An intense Indian adaptation of the acclaimed Israeli series 'Magpie,' KanKhajura brings a uniquely Indian emotional depth and rawness to the narrative. The series delves into the lives of two estranged brothers forced to face their darkest memories, as the boundary between reality and recollection begins to fade. Sarah Jane Dias, who plays Nisha, shared, 'There's something deeply unsettling about KanKhajura, not just the story, but what it forces you to confront- guilt, family, and memory.
Nisha is a character who's trying to hold it all together while everything inside her is falling apart. It wasn't easy to play a character that is so nuanced and layered, but it was empowering.' Produced by Ajay Rai and helmed by director Chandan Arora, 'KanKhajura' features Mohit Raina, Roshan Mathew, Sarah Jane Dias, Mahesh Shetty, Ninad Kamat, Trinetra Haldar, Heeba Shah, and Usha Nadkarni.
This series is an Indian adaptation licensed from yes Studios, originally created by Adam Bizanski, Omri Shenhar, and Dana Eden, with production by Donna and Shula Productions. 'KanKhajura' will premiere on Sony LIV starting May 30.

Punjab Kings' batter Priyansh Arya scripts massive milestone in IPL 2025 final
Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], June 3 (ANI): Punjab Kings' young sensation Priyansh Arya shattered Devdutt Padikkal's record for the most runs by an uncapped Indian batter in a debut Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Priyansh came out to open for Punjab in the final of the 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the world's largest cricket stadium, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In pursuit of Bengaluru's daunting 191-run target, Priyansh provided a quick-fire start and struck 24 from 19 deliveries, laced with four boundaries. He finished the season with a tally of 475 runs from 17 appearances at 27.94. The 24-year-old surpassed Padikkal's tally of 473 for most runs by an uncapped Indian batter in the debut IPL season. It took a stunner from Phil Salt at the edge of the boundary rope off Josh Hazlewood on the final delivery of the fifth over. He tried to flick the ball away for a maximum, but his attempt was intercepted by the English top-order batter. Salt released the ball in the air before crossing the boundary rope and then returned to the field to complete the catch. Even though Priyansh provided the required tempo, Punjab failed to gun down Bengaluru's competitive total. Throughout the chase, Punjab kept itself in the affair but kept losing wickets at regular intervals, which hurt their chances of lifting their maiden title. At the end, PBKS fell six runs short, which ensured that the wait for the title continued for Punjab, who reached their first final in 11 years under the exceptional leadership of Shreyas Iyer and head coach Ricky Ponting. While it was agony for Punjab, skipper Rajat Patidar steered RCB to its first trophy in 18 years. With the end of adding the coveted IPL title to RCB's trophy cabinet, the special moment was met by tears in Virat Kohli's eyes. (ANI)

IPL 2025: How Bengaluru celebrated RCB's maiden victory over Punjab Kings
Royal Challengers Bengaluru bagged their maiden IPL title after beating Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 3. More than 91,000 fans attended the iconic 132,000-capacity stadium, with a sea of Bengaluru's red and Kohli's jersey number 18 dominating the stands as chants of "Kohli, Kohli" kept ringing throughout the stadium during the game. When RCB clinched victory, fans celebrated, while King Kohli collapsed on the ground after the win and then got up to be hugged by his teammates as the crowd celebrated their hero. This was RCB's maiden win in the 18 years of the Indian Premier League. RCB reached three finals previously, but all of them ended in defeat. Videos of fireworks across Bengaluru were observed in videos that surfaced on the Internet. An X user posted the same, with the caption,"Bengaluru is celebrating in style." Videos from ANI show fans celebrating with fireworks, flags, and chants on the streets of Bengaluru. In another development, RCB skipper reacted to the maiden IPL title win. "It is really special for me, for Virat Kohli, and all the fans. Those who have supported for years, they all deserve it. It's a great opportunity for me and a great learning for me to captain Kohli, he deserves it more than anyone else," Patidar was quoted as saying, according to a PTI report.
