NEW plans have finally been revealed for the reopening of the much-loved Tívoli World amusement park in Spain.
Located in Costa del Sol, Tívoli World closed back in 2020 due to financial constraints and the global Covid-19 pandemic.

But plans have been approved by authorities who met yesterday and will see if increase in size to include a large tourist complex with shops.
First images of the site reveal that it could have a large wheel and a free-fall tower and that the shopping are will have brands like Domino's Pizza, Forster's Hollywood, Rodilla or La Tagliatella, according to Sur in English.
These details will be confirmed at a later stage though.
There is also expected to be two new hotels.
However, the council has agreed that Tívoli will reopen before or alongside the complete complex.
In total, the park is expected to cost over €200million (£165million) to redevelop and estimated to create around 1000 new jobs.
As part of the agreement, Tivoli World will rehire previous employees - who over the past years have maintained and guarded the park whilst it has been closed to the public.
Many former fans of the park took to social media to express their joy at the news.
One user said: "It should be brought back bigger and more beautiful. Great."
Another added: "Itching to go back to Tivoli."
Kids can enter Diggerland for free with this trick
Tívoli World was formerly loved for being a family entertainment hub, having originally opened in 1972.
The first owner of the attraction - Dane Bent Olsen - dubbed the park as a "factory of illusions" according to Euro Weekly, with fireworks, a rollercoaster, a Chinese pagoda, a lake with boars and around 20 fountains that offered water, light and sound shows.
The Mayor, Juan Antonio Lara commented that it was a historic step and that "we have no time to waste".
"We're pulling out all the stops to fast-track the process," said Lara.

Tivoli World is around a half-an-hour drive from Malaga or about 40 minutes on the train.
According to Experience UK, the park is anticipated to reopen in 2028.
There are also a number of other great spots to explore surrounding the park including stunning sandy beaches such as Playa de los Álamos.
And if you are wanting another attraction for the family, just down the road is Aqualand Torremolinos - which is home to a range of different water slides, a large jacuzzi, children's paradise and will soon have speed racer slides too.
A popular beachfront theme park has also been forced to close twice a week.
Plus, a major U K theme park to get huge new land by 2027 with rollercoasters, kids rides and indoor attractions.

