Neymar's humorous response to Cristiano Ronaldo's GOAT claim
Former Barcelona star Neymar Jr. provided an altogether amusing response, after being drawn on Cristiano Ronaldo's claims that he is the greatest player of all-time.
Neymar, for his part, of course spent the finest years of his career lining out against Ronaldo, in La Liga.
Whilst plying his trade for Barcelona, the Brazilian locked horns with CR7 on a whole host of occasions in El Clásico.
It is also worth noting, though, that Neymar spent this time lining out alongside Lionel Messi – the other chief contender when it comes to the modern debate surrounding the 'GOAT'.
Speaking during an appearance on the 'Podpah' podcast this week, the subject of the best to ever do it was, in turn, put to Neymar himself.
Specifically, the 33-year-old was asked about Ronaldo's claim that he is the greatest player in history.
And Neymar's humorous response said it all, the Santos standout having simply pleaded:
'Next question, please!'

Liverpool will receive a transfer fee from Madrid as part of the deal, which will be completed Sunday when the transfer window opens. His deal with Madrid will expire June 30, 2031. "Alexander-Arnold leaves Liverpool FC with the club appreciative and grateful for his contribution to those successes," Liverpool said. Liverpool announced May 5 that Alexander-Arnold planned to leave the club. Alexander-Arnold scored 23 goals over 352 appearances for the Reds. He won eight major trophies during that tenure, including the 2024-25 Premier League crown. Alexander-Arnold is expected to play for Madrid in the Club World Club. Madrid will open the tournament against Al-Hilal at 3 p.m. EDT June 18 in Miami Gardens, Fla.

UFC Nashville headliner Derrick Lewis says he 'damn near had to beg' to get fight booked
Derrick Lewis is confused by inactive state of UFC's heavyweight division. It will have been a 14-month layoff for Lewis (28-12 MMA, 19-10 UFC) when he returns against Tallison Teixeira (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) in the UFC on ESPN 70 headliner on July 12 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Lewis was scheduled to face Jhonata Diniz this past November at UFC Fight Night 246, but withdrew due to a medical issue which he refused to disclose. Advertisement Lewis vs. Teixeira will be the first heavyweight main event of 2025. "It's crazy that nobody's fighting right now," Lewis told MMA Junkie. "Heavyweight, I don't know what's going on. I damn near had to beg to get this fight, so I don't know what's going on. Hopefully we can stay active after this." The former title challenger is taking on another rising contender in Dana White's Contender Series graduate Teixeira, as he looks to string together his first winning streak since 2021. "I know he's Brazilian, and he's a tall guy," Lewis said of Teixeira. "He's a heavyweight, so pretty sure he's got knockout power. I didn't watch any of his fights yet, nothing like that, but my coach told me he's got a lot of first-round knockouts. ... I've been training for like four months now, non-stop really, down to every day, and I never did that before. I'm coming into this fight, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be in great shape. Barcelona initiate talks with veteran La Liga goalkeeper for 2026 move
