Pet owners love to dress up their furry friends in winter for two reasons.
One, obviously, to keep them warm. And two, because they look so darn cute.
ALDI has come out with the perfect product that's just as ridiculous looking as it is practical - and we're already obsessed.

'I really outdid myself with this one!'
Aussie TikTok creator @dedikatedlifestyle has taken to the app this week to share her latest purchase at ALDI - the new Dog Pom Pom Beanie.
'Me the moment ALDI releases dog beanies,' her video says, showing her two dachshunds wearing the pieces.
ALDI's Dog Pom Pom beanies come in pink, blue and green, and are currently being sold in two flexible sizes - small and medium.
'I fear I really outdid myself with this one!' she captioned the video.
'Going to ALDI IMMEDIATELY after work'
Pet owners in the comments were obsessed with the item, labelling it a must-have for the chilly season.
'Omg… even just for the photos!!' said one person.
'I'm going right now!!' another agreed.
'STOP!!! I need these,' said another.
'Going to ALDI IMMEDIATELY after work,' another person said.
'The cutest thing ever!!!' a fifth added.
'My Frenchie would simply destroy this'
But, a reminder, it's not necessarily going to work for everyone - unless you want an angry puppy, and fluff all over the house.
'My greyhound is going to hate me for wanting to buy this,' said one commenter.
'My dog absolutely LOATHED ME after putting this one,' another said from experience.
'My dachshund would never wear it, he'd probably like to chew it though,' a third agreed.
'My Frenchie would simply destroy this,' said another person.

Why we should normalise baby showers for dads

Don't miss out on the headlines from Parenting. Followed categories will be added to My News. There's a sweet little baby shower video doing the rounds on Instagram right now, and I haven't stopped thinking about it. The adorable video was shared by @themelaninatedmomma, a heavily pregnant US woman showing a giant mountain of nappies, wipes and baby gifts stacked high in her living room, gifts from a surprise baby shower thrown for her husband by his workmates. And look, I don't care how emotionally dead inside you are, if that doesn't warm your cold, crusty heart, I don't know what will. Want to join the family? Sign up to our Kidspot newsletter for more stories like this. Dads deserve celebrating too The video itself is wholesome, but it's the comments that really drive it home: 'My husband's coworkers did this when I was pregnant. He came home all kinds of excited - mainly women, one made a cake, another did an amazing gift basket full of necessities. I will never forget how they included him in the baby excitement too!' 'Wait can we stop and acknowledge and really enjoy the fact that they threw a baby shower for their male coworker because they are supporting his fatherhood. This is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! Fathers need to be part of the transition too!! Yes!!!!!' 'We forget that the dads need spoiling too. I know this is a bunch of wipes and nappies but it's one less thing for them to think about for a few months.' And this gem: 'We had one of these for a male coworker - it was a blast watching this big guy holding up the little garments. I highly recommend!' Honestly, what's not to love about Big Kev from logistics delicately holding a Bonds Wondersuit and pretending not to cry? RELATED: Matty J's candid conversation on changing gender roles How beautiful it is to see a father celebrated too. Source: @themelaninatedmomma Modern dads are all in Here's the thing. Baby showers for dads shouldn't be weird. Or rare. Or played off as some ironic 'dadchelor' party featuring cigars and a nappy-themed drinking game. They should be a thing - a meaningful, supportive, slightly silly rite of passage that says: mate, you're about to become someone's dad, and we're here for it. Because fatherhood? It's a big deal. And while society is getting better at letting dads show up for the emotional labour of parenting, we still don't do a great job of showing up for them. We forget that the transition to parenthood doesn't just belong to the person carrying the baby. It's a seismic shift for dads too. The midnight panic-googling. The 'is this car seat meant to wobble like that?' anxiety. The quiet moment where it dawns on them that a tiny person will soon rely on them for everything. That stuff deserves a cake. And maybe a three-pack of muslin wraps. The modern dad is all in. He's doing the nappy changes, the swaddling, the midnight feeds. He's packing the nappy bag (badly, but still). So why do we still act like the countdown to parenthood is a spectator sport for him? RELATED: Sam Wood's fatherhood advice is way too real Let's normalise baby showers for dads Let them unwrap bottle sterilisers with genuine enthusiasm. Let them try to guess what a nipple shield is. Let them awkwardly pin bibs to a clothesline strung across the tea room. Because as much as we laugh at the idea of Alan from accounting playing 'Guess the Baby Food,' we're also giving him a moment. A marker. A way of saying: this huge, wonderful, terrifying thing is happening to you too. And let's be honest, it's not just about gifts (though no one's turning down a bulk box of Huggies). It's about the symbolism. The support. The team huddle before game day. We've done a lot of work in recent years to shift how we see modern fatherhood. Dads aren't 'helping' anymore - they're parenting. Properly. And that deserves to be recognised, celebrated, and yes, showered. So next time your mate, brother, barista or boss announces they're about to become a dad, don't just slap them on the back and say, 'Good luck, mate.' Throw him a bloody baby shower. Let the big guy hold up the tiny socks. Let the office mums go rogue with a gift hamper. Let it be fun, supportive, and full of nappies. Because parenthood doesn't start in the delivery room - it starts with community. And everyone deserves to feel the love, right from day one. Even Big Kev. Kmart releases popular furniture item for $85