How JK Rowling became a lightning rod for attacks by pro-trans activists

These are dark times in the wizarding world. Stephen Fry, who narrated all seven of JK Rowling's Harry Potter audio books, has become the latest celebrity to lambast the author for her views on trans issues. Fry told the Show People podcast that Rowling 'has been radicalised by terfs' (a slur meaning 'transgender-exclusionary radical feminists') and described his former friend and colleague as a 'lost cause'. But Fry's censure won't deter the author. Rowling has spent the past five years fending off increasingly vitriolic attacks and even death threats as she became the chief spokesperson for women's rights – and the biggest lightning rod for attacks by pro-trans activists. It was in 2019 that Rowling began sharing her views publicly, initially by supporting other campaigners. In December of that year, she robustly defended Maya Forstater, a researcher locked in an employment discrimination battle for expressing gender-critical opinions. Rowling posted on Twitter: 'Dress however you please. Call yourself whatever you like. Sleep with any consenting adult who'll have you. Live your best life in peace and security. But force women out of their jobs for stating that sex is real? #IStandWithMaya #ThisIsNotADrill'. Dress however you please. Call yourself whatever you like. Sleep with any consenting adult who'll have you. Live your best life in peace and security. But force women out of their jobs for stating that sex is real? #IStandWithMaya #ThisIsNotADrill — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) December 19, 2019 Rowling progressed to leading the charge in 2020. In June, she posted a scathing tweet in response to an article about 'people who menstruate'. Rowling commented: 'I'm sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?' It prompted an online backlash in which her critics called her transphobic – an allegation she denied. 'People who menstruate.' I'm sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud? Opinion: Creating a more equal post-COVID-19 world for people who menstruate — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) June 6, 2020 Still, it wasn't entirely clear what was motivating her involvement until she published a lengthy and thoughtful essay on her website that same month. Rowling wrote that her interest in this subject actually went back two years: she had been closely following the debate, and reading books and articles by trans people, gender specialists, psychologists, doctors and more. Rowling explained that she also had a very personal interest. She revealed that she was a domestic abuse and sexual assault survivor, and that was part of her concern around the erosion of protected single-sex spaces. Rowling's remarkable candour is part of what makes her such an effective advocate, says her friend, fellow campaigner and Telegraph columnist Suzanne Moore. The pair first got in touch in 2020 – also an eventful year for Moore, who left The Guardian after 338 of its employees wrote a critical open letter in response to Moore's column about women's rights. Moore says of Rowling: 'Her experience of domestic violence, and her understanding of what it is to be poor, to be a single parent, to not to have access to services, that is a crucial aspect. Although she's incredibly rich and famous, a part of Jo will always be worrying about how to pay the next bill or afford childcare. That means she understands the vulnerability of others. I think people relate to that – it's a very human thing.' Rowling's emotional response is balanced, says Moore, by her conviction about the core issues, including 'that women and girls matter, and that children should not be medicalised. She sees this as one of the biggest medical scandals of the past decade.' Mandy Rhodes, editor of Holyrood magazine and a long-time campaigner for women's rights in Scotland, admits she was initially sceptical about Rowling's involvement. 'I did have that moment of thinking 'Oh, it's someone very famous jumping on the bandwagon'. But within days I understood how committed she was.' Crucially, argues Moore, Rowling 'didn't come into this for her own ego'. Nor was it a fashionable position to take; quite the opposite. 'She could have just sat back and enjoyed her massive success,' says Moore. 'She chose to take a stand. You see all these men like Stephen Fry or Boy George coming at her and they end up looking absolutely stupid. She's what everybody fears: a woman who doesn't give a f---. She doesn't need to be liked – she's already loved. She's a rock star.' Rhodes explains: 'Many of us who put our heads above the parapet were then in the position of trying to save our jobs or keep our sanity because of the criticism being levelled at us. Jo was in a more powerful position and she used it. That really elevated everything.' In 2022, Rowling took action by funding a women-only support centre, Beira's Place in Edinburgh, for victims of sexual violence. 'There was no such single-sex service before,' she said in an interview. 'I know that was well worth doing because of the number of women who are coming through our doors.' Over three years she has donated £1 million to fund running costs, including a staff of nine counselling support workers who have provided more than 6,000 hours of support to 700 women and girls.' Moore visited the centre with Rowling and was struck by how 'Jo sat back and listened to the experienced staff explaining why this was important. That said a lot to me.' Rowling has also regularly challenged controversial legislation in Scotland. In 2022 she condemned a bill that would make it easier for trans people to legally change gender, and in 2024 she criticised a new hate crime act by posting her views on X and challenging Scottish police to arrest her. 'As a writer, she passionately believes in free speech,' says Moore. 'That's something that her critics don't necessarily understand about the arguments she's making.' That same year, Rowling leapt to the defence of resigning Labour MP Rosie Duffield, who had previously been criticised by Keir Starmer for saying that only women have a cervix. The author wrote on X that Duffield 'was one of the few female Labour politicians with the guts to stand up for vulnerable women and girls.' Rosie Duffield was one of the few female Labour politicians with the guts to stand up for vulnerable women and girls, while self-satisfied numbskulls like you fought to give away their rights and spaces. TL;DR Keep her name out of your mouth. — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) September 28, 2024 Rowling has also weighed in on women's sport. In 2024 she posted a photograph of Olympic Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, saying that it showed a man 'enjoying the distress of a woman he's just punched in the head'. Rosie Duffield was one of the few female Labour politicians with the guts to stand up for vulnerable women and girls, while self-satisfied numbskulls like you fought to give away their rights and spaces. TL;DR Keep her name out of your mouth. — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) September 28, 2024 Moore says that while many women share such concerns, voicing them puts you in a very lonely position. Even Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, who owe their fame to Rowling's Harry Potter movie franchise, have publicly disagreed with her on trans issues, as has Fantastic Beasts star Eddie Redmayne. 'People are hurling abuse at you constantly,' adds Moore. 'This issue came to a head during lockdown, when you felt really isolated. Jo is absolutely the person you want beside you in the trenches: her personal courage, her cleverness and her funniness keep you going.' They were both highly amused, says Moore, when a lunch that Rowling organised for campaigners (including Forstater, Prof Kathleen Stock and Julie Bindel) at the River Café in west London in April 2022 became the focus of rabid attention. 'Women have pasta and wine and suddenly it's a national news story! Actually what she's done is bring people together from across the political spectrum and foster real camaraderie.' Rhodes was delighted to meet Rowling at the Edinburgh launch, in 2024, for the book of essays The Women Who Wouldn't Wheesht (Rowling contributed a piece). 'At first I didn't recognise her – she hadn't made an effort to stand out,' says Rhodes. 'I tapped her on the shoulder and said, 'Hi, I'm Mandy', and she immediately said, 'It's so amazing to meet you', and was actually quite deferential to me, which was very kind. I don't think you can exaggerate how horrible and painful it felt being in Scotland at the forefront of all this. It meant a lot to all of us that she was there.' It also helps to have a globally best-selling author articulating your message. Reflecting on Rowling's 2020 personal essay, Rhodes says: 'What she wrote was so simple, so easily understood, it cut through all the nonsense.' Moore thinks that the relentless criticism does sometimes get to Rowling, 'but she jokes to us about it and she stays amazingly calm online. There's all sorts of stuff she could say to someone like Stephen and she doesn't. It's a relief seeing 'there's a woman who cannot be put in her place'. She's inspirational. I'm confident we can keep fighting back, as long as we have people like Jo fighting with us.'

