It just wouldn't be a night of Met Gala after parties without Janelle Monáe. Two years ago, she hosted the annual Boom Boom Room after party, where she performed atop the bar in a bedazzled bikini. This year, she took her hosting efforts to the Public Hotel's lower level club Artspace for a late-night bash post-Met.
After wearing a Thom Browne look on the Met red carpet, complete with an optical illusion outer layer that she took off to reveal a deconstructed suit, Monáe slipped into another Browne look (this one, which involved nipple pasties, was a tad more revealing).

The party, titled 'A Phenomenal Affair,' featured DJ sets by Kaytranada, DJ Kitty Cash and DJ Miss Milan and drew guests such as Chance the Rapper, Padma Lakshmi, Leon Bridges, Yara Shahidi, Bebe Rexha, the Rev. Al Sharpton, Willow Smith, Caleb McLaughlin and Ryan Destiny.
Cocktails by Lalo tequila and Belvedere Organic Vodka flowed, while 7th Street Burgers arrived to sustain energy into the wee hours of Tuesday morning.
The party scene stretched across Manhattan, with parties at The Mark hotel uptown, the Apres Met bash down at WSA, Met Gala cohost A$AP Rocky's party at Jean's and Richie Akiva's party at Casa Cipriani.

(AP) — New England Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs participated in his first offseason practice since video appeared on social media showing him passing what appeared to be a bag of pink crystals to women on a boat. Diggs attended Monday's voluntary practice session six days after videos were posted online of him chatting with three women before producing the substance. It wasn't clear what the substance was. An NFL spokesman said the league would not comment, and Patriots coach Mike Vrabel said the team would handle the matter internally. Advertisement Diggs, 31, has attended multiple events this offseason with hip-hop star Cardi B — including the Met Gala and a Boston Celtics-New York Knicks playoff game. The Patriots have two remaining optional workouts on Tuesday and Thursday as part of the spring organized team activity window allotted to each NFL team. Both of those remaining sessions are closed to the media. The players have a mandatory three-day minicamp beginning on June 9. Diggs signed with the Patriots this offseason, getting a three-year, $69 million deal that guarantees him $26 million. Miley Cyrus Says Dad Billy Ray Is 'Finding Happiness' in His New Relationship With Elizabeth Hurley

The singer has been in promo mode as she celebrates the release of her new album Something Beautiful, and during a recent stop by The New York Times' The Interview podcast, Miley opened up about her relationship with her dad and even addressed Billy Ray's relationship with Elizabeth Hurley. Speaking about her sometimes complex relationship with her parents, Miley said that she 'took on some of [her] mom's hurt' when Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray divorced in 2022, which led to her estrangement form her father. Miley didn't even thank Billy Ray in her Grammys accptence speech, fueling more rumors of a Cyrus family feud. But now that her mom is married to actor Dominic Purcell and Billy Ray is dating Elizabeth, Miley says she feels like her 'adult self has caught up.' She continued, 'My mom is like so in love with my stepdad Dom, who I also just completely adore. And now that my dad, I see him finding happiness outside of that too, I can love them both as individuals instead of as a kind of, you know, a parental pairing.' 'At first, it's hard,' Miley said of seeing her parents back in the dating pool. 'The little kid in you reacts before the adult in you and go, 'Yes, that's your dad, but that's just another person that deserves to be in his bliss and be happy.'' This show of public support comes about a month after Miley commented on the family feud and announced that she and her father had reconciled. 'My dad and I have had our challenges over the years. Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. I'm at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing,' she wrote on her Instagram Stories. Billy hasn't commented on his renewed family relationships, but he has been very public with his new love. Jonathan Anderson will lead fashion at Dior

Jonathan Anderson has been appointed creative director of women's, men's and haute couture at LVMH-owned Dior, according to a Monday press release. Anderson succeeds Maria Grazia Chiuri, who exited her role as creative director for Christian Dior Haute Couture and Dior Women last week following her final couture show in Rome. Anderson, formerly creative director of LVMH-owned Loewe, was appointed artistic director of Dior Men in May. This is the first time all three Dior collections will be under a single creative vision since the house's founder, Christian Dior, helmed the combined roles, per the release. Anderson's combined role at Dior signals a major vote of confidence regarding his ability to recreate the success he brought to Loewe. The brand sponsored last year's Met Gala and ranked consistently high on the Lyst Index, during Anderson's tenure, and he was named one of Time Magazine's most influential people in 2024. 'Jonathan Anderson is one of the greatest creative talents of his generation,' Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH, said in the release. 'His incomparable artistic signature will be a crucial asset in writing the next chapter of the history of the House of Dior.' Anderson will present his first collection, for Dior Men, in Paris on June 27. In the release, Anderson thanked Christian Dior Couture's chairman and CEO of Delphine Arnault, as well as LVMH Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, 'for their trust and loyalty over the years,' and said it was an honor to join the company in the combined role. 'I have always been inspired by the rich history of this House, its depth, and empathy,' Anderson said. 'I look forward to working alongside its legendary Ateliers to craft the next chapter of this incredible story.' Prior to joining Loewe, Anderson was focused on his namesake JW Anderson label, founded in 2008. LVMH acquired a minority stake in 2013 — the same year Anderson became Loewe's creative director. 'I have followed [Anderson's] career with great interest since he joined the LVMH group over ten years ago,' Delphine Arnault said in the release. 'I am convinced that he will bring a creative and modern vision to our House, inspired by the fabulous story of Monsieur Dior and the codes he created.' So far this year, the fashion industry has seen more than a dozen creative director changes, including last month's appointment of Pierpaolo Piccioli at Balenciaga. This is the fourth creative director appointment within the past year at LVMH. In March, the company appointed former Proenza Schouler duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez as joint creative directors at Loewe following Anderson's departure. Last year, Michael Rider took over Celine from Hedi Slimane in October, and Sarah Burton nabbed the top artistic spot at Givenchy in September, following the January exit of Matthew M. Williams. LVMH revenue has lagged against a backdrop of tariff uncertainty and a widespread luxury slowdown. First quarter revenue, reported in April, was down 2% to 20.3 billion euros, or about $23 billion at the time. Fashion and leather goods, the company's largest division, fell 4% to 10.1 billion euros.
