Multi-million dollar mansion of entrepreneur and his former TV producer wife is stormed by heavily armed police as part of 'money-laundering operation'
A high profile millionaire couple have had their glitzy $27million mansion raided by organised crime detectives as part of a multi-agency investigation into unexplained wealth.
Heavily armed officers from NSW Police's anti-gang taskforce executed a no-knock warrant on a Bellevue Hill home in Sydney 's east owned by former A Current Affair bureau chief Stephanie Jendegian and her entrepreneur husband Garrett on February 6.
The raid was conducted as part of a joint investigation between the Organised Crime Squad and the NSW Crime Commission dubbed Strike Force Candice.
Police seized a mobile phone and documentation during the raid, a spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
Investigations under Strike Force Candice are ongoing.
No arrests or charges have laid been laid against the Jendegians and there is no suggestion the couple are the primary targets of the taskforce.
It's understood the home was raided due to alleged affiliations with others being pursued by the broader investigation, The Australian reported.
Daily Mail Australia does not suggest that either Stephanie or Garrett Jandegian committed any wrongdoing.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted the Jandegians for comment.
Ms Jandegian is a former dancer on Network Ten's reality show So You Think You Can Dance and spent four years as A Current Affair's Sydney bureau chief.
She left Channel Nine in 2020 and currently is an advisory board member for the Starlight Foundation.
Her husband co-founded alkaline water venture Aqualove in 2017.
While he's no longer associated with Aqualove, he continues to serve as sales director for rapid antigen test and PPE business Pharma Soul, which enjoyed strong demand during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Jandegians purchased their Bellevue Hill home in 2022 after it went on offer at an eye-watering $27m in what was widely acknowledged as that year's biggest acquisition in Sydney's most expensive postcode.
The country-style mansion with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a pool and tennis court was formerly owned by ex-ASX chief Dominic Stevens.
The lavish purchase was the millennial couple's second big buy of 2022, following the $5.8million purchase of a Vaucluse home earlier in the year.
The couple is also rumoured to have snatched up a second $15.1m property in Bellevue Hill the following year.
More recently, the Jandegians bought a $4.2m luxury apartment in the sought-after Sirius building overlooking Sydney Harbour.

Woman tortured and raped by evil ex for 13 years finally escaped after meeting kind stranger
Michael Christie terrorised Emma Louise Goddard after meeting her when she was just 15-years-old. A woman who was raped and tortured by her sick ex during his 13-year reign of terror finally escaped after breaking down to a stranger in the street. Vile Michael Christie, 52, brutally attacked Emma Goddard, 36, for over a decade before she found the courage to leave him. The mum said she had "accepted" the abuse as part of her daily life until a kind local woman asked her about her black eyes. Speaking to the Record, Emma-Louise revealed the chance encounter led to the woman persuading her to phone the police. She said: "The abuse had been going on so long that I was just going through the motions. I has accepted it as part of my life. "But a woman stopped me in the street one day after noticing my black eyes and asked me if I was okay. "I guess I was just ready to open up. I told her everything and handed me her phone so I could call the police and woman's aid. "He was arrested that night." Speaking on her horror ordeal at the hands of Evil Christie, Emma-Louise said: "I was just a teenager when I met him. He made sure I was very quickly estranged from my friends and family as he took control of my life. Then he started the sexual and physical abuse. "He would rape me when I was sleeping and then continue doing so when I woke up. "He was constantly attacking me and the neighbours would hear and phone the police but he had me under his spell and I never said anything when they arrived." "I was completely terrified and so isolated that I just felt powerless." Emma-Louise suffered a broken collar-bone, fingers and toes at Christie's hands but said two episodes of abuse terrified her more than any others - when she was locked up and separately subjected to a torture method known as waterboarding. She continued: "We were living in a flat in Clydebank in the winter of 2010, but he got some work in Thurso cutting down Christmas trees. "So he decided to lock me up for four days and he wouldn't let me have a phone, so I was trapped in there. "I didn't have much food and was completely terrified. If I had some sort of medical emergency I would have had no way of getting help. "Another day in 2014, he attacked me and I was sure he was going to kill me. "He used handcuffs to chain me to a radiator in the