Gordon Ramsay reveals the 'scary' moment he passed out while cradling son Oscar just moments after his birth and admits 'my wife didn't want me in there'

Gordon Ramsay has revealed the dramatic moment he fainted in the delivery room during the birth of his son Oscar. The celebrity chef, 58, wasn't present for the births of his first four children - Megan, 26, twins Jack and Holly, 25, and Tilly, 23 - as his wife Tana, 50, insisted he stayed out of the delivery room. She didn't want him to see her in labour or experience the raw reality of childbirth firsthand. However, in 2019, Gordon was by her side for the arrival of their son Oscar, now six, delivered via C-section. Yet what was meant to be a joyful moment - with Ed Sheeran 's music playing in the background - took a chaotic turn when the chef fainted while cradling his newborn son. Appearing on the Smartless podcast, Gordon said: 'Let's make one thing absolutely clear, my wife didn't want me in there. 'First of all, she said, "I want my mum and your mum in there, you're not going to see me in that state, that side of the curtain, get out of there." That was her decision and I had to respect that decision. 'When I did final arrive in the theatre for our fifth baby I f****** collapsed like a wimp! I blacked out holding Oscar in the air. 'He was coming through the sun roof so there was a lot of commotion going on. 'They said, "What do you want to listen to?" So I said, "Can you play Ed Sheeran?" So they started playing Ed, they turned up the volume, I can hear all these noises, all of a sudden I see two more doctors dive in, I look to the floor and there was blood everywhere. 'They popped him out and then they came straight over to me and I went, "Woah, woah, s***." I sat back and I collapsed like a f****** idiot.' Gordon and his wife Tana went on to welcome their sixth child in November 2023. At the time, he posted a heartwarming photo of himself kissing his newborn on the head as Tana cradled him in her arms. Sharing the announcement on Instagram, Gordon said the birth was an 'amazing birthday present', as his birthday is on November 8. He wrote: 'What an amazing birthday present please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper!! One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Done.' Tana also shared her own post, saying the Ramsay family had been 'blessed' with their new arrival. She wrote: 'It's been a nerve wracking 9 months but we've made it and we have been blessed with this little bundle. Ramsay family definitely complete. Jesse James Ramsay we love you so much ❤️'. The couple, who married in 1996, kept Tana's latest pregnancy a secret. However, back in September, Gordon admitted he was under pressure from Tana to have a sixth child but said he was against the idea. Speaking to Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett on the Dish podcast, Gordon confessed: 'I've got a little secret… Tana wants another one.' But he admitted that he is reluctant to have another baby, saying the family would need 'two buses' and that he would be older than the other parents at school. He said: 'It's like going to school, going out for dinner in two buses. And secondly, I'm going to be the oldest f***er at school. "Who's your grandad?" 'And what about sports day? The egg and spoon race. What am I going to do? So, I'd love another one, but no.' Gordon also spoke about how his youngest child, Oscar, is quickly following in his father's footsteps after complaining about the food at his school during his first week. He said: 'He didn't want to wear his blazer. He said, "Dad, it's too f***ing itchy." And he said, "the food's s***". 'I said, son, BYO. He said, "what does that mean?" I said, "bring your f***ing own." So he's got his own lunchbox, it's all prepped, he's got his finger sandwiches.' Despite being unwilling to grow his brood, Gordon admitted that his fathering skills have improved with each kid. He explained: 'Everything you did wrong first time round, you do so much better. He's growing up at such a rate of knots. He's like a little adult at four because he's got four big siblings that he answers to.' Gordon admitted during the coronavirus pandemic that Tana was keen to expand their family, wanting to use the opportunity of lockdown to start trying. Speaking to Jimmy Fallon, he said: 'Literally two hours ago our prime minister has announced we are in lockdown now until the frigging 15th of February.

