I was really impressed with Ouzeri. It's a relaxed spot with simple but big, flavourful Greek Cypriot dishes. They use a lot of authentic, imported Greek ingredients. Their olive bread is light and pillowy, served with fantastic accompaniments. I loved the cabbage roll dish – lahanadolmades – and the prawn savoro. Their loukoumades are also very good. It's the kind of place that delivers understated excellence.

He was pulled unconscious from the beach, according to reports. The man was rushed to the Archangelos Health Centre, but was sadly pronounced dead. His exact cause of death is not yet known. An autopsy is expected to be carried out to determine the exact cause of death. He is not the only Brit to have died while on holiday in recent months. It comes after a Brit dad died while on holiday in Turkey after being escorted off a plane for being drunk. Builder Ben Crook from Caerphilly, South Wales had been in Antalya with his partner and two kids to celebrate his 32nd birthday. But he was escorted off their flight due to behaving erratically on the plane after drinking alcohol. He was separated from his family, who went to the hotel. But the dad died from a fall before he made it there to join them. Elsewhere, a two-year-old British boy drowned in a pool at a private villa in Ibiza. The tot was found in the swimming pool without a pulse, local news outlet Diario de Ibiza reported. Rhodes remains a popular tourist spot for Brit holidaymakers. The island was recently rocked by a 5.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Greece and Turkey. It was felt along the Turquoise Coast and in neighbouring regions, waking many from their sleep. Evia is split off from the mainland by only about 50 metres so visitors can cross the bridge from the mainland. One of the largest hotel investments in Evia is being developed in the Cheromylos area, including a five-star hotel. The resort will span across 54-acres on the seaside and have a total of 71 rooms, seven bungalows with private pools, wellness facilities, conference rooms and a number of eateries. Only electric vehicles will be allowed within the hotel complex and at the front of the resort there will be around 200 metres of sandy beach. Advertisement Heading over one of the Two Bridges - the Old Bridge and the newer suspension bridge - travellers will find themselves in Chalkida, the capital of the island. Just 80km away from Athens, Chalkida acts as the main gateway to the island. And here is where another destination is getting an upgrade. Also on the island is Aidipsos - a famous resort which is capable of accommodating 40,000 tourists during the summer season. Here, travellers can relish in thermal spas that even Aristotle and Plutarch used to visit, according to Discover Greece.
