Rogue Legend poised to join growing Resolute Racing squad
Paddy Twomey's two-year-old has won twice since narrowly beaten on debut and was impressive in the silks of the Rogues Gallery syndicate – who will be represented by James Owen's Rogue Impact in the Betfred Derby on Saturday – in a hot race at Cork recently.
However, Rogue Legend will sport the colours of the American operation at the Royal meeting, pending blood test results which are expected to be confirmed early next week.
Stewart said: 'I was impressed with his recent performance on the track and plan to run him in one of the two-year-old sprint races at Royal Ascot. We will enter him in all of them and then pick the race.
'With a Timeform rating of 104 he is one of the top two-year-old sprint horses in Europe and I expect for him to be very competitive.'
Stewart has previously stated his ambition to make Resolute Racing a force on the world stage and last year acquired the Francis-Henri Graffard-trained Goliath after his victory in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot.
The American was the source of conversation on X last week when inadvertently suggesting he had struck a deal to purchase Richard Hannon's Queen Anne hope Rosallion.
But he instead continues his association with Twomey having previously recruited Irish 1,000 Guineas runner-up A Lilac Rolla from the Irish handler, with the four-year-old poised to make her first appearance for Bill Mott in Saturday's Just A Game Stakes at Saratoga.

Sean O'Malley issues five-word response after Conor McGregor praise
The American has traded barbs with the former dual-weight champion in recent times, but it seems as if they have rekindled their relationship Sean O'Malley has seemingly buried the hatchet with Conor McGregor ahead of his return to the cage this weekend. The former bantamweight champion is gearing up for a return to the octagon on Saturday as he goes head-to-head with Merab Dvalishvili in an eagerly anticipated rematch at the Prudential Center in Newark. The pair originally clashed last September - with Dvalishvili going on to claim the 135lb title after securing a unanimous decision win. Following that triumph, Dvalishvili successfully defended his title back in January, beating Umar Nurmagomedov by decision. 'Suga,' on the other hand hasn't stepped into the cage since his defeat at UFC 306. Given how dominant the Georgian was in the first encounter, many are backing the 'Machine' to win again. Yet, one unexpected supporter in O'Malley's corner is McGregor – surprising many. Despite being respectful of each other at first, their relationship took a sour turn over the last few years. The pair have traded verbal jabs online- with McGregor slamming 'Suga' over his previous issues with USADA. Nevertheless, it seems they have moved past their grievances. McGregor lavished praise on O'Malley, remarking that his training camp echoes of McGregor's own ahead of his second bout with Nate Diaz: "Very reminiscent of my Diaz 2 prep. Intriguing! BIG FIGHT FEEL!" The Irishman wrote on X. After hearing the news, O'Malley expressed delight at having the 'Notorious' in his corner once more. "Hell yeah, I will take it," O'Malley said during the UFC 316 media day. "I will forever be a huge Conor fan. I feel grateful to be able to watch his come up in my generation, I watched it happen. I think we'll look back, he had one of the craziest careers. It's cool to be able to watch it happen while I was getting into the UFC and everything. I'm pumped the relationship is back to good." The 30-year-old added: "I have always taken inspiration from Conor fights. I've watched Conor fights more than probably any (fights), well, (I watch) my fights more, but I've watched a lot of Conor fights." In preparation for the upcoming rematch, O'Malley revealed he has watched plenty of sequels, including McGregor's second bout with Diaz - to see how they responded in the second bout when they were counted out. "So I was watching Conor-Nate. I've just been watching a bunch of fights. We just have cameras recording so much, I did not realise that was a moment that got captured," he said. "I've been watching a bunch of fights. I've been watching some rematches."

Fife Flyers takeover complete as US investors buy ice hockey outfit
A group of American investors have completed a takeover of Fife Flyers. The Kirkcaldy club – the UK's oldest ice hockey team – confirmed the completion of the takeover on Thursday. It came after previous owners Tom Muir and Jack Wishart made the shock announcement that they were putting the club up for sale in February, after nearly three decades at the helm. The identity of the new owners has not been revealed, but they have installed a new management team to run the club, led by Cardiff Devils legend Max Birbraer. Gareth Chalmers, former managing director at Glasgow Clan and Braehead Arena, has been appointed as chief commercial and operations officer. The Fife Flyers statement said: 'We want to express our gratitude to those who carried the torch before us and acknowledge their role in preserving the proud legacy of the Flyers. 'From this moment forward, our group is fully responsible for the direction, development, and future of the club. We take that responsibility seriously. 'It is an honour to lead the UK's oldest and most iconic hockey team. 'Our mission is clear: to restore the pride, energy, and identity of Fife Flyers hockey. Both on and off the ice.' The club say they are close to appointing a new head coach and will also look to keep hold of several core members of the side. The statement added: 'This is a people's club. 'Fife is the beating heart of Scottish hockey, and its supporters are the soul of this organisation. 'Your loyalty, your voice, and your passion will shape everything we do. 'We are here to build something special – a first-class hockey experience that reflects the grit and character of this town. 'Under this leadership, we will lead with transparency, we will compete with pride, and we will always listen. 'To every supporter: this is your team. We're honoured to be at the helm – and we're ready to give it everything we've got.'
