Vivo has launched its budget Y19 5G smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 10,499 upwards, the smartphone has a 5,500 mAh battery and is rated IP64 for resistance against dust and water ingress. The Vivo Y19 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and features a 13MP primary camera with built-in AI-powered imaging tools.

The Vivo Y19 5G smartphone is now available on Vivo India e-store, e-commerce platform Flipkart, and some retail outlets. Regarding the introductory offer, customers purchasing the 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone can opt for a three-month no-interest equated monthly instalment (EMI) plan. ALSO READ:

Vivo said that the new Y19 5G smartphone features a premium design with a metallic matte frame paired with a 'Rainbow Crystal Texture.' Available in Titanium Silver and Majestic Green colourways, the smartphone measures 8.19mm in thickness and weighs 199g. Regarding durability, the smartphone has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and has received Swiss SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance certification.
The smartphone features a 6.74-inch LCD display of HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, it has a 5,500 mAh battery and supports 15W wired charging. For imaging, the smartphone sports a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. There are also several AI-powered image editing tools including AI Erase for removing unwanted objects, AI Photo Enhance for sharpening blurry images, and AI Documents for scanning notes.

While Vivo has not announced global availability yet, the foldable is expected to launch in more markets in the coming months. Vivo X Fold5: Details The Vivo X Fold5 runs on last year's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It features an 8.03-inch AMOLED inner display with a 2480x2200 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display is a 6.53-inch AMOLED panel with a 2748x1172 resolution in a 21.1:9 aspect ratio, also running at 120Hz. Despite its slim profile—just 4.3mm when unfolded and 9.2mm when closed—the device houses a 6,000mAh battery, along with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. On the back, Vivo has partnered with Zeiss to co-develop a triple camera system, which includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Both the inner and outer displays have a 20MP front-facing camera. The Vivo X Fold also comes with improved durability. It is rated IPX8 and IPX9 for water resistance and also IP5X for dust protection. Vivo X Fold5: Compatibility with Apple Devices In a post on Chinese social media platform Weibo, Vivo claimed that the X Fold5 can support 'flow of iPhone calls, messages and notifications.' Users will also be able to reverse charge an iPhone, and share files seamlessly with 'one-touch' transfers. JSW MG Motor India To Increase Prices Across Model Lineup From July 1

JSW MG Motor India has announced a price hike of up to 1.5 per cent, covering the majority of models in their lineup. The changes in vehicle prices will take effect on July 1, 2025. It is worth noting that the extent of price changes will depend on the model and variant. As per the automaker, the revision in the prices of the vehicles has been made because of rising input costs and economic adjustments. The current range of cars with the MG badge begins with the Comet EV, which comes at a starting price of Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is followed by the Windsor EV, which comes at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). After this, you enter the range of ICE cars, starting with Astor at Rs 11.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The next in line is Hector at Rs 17.5 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top spot taken by the Gloster at Rs 41.07 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric cars in the brand's portfolio offer consumers Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS). This model is aimed at reducing the initial cost of the vehicle for consumers by separating the battery cost from the car's price. Hence, making electric vehicle ownership accessible. MG Motor is gearing up to venture into the luxury market with an array of new products. The company has revealed plans to launch the M9 Limousine, signaling its entry into the high-end vehicle segment. Later this year, MG will also launch the Cyberster, an electric convertible sports car that aims to enhance performance-focused innovation within its EV lineup. Both of these premium vehicles will be sold through a newly established dealership network, MG Select, which is designed to offer a more exclusive customer experience. Additionally, the automaker has provided a preview of the Majestor. This could be a luxury SUV concept derived from the Gloster. The Majestor is anticipated to join the lineup in the upcoming months, indicating MG's ambition to expand its premium offerings in the Indian market.
