834 cases of amputation recorded among children since Israel resumed war on Gaza
GAZA CITY, April 15 (MENA) - Head of the Pediatrics and Maternity Department at Nasser Medical Hospital in Gaza Dr. Ahmed al-Farah said Tuesday that there has been a significant increase in the number of victims among children and women since Israel resumed its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
In a statement reported by Al-Arabiya Al-Hadath news channel, the head of the pediatrics department said, 'the Palestinian Health Ministry has recorded 834 cases of amputation among children since Israel resumed the war on the Gaza Strip,' noting that more than 40% of the victims of the war on Gaza are children.
The Palestinian pediatrician strongly denounced the Israeli atrocities committed against children and women. He said that the number of children killed since Israel broke the ceasefire and resumed its onslaught, has reached 500 so far.
About one million children in the Gaza Strip lack all basic necessities to survive, as a result of Israel hindering the delivery of humanitarian aid and food supplies into the Strip, according to the United Nations. (MENA)

UPDATED: Israel kills 90 Palestinians in 48 hours as Gaza death toll keeps rising - War on Gaza
Hospitals across Gaza received the bodies of 90 Palestinians and over 600 wounded in the past 48 hours, the Health Ministry said Saturday, as Israel's war on the besieged Strip pushes the death toll past 55,000 amid relentless attacks and systematic targeting of aid distribution zones. At least 27 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded early Saturday as Israeli forces intensified shelling across the Gaza Strip, with the heaviest bombardments reported in central areas, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA. Local sources told WAFA that Israeli troops opened live fire on civilians gathered near aid distribution points in central Gaza, killing 15 and injuring many others. Israel has repeatedly targeted aid centres operated by the US-Israeli-run Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). Israel has killed at least 274, and injured 2,532 since the systematic targeting of people near aid distribution areas began. In Gaza City, medical officials reported five bodies brought to Al-Shifa Hospital, including two people killed in an airstrike on a tent near Al-Khaldi Mosque. Artillery was also struck the eastern al-Tuffah neighbourhood. In Khan Younis, three civilians were killed in a drone strike near the Islamic University, according to local reports cited by WAFA. The Palestinian Health ministry further indicated that since Israel broke the ceasfiren on 18 March, 2025, the occupation army has killed 5,014 Palestinians with 16,385 injured. Since 7 October 2023, Israel's genocidal war on Gaza has killed 55,297 Palestinians, the majority women and injured nearly 128,426 others, the ministry added. Over 11,000 remain missing, presumed buried under the rubble. Follow us on: Facebook Instagram Whatsapp Short link:

CAIRO, June 13 (MENA) - The Cabinet's Media Center released a set of infographics via its social media platforms, outlining Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli's key engagements for the week of June 7–13. These activities included a series of meetings, follow-ups, and high-level discussions addressing vital national issues. They featured a meeting, chaired by Madbouli, to discuss the investment plan for the healthcare sector over the next 10 years. During the meeting, Madbouli instructed that available investment opportunities be presented to the private sector, supported by clear partnership mechanisms, the "golden license" and standardized contracts. The meeting also reviewed over 75 key investment opportunities in the healthcare sector. The premier also chaired a meeting to follow up on the government's efforts and preparations to announce the elimination of leprosy in Egypt. He called for intensified efforts to reach zero leprosy cases while ensuring comprehensive care for recovered patients and the necessary social and financial support. In this regard, the Health Ministry will provide integrated services, such as early detection and treatment, through the Leprosy Control Department under the Preventive Medicine Sector. The infographics also highlighted a meeting to follow up on the trial operation of the Pyramids Visit System Development Project. The meeting took up steps taken to provide services to visitors within the archaeological site. It also addressed efforts to prevent unauthorized vehicle access to the site and outlined plans to protect antiquities by establishing a designated parking area near the Visitor Center and introducing an environmentally friendly transportation system relying on electric buses within the archaeological site. Madbouli also chaired a meeting of the Higher Committee responsible for organizing the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)'s opening celebration. A report was presented on the progress of transportation projects