bathroom and stuck a towel over my face and poured water over it. "I've since learned this is called waterboarding. At the time, I thought I was about to die." Emma-Louise said Christie would even force her to move to different addresses when neighbours noticed something was wrong to avoid attention of the cops. But after he was arrested, Emma-Louise faced an agonising wait for justice due to delays in the case going to court amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Christie was finally found guilty in April this year after a trial in Glasgow where he was convicted of multiple rapes and assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement between 2003 and 2016. The brute was sentenced to 16 years in i n prison on May 12. Reacting to the sentence, Emma-Louise said: "It took a long time for him to be convicted but thankfully he was given a long sentence by the courts. "But the ordeal he put me through was far more punishing and I need to live with the trauma for the rest of my life. "People like him don't care about the consequences of their actions, but I hope any women reading this who are being abused realise that it just takes one phone call - like the one I made the day I met that woman - and everything can change." Detective Chief Inspector Jennifer McCulloch, of Ayrshire CID said: 'We acknowledge the sentencing of Christie, who will now face the consequences of actions. 'We remain committed to thoroughly investigating those responsible for these types of crimes and bringing them to justice. 'Any form of sexual abuse is a serious criminal offence and is a priority for Police Scotland. We encourage anyone with concerns about abuse, or a potential victim, to contact police immediately.'

Australian television personalities face massive salary cuts as networks slash costs amid financial squeeze
Some of Australia's best-known TV personalities are bracing for major pay cuts as the nation's biggest networks prepare for sweeping budget reductions in a bid to curb ballooning costs. Despite barely appearing on screen, several high-profile stars are cashing in six-figure salaries - with some earning more per minute of air time than the average Aussie makes in an entire month. But all that is about to change. Channel Seven, Nine, Ten and the ABC are now under pressure to implement drastic cost-saving measures as advertising revenue continues to plummet - triggering a major shake-up across their national newsrooms and on-air talent rosters, according to The Australian. A senior Nine insider has confirmed that major contracts are under review, with executives being forced to justify every dollar spent amid pressure from stakeholders. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Among the most high-profile names under scrutiny is veteran presenter Tracy Grimshaw, who has barely appeared on air since stepping down as host of A Current Affair in late 2022. The 64-year-old TV legend has reportedly been on a rolling $500,000 contract ever since - half of her previous $1million salary - but has only appeared on screen once in the last six months. Tracy's 16-minute interview with advertising mogul John Singleton translates to a staggering $16,000 per minute of broadcast time - prompting speculation within the network that Grimshaw's future contract is unlikely to be renewed under current terms. While some argue that Tracy is Nine's most powerful interviewer, the optics for such a salary for such minimal output is raising red flags internally. 'It isn't simply a matter of saying "the bean counters have won" – the cost of every minute of television is being scrutinised because the company needs to justify every cent that is spent to shareholders,' the source said. 'The good old days of keeping people on the books with nothing to do so they don't end up on a rival network are over.' Meanwhile, Karl Stefanovic - who reportedly earns $2.8million a year to front the Today show - is said to be lobbying for an extension to his lucrative contract. But with bosses under the pump to tighten the belt, even Karl's future deal at the network may come with conditions. Meanwhile, Karl Stefanovic - who reportedly earns $2.8million a year to front Today - is said to be lobbying for an extension to his lucrative contract Meanwhile over at the ABC, Former 7.30 host Leigh Sales is believed to be earning close to $400,000 a year, despite stelling down from her role in mid-2022 Despite his salary, Karl is considered one of the more cost-effective stars on a per-minute basis. With his weekday morning appearances, his pay averages out to $58 per minute, compared to co-host Sarah Abo. Meanwhile, over at the ABC, Former 7.30 host Leigh Sales is believed to be earning close to $400,000 a year, despite stepping down from her role in mid-2022. This year, Sales has only made one major-on air appearance - a 14-minute interview with ABC election analyst Antony Green - plus brief 30-second intros to episodes of Australian Story, amounting to roughly $8,000 per episode. However, ABC bosses are said to be more relaxed about her deal.
