Inaugural Grayton Beach Spring Art Fest postponed

Yahoo14-03-2025

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – A new local art festival is coming to Walton County. Shacks Art Grayton Beach is hosting the inaugural spring art fest.
It was originally scheduled for this Saturday. Organizers have moved it to next Saturday, March 22nd, because of the chance of bad weather this weekend.
March 22nd is also Shacks' one-year anniversary.

More than 80 local artists will be selling all types of art. Pieces are priced between $1 and $5,000.
There's also live music, kids crafts, live art, and food and beverages.
Event hosts believe the Grayton Beach area needs an event like this.
'There's no other art festivals this time of year in this area. So, we're just getting one started that we could do year after year, and everyone could look forward to and hopefully have it grow and grow. It just goes with the flair of the area. I mean, art is everywhere, and there are so many creative people in this area. The Grayton Beach side is really not as commercialized as the rest of 30a. So, it still has that artsy-fartsy knack about it,' Shacks co-owner Autumn Johnson said.
You can also get a head start on the festivities. Shacks is hosting a Wine Walk next Thursday with live music, local art, wine, and food.
