added. 'It's just I think what's frustrating is it is this idea of robots as opposed to humans and people who have a lot of things going on and yeah I mean it tends to be very one note and I'm I'm hoping that I'm doing a good job,' she said. The Pitt wrapped up its 15-episode first season in April, averaging over 10 million global viewers per episode, with a second season already ordered.

Hillary Clinton turns comments off after posting her take on LA riots

Hillary Clinton turned off comments after she fired a post to X condemning Donald Trump for deploying the National Guard to what she called 'peaceful demonstrations' in Los Angeles. The former Secretary of State and First Lady slammed Trump in the Tuesday afternoon post. ' California Governor Newsom didn't request the National Guard be deployed to his state following peaceful demonstrations. Trump sent them anyway. It's the first time in 60 years a president has made that choice,' she wrote. 'Trump's goal isn't to keep Californians safe. His goal is to cause chaos, because chaos is good for Trump,' she added. Many noted that Clinton turned off the comments on her post, not allowing anyone to reply to her opinion. However, they could still quote tweet and expressed their displeasure with the one-time Democrat nominee for president. 'A public figure and a fraud like herself shouldn't be able to lock her replies,' wrote one, tagging X CEO Elon Musk at the end. 'Turn on your replies. Let the world really see what we think about what you've got to say,' wrote another. Another asked: 'Ever notice that only leftists disable comments?' 'Nothing shouts accountability like limiting comments,' added another conservative. One more questioner asked what was on everyone's mind: 'Why are you hiding from comments?' Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth revealed the military will stay in Los Angeles for 60 days to combat violent 'rioters, looters and thugs'' during the immigration riots. The chaos began on Friday when anti-ICE protesters seized on a handful of police raids across the city, taking to the streets to burn cars and march against what they say are unfair deportations. Local business owners are outraged as destructive looters continue to target downtown stores as the protests rage on. President Donald Trump is deploying another 2,000 National Guard troops, along with 700 Marines, to LA today after Monday marked a fourth day of destructive protests. California has filed a lawsuit over the use of National Guard troops following the first deployment, telling reporters that Trump had 'trampled' the state's sovereignty. Trump claims the city would have been 'completely obliterated' if he had not deployed the Guard. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass appeared to threaten the looming World Cup as she begged Trump not to deport more migrants on Tuesday. Bass, speaking at a press conference, said the city's economy will 'collapse' if Trump deports more illegal migrants, and taunted him: 'Don't you want the World Cup to be a success for you?' She insisted the city is not 'in flames' but slammed vandals spraying graffiti and destroying businesses.
