The update allows entry at all UAE ports without prior visa applications.
Previously, only Indian nationals with valid visas or residency in the United States, United Kingdom, and European Union were eligible for visa-on-arrival.
The change facilitates easier travel for Indian nationals, particularly families of UAE residents. Those not eligible for visa-on-arrival have access to 11 visit visa options, including tourist, student, job-seeking and multi-entry visas.

Japan's Resilience Lunar Mission Failed
