Angel Reese Gifts Every Sky Teammate Before Caitlin Clark Game

Yahoo13-05-2025

Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese parlayed her incredible prowess on the basketball court last season into a myriad of endorsement deals and business ventures away from the game.
The WNBA's leader in rebounds per contest made the All-Star team and was second in Rookie of the Year Award voting, but she continued to pull together accolades this offseason.

Reese started her own podcast to connect with her fans, but she also signed with brands like Reebok, Amazon, Beats by Dre and more. This sudden spike in notoriety landed her a spot on the cover of Vogue Magazine and another appearance at the Met Gala in New York City.

The second-year forward is still highly focused on basketball, however. Her and her Chicago Sky teammates are just days away from their season opener against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.
To lighten the mood after what was surely a serious practice, Reese surprised her teammates with a gift. She leaned on her deal with Beats by Dre and gave each one of her teammates a Beats Pill.
This kind of recognition and appreciation from a star player can really help with the camaraderie of a team. When a group of players is united before they head into a matchup, they tend to play better, and this is the exact blueprint that Reese was following by giving her teammates a sliver of her endorsement deal.

Things will get serious in a hurry, however, as the Sky play in a big time game against the Fever to open the 2025 campaign on May 17. The league has pitted these two rising teams against each other as rivals, which makes sense both geographically and in terms of where these two teams stand.
Clark and the Fever are trying to prove that they belong in the upper tier of WNBA teams. The Sky are attempting to make a push for the postseason this year, so both franchises have plenty to show the league and its fans on opening night.
