CUET UG 2025: NTA To Offer Retest For Accountancy Paper Due To Syllabus Issues
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that students who appeared for the Accountancy paper of the CUET UG 2025 between May 13 and May 16 will be given an option to reappear for the test. This decision comes after concerns were raised about questions that were outside the prescribed syllabus.
To address the issue, NTA has revised the pattern of the Accountancy question paper. From May 22, 2025 onwards, the paper will include a choice for students to attempt questions from either Unit V or skip it. The rest of the paper will continue to cover content from Units I to IV, as per the notified syllabus.
Students who have already taken the exam before May 22 have two options: they can either retain their existing result or choose to appear for the revised version of the paper.
To exercise the option to reappear, candidates can visit the official NTA websites, www.nta.ac.in or www.cuet.nta.nic.in, where the relevant information and instructions will be made available.
Further details about the retest will be shared soon. Students are advised to regularly check the official websites for updates. For any queries, candidates can call the NTA helpline at 011-40759000 or email cuet-ug@nta.ac.in.
The CUET (UG) 2025 was conducted in 13 mediums across the country for admission into undergraduate programmes for all central universities and participating universities in India for the academic year 2025-26. WBJEE 2025 Result Date: When were WBJEE results declared in the past?
WBJEE 2025 Result Date And Time: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is expected to declare the WBJEE 2025 results soon. When announced, candidates can check the result at The entrance exam for engineering and pharmacy courses in the state was conducted this year on April 27. WBCAP 2025 Online Application Window at Registration begins for West Bengal UG admissions While an official confirmation on the WBJEE result date is still awaited, a look at previous years' timelines gives us a good idea of when the results might be announced. By analysing the number of days between the exam date and the result declaration over the past three years—2022, 2023, and 2024—it becomes possible to estimate the most likely timeframe for the WBJEE 2025 result. The WBJEE 2024 was held on April 28, 2024. The results were declared on June 6, 2024, indicating a 39-day gap between the exam and the announcement of the result. This timeframe represented a middle ground between the longer delay of 2022 and the quicker declaration of 2023. It suggests that the WBJEEB has stabilised its result-processing timeline to roughly five and a half weeks post exam.\ The 2023 edition of WBJEE also took place on April 30, much like last year. However, the results were announced far earlier—on May 26, 2023. This meant the WBJEEB declared the results just 26 days after conducting the exam. This relatively shorter turnaround time indicated that the board had streamlined its post-exam processing, and was aiming to conclude the result declaration phase faster than in 2022. In 2022, the WBJEE was held on April 30, after being rescheduled from the initially announced date of April 23. The results for that year were declared on June 17, which means there was a gap of 48 days between the exam and the result announcement. This was one of the longest gaps in recent years, partly owing to delays related to post-COVID logistical challenges. Nevertheless, it set a precedent for a mid-June result window. The WBJEE 2025 was conducted on April 27, following the same exam schedule as previous years. Based on past trends, WBJEEB typically declares the results between 26 and 48 days after the exam date. That pattern suggested an expected result window between May 24 and June 15, 2025. However, with June 18 already here and no official result announcement yet, the result has now exceeded the upper limit of the past three years' trend window. This delay suggests that WBJEEB might be taking longer this year due to internal processing or administrative reasons. In 2022, the result was declared 48 days after the exam, which was the latest in recent years. This year, we have already crossed the 51-day mark since the exam was conducted. It is worth noting that the board usually releases the final answer key a few days before the result. As of now, that hasn't been published, indicating the result may still be a few days away.
