Best swimwear options for bigger boobs: Top fashion editor reveals 6 must-have styles - including a supermarket bargain

Going on holiday ought to be a relaxing experience. But for those with a bigger bust, finding swimwear that's both attractive and supportive can cause anxiety. It often seems bikinis are designed with model-esque A-cups in mind – offering little coverage or lift for those with bigger boobs, or sacrificing style for support with huge shoulder straps and unflattering, matronly shapes.
But if you know where to look, there are plenty of swimwear options that are practical without sacrificing prettiness. Just ask our Fashion Director (and certified swimwear queen), Sophie Dearden-Howell.
' When picking a swimsuit, you want to opt for a style that follows the line of your body,' Dearden-Howell says. 'If the material stretches straight from your boob to your tummy, you lose your shape. You want it to scoop under your bust and hold your waist to accentuate your figure. You also want a cut that's long enough in the body so the neckline doesn't sit too low and drag your bust down.'
'When it comes to bikini shopping, an adjustable strap is your best friend. That way, you can hoist to a point that suits you – and if you're broader across the shoulders, an extendable strap makes a bra much comfier. A triangle-tie bikini might feel scary – they have a reputation for being skimpier – but because both the top and bottom are adjustable, they're often a better fit for your body.'
'If you feel too busty, you can always take the padding out of a bikini top,' Dearden-Howell advises. 'I feel like it adds too much volume to my already busty bust!'
Her last – and most important – piece of advice? 'Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous. Don't apologise for having big boobs, or feel like you need to cover them up.'
Feeling inspired? Here are six of our best swimwear picks for bigger-busted women. From simple and sophisticated styles to statement patterns, we've got you (and your assets) beautifully covered.

Eastenders' Michelle Collins on Welsh lineage and Marilyn Munroe

EastEnders star Michelle Collins said she was channelling the "strong Welsh women" in her family as she has admitted to feeling a "bit scared" and out of her comfort zone in a forthcoming who plays Cindy Beale in the soap opera, said a debut appearance at this summer's Edinburgh Festival Fringe would leave her feeling "reenergised" for a return to the Walford show Motorhome Marilyn is about an aspiring actress with an obsessive interest in Hollywood legend Marilyn who described herself as a fan of the late performer, also paid tribute to "really strong and matriarchal figures" while discussing her Welsh ancestry with Lucy Owen on BBC Radio Wales. "When you go off and you do something else that really challenges you, you are really out of your comfort zone," she said."It's really exciting and then you go back to TV and feel re-energised."And I think it's really important, particularly me at my age, to feel a bit scared to do something out of our comfort zone."The actress, who reprised her role as Cindy in 2023 after a 25-year absence, has appeared in other stage and screen shows including Calendar Girls and Doctor Who. Her new one-woman show is based on a passing glimpse of a real person she encountered years ago on the streets of Los Angeles who was dressed as Monroe."I think life is about timing," said Collins. "It does feel like the stars are kind of aligned."I'm back in EastEnders and they let me have time off, which is really fantastic."I was out of EastEnders for 25 years and I did a lot of work, a lot of telly, a lot of theatre and I'm the kind of person that I just get itchy feet."Collins explained how she "felt Welsh" as her mother grew up in Hopkinstown in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and they returned to visit family when Collins herself was a child."My mother was an incredibly strong woman and, you know I think I'm quite a strong woman and all the Welsh women I know are really strong... and matriarchal figures," she said.

Tesco shoppers rush to buy pricey stroller parents ‘love' scanning for £119 off

TESCO shoppers are rushing to buy a pricey stroller scanning for £199 off. Eagle-eyed customers could not believe their luck after spotting a Joie Brisk LX Lightweight Umbrella Stroller scanning for just £51. 1 The deal was shared in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, with lots of shoppers praising the deal. One savvy customer said: "This is good." While another shopper said: "Crazy, I spent 170 on mine when it first came out." And a third customer added the stroller might be "worth it" for when they go on holiday. The pram comes with a water repellent canopy and a lie flat lounger so your little one can nap on the go. It can hold up to 22kg and is suitable from birth to children aged four years old. The product has received rave reviews from other parents who said they "loved" the pram. If you are keen to shop the product you will have to visit a Tesco store as the offer does not appear to be available online. It may be worth ringing your local branch ahead of time to check stock levels to avoid a wasted trip. You can find your nearest Tesco by visiting, Save with secret codes The pram is also available at Argos for £100 and Pram World has reduced the price of the product from £170 to £99.95. And that is not the only bargain that has been spotted at Tesco in recent weeks. Shoppers were stunned to see a £12 dupe for pricey Samsonite carry on suitcases. In comparison, a similar suitcase from Samsonite will set you back a whopping £295. HOW TO BAG A BARGAIN When hunting for a deal, it is important to shop around to make sure you are not being overcharged. There are plenty of comparison websites that will check prices for you – so don't be left paying more than you have to. Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers. For example, Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results. Price Spy also logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock. How to save money at Tesco EVERY little helps when it comes to saving money at Tesco. The Sun's Head of Consumer Tara Evans explains how you can save money at the UK's biggest supermarket. Clubcard points Tesco first launched it's loyalty scheme back in 1995. You get one point for every £1 you spend in store. If you spend points in store then 100 points is worth £1. You can spend your points via its reward partners and get triple and even sometimes quadruple the value. Extend Clubcard points You can find lost Clubvcard points and find the last two years of unused vouchers by logging into the Tesco Clubcard site. Clubcard prices If you don't have a Clubcard then you will miss out on its cheaper Clubcard prices. However, don't forget to check prices before you shop because it might not be cheaper than elsewhere, especially on big value items like washing powder and loo roll. Yellow stickers Shops do vary the time they reduce groceries with yellow stickers but Tesco tends to be between 7pm and 9pm. Save money if you shop online If you get your Tesco food shop delivered then it might be worth buying a delivery saver pass to help cut the cost of delivery fees. If you live near a Tesco then you can get click and collect slots of as little as 25p, so it might be cheaper than getting your food delivered.
