Indiyah Polack, 26, rose to fame in the eighth series of the long-running dating show in 2022.
She came in third place with her fellow co-star and has gone on to have a huge career outside the villa.
The reality personality is the co-host of the official podcast, Love Island: The Morning After with fellow former islander Amy Hart.
Any contestant competing on the show follows a strict set of rules that have been put in place by the producers.
When going on dates or taking part in parties within the villa, usually the contestants are allowed only one drink.
However, Indiyah has revealed that she and Dami did break this rule on their first date.
"There was a bottle of champagne on the table and we thought it was there for aesthetics," she admitted.
"But we found out it was real and necked the whole bottle. It was fun for our first date!"
Because of this rule, the star admitted that the raucous group parties that are depicted on the show are far more tame in real life.
When asked about the villa garden parties, she exclaimed: "No they are not as fun as they look - shout out love island for making them look so fun!

When asked who she would invite to a reunion, she admitted: "Probably Ekin, Tasha, Andrew - even though he and Tasha aren't together anymore - he is a great guy.
She continued: "Jacques [too], Ikenna I'm still close to, surprisingly, and he's friends with Dami.