EXCLUSIVE Jamie Dornan's wife Amelia Warner gives rare insight into marriage with her 'humble and funny' husband and why their children look set to follow in the actor's footsteps

's wife Amelia Warner has given a rare insight into the couple's private family life together. The 50 Shades of Grey star and the musician, both 43, have been married since 2013 and are parents to daughters Dulcie, 11, Elva, nine and five-year-old Alberta. Speaking to MailOnline, Amelia told how she believes at least one of their children will follow in their parents footsteps and get into showbusiness. 'I think the chances are high,' she said. 'I think that one of them will end up doing something in the industry, who knows? 'They're still quite young, and I think at that age they're still forming, but I think definitely at least one [of them will] I don't know what they'll do. I don't know what field.' But Amelia admitted she does worry about the rejection they might face, which comes with being in the industry. 'I always have mixed feelings about that because in some ways it's really hypocritical, because for me and my husband, we've had amazing opportunities, and amazing careers, and we have a wonderful life,' she said. 'So, I feel it wouldn't be fair for me to say no, you can't do it. A lot of our friends are from the industry so they'd be around people who can help them work, which would make it a bit easier, but it's hard. 'There's a lot of setbacks and rejections, and there are various things are difficult, but it's also incredible, and I would always want them to pursue whatever they want to pursue. I would never try and put them off anything.' Amelia, also known by her stage name Slow Moving Millie, added that her eldest daughter is working out that her dad is famous. 'My eldest – this was years ago – but she said, 'Oh Daddy really has a lot of friends. Every time we go out, people always come up to him.' 'She thought all these people were all his mates coming up and saying hello. I'm sure there is an awareness, but she won't always talk about it,' she said. Gushing about Jamie, she added: 'I think anyone that meets him thinks that [he is humble]. He's just very humble, funny, down-to-earth and a great guy. Many people forget very quickly.' Regarding her stunning good looks, Amelia insisted she has never gone under the knife but wouldn't be opposed to it in the future. 'I'm open to everything. I also think having daughters there's that extra [pressure]. I'm quite conscious of trying not to present anything to them that I wouldn't normally do, or that's not natural,' she said. It comes after Jamie made a very cheeky revelation about his sex life while talking to Nick Grimshaw at a Diet Coke event late last year. The Irish actor took on the role of an ambassador for the drinks brand with the campaign encouraging fans to proudly take ownership of their unique tastes, personal interests and own their Diet Coke break moment. And as host Nick asked The Fifty Shades star to reveal his 'optimum Diet Coke moment' Jamie appeared to hint at a cheeky response. Agreeing with the radio host that a Diet Coke on holiday is the best, he then added: 'Or in the morning after a sport,' he said in a playful manner to much laughter. Jamie - who's been married to composer Amelia Warner for 11 years - continued: 'It is quite nice after that,' as the audience chuckled. 'I'm also a golfer, so a nice one after golf.'
