Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says US President Donald Trump was not going to allow Iran to have nuclear weapons capability amid the Israelis and Iranians exchanging strikes.
'Donald Trump has talked about again and again and again, which is that under his watch, he would not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons capability,' Mr Mulvaney told Sky News Australia.
'The bottom line, the one thing we know is that Donald Trump was simply not going to tolerate Iran having a nuclear weapon.'
