Yahooa day ago

The tallest Superstar in the current WWE roster is the Nigerian Giant, Omos. He has seen a lot of success in his short time in the Stamford-based promotion. He has not competed inside a WWE ring since April of last year. However, his last professional wrestling match was back in January at Pro Wrestling NOAH.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet on his Insight Podcast, Omos opened up about when he thinks he will return to the squared circle. The Nigerian Giant mentioned that he knows he is a kind of special attraction, and thus, he is just waiting for the right occasion. He also said that whenever the time comes, he will be ready.

'I don't know. I'm just waiting. I'm kind of in a scenario where I'm kind of like a special attraction. Whenever that time comes, I'm ready.'
Omos reveals what advice he received from The Undertaker
During the same interview, the Nigerian Giant shared the advice he had received from The Undertaker.
'I've been blessed from the first day. I remember the first time I met him. I was at NXT, this is when we were still filming at Full Sail. I'm walking to Gorilla in the back, and I see Hunter. Hunter goes, 'Hey, I have a special surprise for you.' He [Undertaker] just walks out, and I rarely get star-struck. I just go oh it's The Undertaker! He goes, 'Hey big fella', and he just gave me a big hug. I was shocked. I was shook.

'I couldn't believe my eyes, and from that day it just became like a bond. He's pretty much like a, because he can't be my dad, sorry Taker, but he's been such a great influence on me, and I appreciate him. We talk quite often. He gives me advice. Whenever I'm trying to figure out a match or a spot, I always ask, What would Undertaker do? Because I do admire how he's been able to transcend the business, because he has built one of those characters that, even after he passes, that character is going to be forever,' Omos said.
Are you looking forward to seeing Omos make his WWE return?

Hikaru Shida's AEW Absence Explained

Three-time former Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida hasn't been seen on AEW programming in quite some time. Shida hasn't been seen on television for AEW since the November 20 episode of Dynamite when she lost to Kris Statlander. So why hasn't she been featured at all in 2025? Advertisement On a recent Twitch stream, AEW EVP Kenny Omega revealed that Shida is currently back in Japan waiting on her visa to be renewed. Omega also confirmed that he's been taking care of her cats while she's away. 'Shida, it's unfortunate, every couple of years, everyone has to go back to their home country and re-up their visa,' Kenny Omega said. 'I would've hated for her cats to have been alone for who knows how long because you never really know how long the process is going to take. In this case, it's taking quite a while. Her cats get separation anxiety and don't like being alone. Dobby [Kenny's cat] is generally very gentle. They do get along. It's nice and it's fun. I would do it anytime. It's not a chore.' For now, I am enjoying my stay in Japan and getting more energy to wrestle in the US again. I'm looking forward to my comeback. Please wait and I'm so glad if you support me.' Trick Williams and AJ Francis drop diss tracks on Mike Santana

It was a tough week for Mike Santana. He was screwed by First Class when challenging Trick Williams for the TNA Championship in NXT. Then, AJ Francis smashed a champagne bottle over Santana's head at Against All Odds. On top of that, Trick Williams and AJ Francis dropped diss tracks on him. Advertisement First up was from Tricky Will. Let's talk about it. Trick's best line dissing Santana was, 'I remember back then nobody rocked with Santana, then TNA decided just to lower their standards.' The song is kind of catchy for a wrestling tune. The music video also features Lash Legend and a line about her feeding Trick bananas in the cabana. Francis went in the lab for the remix. His trash talk for Santana was saved for the end, 'But you think just because you Puerto Rican that make you tough, like it's not endless Puerto Ricans in the morgue.' Francis' best lines were about his own career, 'I got over soon as I was true myself. Not being Top Dolla did not reduce my wealth. They would've rather I died on that top rope dive, but now my stock is top rope high.' Share your thoughts on the pair of diss tracks from Trick Williams and AJ Francis. Who did it better?
