Six Florida Lottery players from South Miami-Dade to near the Florida-Alabama border, shared the same thought and shared a Sunday Fantasy 5 jackpot.
The Fantasy 5 midday drawing of 7, 12, 16, 22 and 35 matched six tickets, none of which were Quick Picks.
The Miami-Dade tickets were bought at a Kendall Fresco y Mas, 15050 SW 72nd St.; a North Miami-Dade Winn-Dixie, 14900 NW Seventh Ave.; and the Murphy USA gas station at 17700 S. Dixie Hwy. The other tickets came from grocery stores in Pensacola (Red Dot) and Jacksonville (Snappy) and a gas station in Thonotosassa.
So many tickets on the midday drawing, which always has the smaller jackpot, meant each ticket was worth $8,843.21.
To cash these tickets, head for the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the district offices, which are open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Miami district office is at 14621 Oak Ln. in Miami Lakes. Appointments aren't required, but can be made by emailing MIARC@flalottery.com or calling 305-364-3080.

Lottery player wins nearly $530,000 jackpot in Georgia. Where was ticket sold?
A Georgia Lottery player tried their luck — and netted a half million-dollar prize. Someone hit the Fantasy 5 jackpot, winning $529,972 in the drawing Tuesday, June 3, according to the Georgia Lottery's website. The winning ticket, sold on the Georgia Lottery app, matched all five numbers. Officials didn't say if the winner has come forward. McClatchy News reached out to the Georgia Lottery for more information June 4 and was awaiting a response. The winning Fantasy 5 numbers were 6-27-28-35-36, results show. The lucky player beat odds of 1 in 850,668 to take the top prize. Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, the Georgia Lottery said.

A jackpot-winning lottery ticket worth $875,000 was sold in South Florida
Of Tuesday's Florida Lottery-connected draw games — Jackpot Triple Play, Cash4Life, Mega Millions, Fantasy 5 — only one had a jackpot winner and it was worth $875,000. It wasn't Mega Millions, which will have a $223 million top prize for Friday's drawing. The good fortune fell on a Jackpot Triple Play winner, whose Quick Pick ticket bought at the Boca Raton Shell station at 5899 N. Federal Hwy. had 9, 10, 19, 20, 35 and 40. This ticket can be cashed at the Florida Lottery main office in Tallahassee or one of the Florida Lottery district offices.
