Sheboygan police investigating early Sunday morning shooting at End Park

SHEBOYGAN – Police on Sunday were investigating End Park, 1236 Bell Ave., and the surrounding area after receiving several reports from citizens of shots fired around 2 a.m.
According to a news release, responding officers found numerous spent shell casings in the roadway around the park.
Preliminary investigation revealed a large disturbance had occurred between around 20 people in the park and the immediate area around the park. During that disturbance, at least two people fired guns, police said.
As of Sunday evening, no injuries had been reported and it was believed no one had been struck by gunfire, police said. They suspect the disturbance was between at least two groups of people who knew each other and there was not believed to be any danger to the community.

Some of the suspects involved in the incidents have been identified, police said, adding they are trying to locate and interview other people involved in the disturbance.
No one was in custody in relation to the incident as of Sunday evening.

MANITOWOC – Police are asking for the public's help identifying a dog involved in a biting attack of another dog in the 300 block of Reed Avenue Tuesday evening. The incident happened around 7 p.m. May 6 on the south side of Reed Avenue, police said in a news release. The victim stated the suspect dog, described as a black/brown German Shepherd mix, attacked a smaller dog, causing injury to the dog. Police said the vaccination and license status of the suspect dog is unknown. Fond du Lac police arrest man after SWAT, crisis negotiators respond to Doty Street incident

FOND DU LAC – A 29-year-old Fond du Lac man was taken into custody Sunday after streets were temporarily closed and SWAT and crisis negotiation teams were activated. The incident began around 8:30 a.m. April 20 when police were continuing an investigation into a domestic violence incident that occurred Saturday. While officers were on scene, they learned the suspect was alone inside a residence in the 300 block of Doty Street. Additional officers responded, established a perimeter and tried to contact the man, police said in a news release. Surrounding streets were also temporarily closed. Both agencies also deployed rescue armored vehicles, K-9 teams and Technology Response Groups, which contain drone and robot resources. The teams worked to establish communication with the man, who was located by law enforcement at approximately 1:20 p.m. The man was taken into custody without further incident and was taken to Fond du Lac County Jail. No injuries were reported, police said. The incident is under investigation, police said, and no further details were immediately released Sunday. MANITOWOC – Emphasizing there is no threat to the community, police are seeking the public's help in an investigation after a gun was fired near 1600 Galax Drive Sunday night. According to a Manitowoc Police Department news release, officers and Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the area of 1600 Galax Drive at around 11:45 p.m. April 13 for the report of a woman giving a firearm to a neighbor and stating a man was trying to kill her. Police said initial investigation revealed one gunshot had been fired and a man could be seen on security footage having the gun pointed at him while he ran from the location. As of Monday morning, police said the man had not yet been located. Officers checked the area with use of K-9 Rolo and a drone from the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office, but were unable to locate the man.