in the museum's vicinity, and it was noted that the Engineering Authority has finalized all assigned tasks within the project scope. Among other activities was a meeting to follow up on plans and procedures to expand seawater desalination projects and localize related industries. The premier stated that the target is to produce around 9 million cubic meters of desalinated water per day. Several projects currently being studied by "ACWA Power" were reviewed during the meeting. A separate meeting was convened to review the plan for maintaining adequate reserves of petroleum products and natural gas in light of recent regional developments. Madbouli stressed that the government has a comprehensive action plan to meet the needs of various sectors, particularly the electricity sector. He further explained that the government is targeting the operation of three regasification ships, starting from early July, with a combined capacity of 2,250 million cubic feet per day. He instructed the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources to fast-track the launch of the three regasification vessels. He also noted that gas shipment contracts are in place and that fuel oil reserves and stocks are available, alongside ongoing efforts to ensure the availability of all petroleum products. OIC: Israel Plans to Seize Area C in West Bank
Mohamed Mandour The Organization of Islamic Cooperation's Media Observatory for Israeli Crimes against Palestinians reported that there were 460 martyrs and 1,939 wounded in just one week, from June 3 to June 9, 2025. From October 7, 2023, to June 9, 2025, the total number of martyrs reached 56,260, with 134,586 wounded. Many martyrs were killed while searching for aid, including over 111 Palestinians who lost their lives while looking for food. Additionally, 583 people were injured and nine are missing while seeking assistance. Most were killed by Israeli fire targeting various areas of Gaza, including tents for displaced persons and civilian homes. Data from the United Nations indicates that rates of acute malnutrition among children in Gaza have tripled since the last ceasefire. UNICEF issued an appeal for an end to the war, emphasizing that using starvation as a "weapon" constitutes a war crime. This statement follows increasing references to the term "genocide" by Western officials. Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prévost has stated that he personally believes the situation in Gaza amounts to genocide. In a recent airstrike, three paramedics and a journalist were killed while recovering bodies in the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza. Israeli forces also bombed the Baptist Hospital, resulting in the deaths of four additional journalists, bringing the total number of journalists killed in the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip to 228. The Observatory noted that occupation forces are intensifying pressure on the healthcare sector by doubling the number of wounded, exceeding the capacity of hospitals in the Gaza Strip to provide treatment due to restrictions and a lack of necessary equipment and resources. The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor confirmed that occupation forces have deliberately bombed hospitals in Gaza, using pretexts and falsehoods. Occupation forces have also destroyed homes in the Qarara area of Khan Yunis and the Jabalia refugee camp as part of their displacement policy and arming Palestinian militias. Meanwhile, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has stated that the occupation government has a plan that includes imposing sovereignty over Area C, displacing the residents of Khan al-Ahmar, and disrupting the banking system. Additionally, occupation forces have notified the owners of 100 homes in the Jenin refugee camp of their impending demolition. Al-Aqsa Mosque faces almost daily raids, with extremist settlers attempting to bring bloodied meat into the mosque for sacrifice, only to be stopped by Al-Aqsa guards. The occupation authorities continue to prohibit Muslims from entering the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, refusing to hand over the mosque and its facilities to Muslims on the first day of Eid al-Adha, as they have done on Fridays and during Laylat al-Qadr in Ramadan, as well as Eid al-Fitr. Settlers attacked the Armenian Monastery in Al-Quds, spitting on the monastery, crosses, and holy symbols. In the West Bank, the number of raids conducted by occupation forces in cities and towns reached 302, resulting in the arrest of 166 Palestinians. Tragically, they also killed a child in Ramallah and wounded two others in Nablus. During the same week, they raided the Al-Tahadi School in the village of Khirbet Ibziq, while settlers were present near the Nour al-Huda School on the outskirts of Beitunia in Ramallah. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks News Shell Unveils Cost-Cutting, LNG Growth Plan Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean News 3 Killed in Shooting Attack in Thailand
