Sayyed Houthi Reiterates Support for Gaza: Yemeni Armed Forces Seeking Aerial Siege on ‘Israel'
Head of Yemen's Ansarullah Movement Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi tackled the latest developments of the Yemeni battle in support of Gaza, reiterating commitment to the path of supporting the oppressed Palestinian people.
In a televised speech, Sayyed Houthi affirmed that the official Arab position has leaned toward adopting humiliating surrender proposals and free concessions, despite the enemy's continued hostility.
'Normalization is the greatest betrayal of this nation and a complete reversal and abandonment of supporting the just and rightful Palestinian cause. The weakness of the will to fight among Arab armies in previous stages is the reason the 'Israeli' enemy has continued its aggression against the entire region.'
Sayyed Houthi noted that Western countries, in their support for the Zionist entity, disregard the very slogans they constantly promote as a deceptive method aimed at their people.
Western countries, in their support for the Zionist entity, do not even take into account their major interests with the Islamic world, especially the Arab countries, he added.
'The failure of the Israeli enemy in five or more rounds in the Gaza Strip is evidence of the effectiveness of the role played by the fighters in Gaza. The fighters of Hezbollah, through their struggle, patience, and sacrifices, are the ones who expelled the Israeli enemy and inflicted major defeats upon it.'
Sayyed Houthi affirmed that the sacrifices in confronting the 'Israeli' enemy yield a very significant result in the true promise of Allah, which never fails or changes.
-'There is absolutely no excuse for any regime or people that abandon the Palestinian model, fail to support it, or do not offer it assistance. The attempt to portray the stance against the enemy as serving Iran is a deceptive 'Israeli'-American narrative and one of the ugliest forms of insulting the intelligence of Arabs.'
According to Sayyed Houthi, the Zionist criminality has extended against the Lebanese people and other Arab countries, and they have shown hostility toward Muslims in general.
'Iran has taken an honorable Islamic stance by adopting the Palestinian cause and supporting the fighters — and this is what every Islamic regime should be doing. The Zionist mouthpieces, in justifying their betrayal and subservience, simply repeat Israeli narratives.'
Those who repeat the 'Israeli' and American claim that the stance against the 'Israeli' enemy is merely a private dispute between Iran and the enemy are traitors and are insulting the Palestinian cause, Sayyed Houthi affirmed.
'In response to the message from the fighters in Al-Quds Brigades, we convey, on behalf of ourselves, our people, and the fellow fighters from the armed forces, abundant greetings, and we ask Allah to grant them and all the fighters in the Gaza Strip support, victory, and steadfastness. The Israeli enemy continues its attacks against Syria, through incursions into its territory and total violation of its airspace.'
'It is a grave mistake for some in Syria to use the term 'Israeli interventions' — what the enemy is committing are acts of aggression, crimes, and assaults. The Israeli entity is a partner in all the American financial and political gains from Arab regimes.'
The Americans take money from the Arabs and generously supply the Israelis with weapons and direct financial aid, he added.
'We say to our entire nation: no matter what you do with the Americans and the Israelis, it will never benefit you.'
With regard to the support operations from Yemen, Sayyed Houthi reported 9 operations were carried out using hypersonic missiles, ballistic missiles, and drones.
'Among the most significant operations this week were those targeting Lod Airport, as part of ongoing efforts to impose an aerial blockade on the Israeli enemy. Our armed forces are working toward achieving an air blockade on the Israeli enemy.'
'Some of this week's operations coincided with Trump's speech. Dozens of airlines continue to suspend their flights to Lod Airport, known as Ben Gurion Airport.'
Sayyed Houthi said that the suspension of flights by dozens of airlines to Lod Airport has had a clear impact on the Israeli enemy on all levels, especially the economic front.
'Israeli navigation and ship movements from the Red Sea through Bab Al-Mandeb, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea are prohibited. Our stance in supporting Gaza has never diminished or retreated — it remains firm at all times.'

Ortagus' departure sparks a flashback to the 90s: Will Lebanon's file be handed to Syria again?
Report by Toni Mrad, English adaptation by Yasmine Jaroudi Uncertainty surrounds the potential departure of Morgan Ortagus from her current role, with no clear successor identified so far. Despite circulating local reports suggesting a farewell visit to Beirut, sources say her team has made no official request for meetings with Lebanese officials. Whether Ortagus remains in office or steps down, her future is being watched closely against the backdrop of rapidly evolving dynamics in Syria, which is increasingly re-engaging with the international community, including Gulf states. In contrast, Lebanon's slow progress in fulfilling reform commitments and rebuilding trust with those same countries has raised concern in Washington. Observers in the U.S. fear a potential repeat of history, recalling a period when Lebanon, failing to assert its weight on the diplomatic stage, was effectively sidelined and handed over to Syrian influence. Those fears are heightened by Lebanon's continued paralysis over the issue of Hezbollah's weapons and unconfirmed reports suggesting that Tom Barrack, the U.S. special envoy for Syria, may hold talks in Lebanon. Will the Lebanese file once again be folded into Syria's—reminiscent of the Syrian tutelage that lasted from 1976 to 2005? During the peak of that era, particularly in the 1990s, Syria exercised complete control over Lebanon's state institutions, from selecting presidents and overseeing security services to silencing political and media opposition and even shaping Lebanon's economic direction. In practice, Syria held ultimate authority over Lebanese affairs. Official Lebanese sources told LBCI they are aware of such speculation but firmly reject the notion of any new form of foreign tutelage. "The era of external guardianship is over," one source said, insisting that the government remains committed to a full path of reforms to preserve Lebanon's sovereignty. However, in Washington and Riyadh, that speech has grown familiar—too familiar. It is no longer seen as a credible safeguard against renewed foreign influence.

Palestinian Resistance Kills or Injures Several Israeli Soldiers in Gaza
The Israeli media reported late Monday a serious security incident in Gaza, clarifying later that an attack on a military vehicle in Jabalia, northern Gaza, left three soldiers dead and injured two others. The Zionist media indicated that shells were fired at the soldiers, adding that a helicopter arrived to evacuate the casualties. Al-Quds Brigades had announced that its fighters confirmed the detonation of a powerful explosive device targeting a Zionist 'Hummer' jeep at a newly established enemy site east of Gaza City at dawn last Thursday. 'We shelled a gathering of enemy soldiers and vehicles with mortar rounds as they were advancing around the Customs Police area southeast of Khan Younis city,' Al-Quds Brigades said. Moreover, Al-Qassam Brigades targeted a D9 military bulldozer with a 'Yassin 105' shell yesterday, Sunday, in the Qizan An-Najjar area, south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. On the other hand, the Zionist enemy continued targeting the civilians' houses in Gaza, targeting the aid distribution positions and committing more crimes against the Gazans. The death toll reached at least 4,201 with 12,652 others wounded, according to medical sources. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 52 slain Palestinians, including a body retrieved from the rubble, and 503 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals, noting that these numbers exclude hospitals in the northern Strip. The aggression was resumed amidst concerns over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Strip given the ongoing siege and ban on the entry of medical and humanitarian aid. 'Israel' has waged a genocidal war on the Strip since October 2023, killing 54,470 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 124,693 others.