A brand new $85 product from Kmart has caught the eye of shoppers before even hitting stores. The Kmart Expanding Chair is yet to be released by the popular budget retailer, both in store and online, but it dropped in a small number of stores three weeks before it was due to hit shelves, sending social media users into a frenzy. The 12kg chair, which comes compacted before expanding as per the name, retails for $85 and comes in a green corduroy or a white fluffy fabric. TikTok user @kittysaltyy posted a video of the hot ticket item when she initially snapped one up, as well as a 24-hour update. 'As far as my review goes, it is super solid. Very heavy, it seems to be holding its shape well,' she said. 'I wouldn't necessarily say run to go get one — it's not that great but I kinda like it.' She said when she purchased it, she thought it was going to be a full sized armchair, but her cats loved it and it was comfortable. She said it was cute and liked having something closer to the floor. In response to some questions from fellow social media users, the TikTok creator said the chair didn't have a smell of any kind and the cover came off so it could be washed. Many social media users were excited by the idea. 'Keen to see how it turns out,' one person said. Another added: 'I can't find it on their website! I need it.' 'OMG running to get one for my cats. Thank you,' another cat owner commented. Someone else mentioned: 'I cant wait to see. I'm forever seeing these on ads so I love that Kmart has jumped on the trend!!' 'I feel like it is a good pet bed. Kmart got that advertising wrong,' one commented. Another added: 'I need three for my kids! They're perfect kid sized!!!' 'No because PLEASE tell me you accidentally LIED when you said you got it from Kmart!!! I LITERALLY CANT FIND IT AND I NEEEEDDDD THIS CHAIR,' another commented. One weighed in: 'It's a good upgrade from the old beanbag. by the time you get all the beans it's close to that price anyway. love it! Good gaming chair for kids.' But some people were hooked on the price point after @kittysaltyy said she felt like it was reasonable for a 'literal arm chair'. 'Did you just said ONLY $85 like sister that's EXPENSIVE,' one person said. Another added: 'The sentence ONLY $85 is insane to me.' 'Literally an overpriced children's beanbag nooooooo,' another added. A Kmart spokesperson weighed in on the product's popularity. 'Whether you're going maximalist with expressive statement pieces or keeping things calm and neutral, August Living offers a highly flexible mix-and-match approach — helping you style your home, your way,' the spokesperson told 'Also new this season: an expanded furniture offering, including compact, easy to shop compressed lounge chairs that expand to full size when opened — making stylish, large-scale furniture easier to transport and set up than ever before.'

Poo piles galore: TikTok star uncovers backyard horror

A UK home has been blasted on social media for having the most dog muck one TikTok star has ever seen. The Housing Horrors account – which has 166,000 followers – recently highlighted the £130,000 (AU$273,000) terraced bungalow in Sutherland Street, Seaham, after he was left stunned by the property's listing images. While the home seemed innocent enough from the outside – and even the inside – the backyard was something different all together. Here, the listing agent showed a courtyard garden covered in dozens of piles of dog poo, as well as a small dog. While the listing images were quickly removed online, piles of poo are still visible via the kitchen window which overlooks the rear garden. 'What the bloody hell are they thinking?,' the man behind Housing Horrors states. 'I don't know what is worse – the owners leaving all of this dog poo out there like this, or the agent thinking it's a great idea to upload this photo. 'This is going to put off any prospective buyers. Imagine looking through a house… buying your first house and seeing that. 'I've never seen so much dog poo in my entire life!' MORE NEWS Neighbour row erupts as residents erect 'Berlin Wall' World's most stubborn neighbour defies developers 6m 'monstrosity' has neighbours seething The influencer goes on to claim: 'This is genuinely one of the worst properties I have ever seen in my life', before looking through other pictures of the property. The video, which has amassed over 1.1m views on TikTok, has attracted plenty of outrage from viewers. 'If I don't clean up after my dog for 3 days my garden stinks, I can't imagine this!,' one follower commented. Another said: 'I'm worried about the dog somebody call RSPCA'. A third commented: Here's me having a panic attack because In my estate agent photos my tea towel wasn't folded correctly on my oven handle ! that poor baby dog though living in that breaks my heart.'
