And the madness continues on next week as Ali Foley, played by Doireann Ní Chorragáin, is making her long awaited return to the city with her son Lorcan Jr.
Ali is Carol's daughter in law and hasn't been in the show since her brief
She was married to Carol's son Lorcan, who died in 2002.
After Lorcan's funeral, Ali told Carol that she was pregnant with his child, who she called Lorcan Jr.

Ali had a dramatic exit from the show back in 2009 when she moved to the UK with her Lorcan Foley.
Next Thursday, on May 1, Lorcan Jr. arrives in town but makes a bad first impression by dodging Victor's cab fare.

Late Late Toy Show star Leo Earley has been cast in a brand new Harry Potter TV show on HBO. The Letrim native appeared on the annual Christmas show in 2024 where he gave an impressive monologue about hats. The young actor has been cast to play the role of Irish wizard Seamus Finnigan in the highly anticipated series, Variety reports. In the film franchise, the role was played by Kildare actor Devon Murray. Harry Potter will be played by Dominic McLaughlin, with Arabella Stanton and Alastair Stout playing his two best friends, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley. Other actors added to the show's cast include Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley, Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy and Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy. John Lithgow has been cast as Albus Dumbledore with Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid. Luke Thallon will play Quirinus Quirrell, and Paul Whitehouse will star as Argus Filch. The TV show, which will be based on J.K. Teacher, actress, and mum-of-twins, former Fair City star Jenny Dixon is now adding another string to her considerably talented bow as she has turned her hand to script writing. Dublin actress Jenny who played the role of the adorable but ditzy Kerri Ann Bishop for five years in RTE'S long-running soap opera Fair City, to considerable acclaim. Jenny, who is married to former Fine Gael TD Tom Neville, with whom she shares twin baby girls, Belle and Capri, has also appeared in a number of her small screen movies and mini-series. Jenny Dixon.
