FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas baseball continues a 10-game home stand this weekend with a three-game series against Charlotte.
The Razorbacks (7-1) won't hit the road again until they open SEC play at Ole Miss in mid-March. Dave Van Horn is hopeful that the next two weeks will provide the coaching staff with valuable lessons on which players can be relied upon when the schedule gets more difficult.
"We need to find out a lot about some guys. We need to get some guys rolling. You guys need to show us what to do a little bit," Van Horn said after the Razorbacks' 14-3 win over Grambling Tuesday.
Arkansas will be without starting pitcher Gage Wood against the 49ers (4-3). The junior righty suffered a shoulder injury last week in his start against Michigan, but Van Horn believes Wood will only miss a few weeks. Landon Beidelschies will replace him in the weekend rotation.
