Greater New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade steps off Sunday
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — The Greater New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held on Sunday, March 16.
Step-off time is 1:30 p.m., and the live broadcast on News 8 and WTNH.com will start at 2 p.m.

Water Quality Advisory Issued for Okaloosa County locations
OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County has issued a water quality advisory for multiple locations in Fort Walton and Niceville. The following locations did not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria according to a test on June 9th: Liza Jackson Park, 338 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach Emerald Promenade, 933 Whelk Court, Fort Walton Beach Rocky Bayou State Park, 4281 Highway 20, Niceville Enterococci are enteric bacteria that normally inhabit the intestinal tract of humans and animals; their presence could be an indication of fecal pollution. Santa Fe County bans ‘high-risk' fireworks for a month
SANTA FE COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) — With the Fourth of July approaching, Santa Fe County has declared severe drought conditions and banned the sale and use of certain fireworks. The county says this is for unincorporated and wildland areas. 'This fireworks ban is a preventive measure to protect lives, property, and the environment,' said Fire Marshal Jaome Blay. 'We urge all residents to avoid personal use of fireworks and instead attend professionally produced public displays.' The ban is part of Resolution 2025-65, which says permissible fireworks must only be used on paved or barren surfaces with a readily available water source. Rain showers and cooler temperatures tomorrow
The Latest from Storm Team 5… Good news, as of 3 p.m., the Air Quality alert for NE WI has expired as air quality levels are improving! However, we have a band of rain developing in central WI and that will be the focal point of our weather. For tonight, expect cloudy skies with rain showers favoring areas north of Green Bay. Can not rule out a few showers to pass through the Fox Valley at times. Lows tonight in the upper 40s and low 50s. Rain showers along a stationary boundary should remain north of HWY 29 through much of the morning into the afternoon, but a passing shower south can not be ruled out. You will notice even cooler temperatures then today, only topping out in the middle to upper 50s up north, with lower to middle 60s south. Most wont see much rain, but areas far north could see up around 1″ or more of rain. Saturday, a weak wave of rain will move in for the morning, but we should be dry for the Flag Day Parade in the afternoon. Highs will be in the 60s to around 70. Keeping us dry for the Dads on Sunday under mostly cloudy skies. Have to watch Monday through Wednesday, lots of model uncertainty with arrival of rain and storms…stay tuned.
