JAC 12th Science toppers 2025:
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) declared the Class 12 Science and Commerce stream results for the academic session 2024–25 on May 31, 2025. The results were officially announced at a press conference held in the auditorium of the JAC Office in Ranchi.

The event was graced by Shri Ramdas Soren, Hon'ble Minister of School Education and Literacy, Jharkhand, who presided over the announcement.
This year, the Science stream recorded a pass percentage of 79.26%, with a total of 98,634 students appearing for the exams. Out of these, 78,186 students cleared the examination, with 58,732 achieving first division. The results were made available to students online at 12:30 PM on the official JAC portals.
Ankita Dutta secures top rank in Science stream
Among the thousands of candidates, Ankita Dutta from Rajkiyakrit +2 High School, Govindpur, Dhanbad emerged as the topper in the Science stream. She secured a remarkable 477 marks, leading the merit list for the Class 12 Science stream.
Closely following her was Ankit Kumar Sah of Noamundi Inter College, West Singhbhum, who scored 476 marks. The third rank was shared by three students — Kishor Kumar, Jagannath Singh Choudhary and Himanshu Kumar — each securing 474 marks.
Ursuline Inter College, Ranchi, made a significant mark by placing four students in the top ranks, including Jiya Shriwastav, Muskan Kumari, Shreya Songiri and Prachi Priya.

Students who are dissatisfied with their results can apply for revaluation at Rs 200 per subject through their schools. Compartment exams are expected in June–July 2025 for those failing in one or two subjects.

JAC Jharkhand Class 12 Arts Result 2025: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has declared the Class 12 Arts stream result. Students who appeared for the exams can check their results on the official JAC website - - and on DigiLocker at Earlier, the JAC Class 12 Science and Commerce results for 2025 were released on May 31. This year, the pass percentage in the Commerce stream improved to 91.92 per cent, up from 90.60 per cent last year. Out of 2,28,436 registered students, 2,19,838 passed the exam. Notably, Arts students recorded a higher overall pass percentage compared to their Science and Commerce counterparts. What's next as the results are declared? Re-evaluation Process: Students unsatisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation. Detailed guidelines and application procedures will be available on the official JAC website. Compartment Exams: For those who did not pass in one or two subjects, JAC will announce the schedule and application process for compartment exams shortly. Original Marksheet Collection: While digital marksheets are available online, students should collect their original marksheets and certificates from their respective schools once they are distributed.

Chatra farmer celebrates two daughters' results in science stream
Chatra: A farmer of the district is celebrating the success of his two daughters as the JAC declared the Class XII results of science and commerce streams on Saturday. Elder daughter Sneha Kumari bagged the eight position in science stream, becoming the district topper, while Neha Kumari got the ninth position. Students of Ramnarayan +2 High School, Sneha scored 469 marks out of 500, while Neha secured 458 marks. Terming their father Pramod Yadav as an inspiration, the two sisters said, "Papa always used to encourage us to study well by saying that the harder we struggle now, the happier life will be in future. So, we never wasted time on mobile phone or in chatting with friends or family members." Sneha, who wants to become a doctor, said, "My next target is to fulfill my father's dream by becoming a doctor at any cost." Echoing her elder sister's words, Neha said, "Our father's daily struggle motivates us to fulfill our duty as his children as well as make this human life and our parents' sacrifices worthy." A resident of Kashi Kewal village under Huntergunj block of Chatra, Pramod Kumar said, "This is an unexpected gift from both my daughters for me. They paid the price of my hard work. I pray that that they acieve their aim."
