Extra charges on some cards after Boys from Oklahoma concert
STILLWATER, Okla. (KFOR) — Dozens of people are posting on social media and wanting answers after they claim they were overcharged at the Boys from Oklahoma concert at Oklahoma State University last weekend.
'I'm hoping we can get it worked out through either the vendors directly or from the …you know …stadium,' said Natalie Clark, a concertgoer.
Thousands of people gathered at the sold out concert, but what was meant to be a weekend of good music and fun, turned into several people finding extra charges in their bank accounts.

'I looked down and I was charged twice for two different amounts…a minute apart. The first one was $74. The next time it was $31.19,' said Clark.
Top Tier Vending, based in Tennessee, worked some of the concessions. The owner believes the large amount of people in attendance may have impacted card transactions.
'Everybody's on their cell phones, all that sound equipment and all the other electronic stuff going on there just wasn't enough Wi-Fi in there to accommodate all our handhelds,' said the owner of Top Tier Vending.
He said their system had some issues when charging a card.

'It wasn't anything malicious or deliberate, but basically the situation was not adequate enough Wi-Fi and these people re-ran these credit cards two or three times,' said the owner.
Now, they're working with their IT department and OSU to reimburse the erroneous charges.
'It's extremely frustrating,' said Clark.
Oklahoma State University sent a statement to News 4:
There were more than 200,000 transactions at the Boys from Oklahoma event this weekend and from that number, OSU Athletics has received two complaints, both of which are being looked into.

The remains of Emily Pike, 14, were found on Feb. 14 in Tonto National Park, 19 miles north of Globe, Arizona. She went missing from a group home in January, according to Fox 10, which reported her death was treated as a homicide. Her body was found dismembered more than 70 miles away from the group home she was reported missing from. He was an old soul who was sensitive and loving. Evan wrote me letters, the last of which he gave me on Mother's Day that was so touching it made me both laugh and cry. He was special. He deserved a long life." A community member who spoke with Fox 10 said she wants answers about Kjolsrud and Clark's deaths. "It's really scary that it's just so close to home and then their family. That's the next thing you think about. It's like, what are they going through? What happened to them? On-duty cop offers woman ride home, then sexually abuses her, CA officials say
A deputy accused of committing a string of sex crimes while on duty has been convicted, California prosecutors say. A jury found Michael Clark, 36, guilty of a slew of charges, including two counts of sexual battery, two counts of stalking, three counts of assault under color of authority and one count of false imprisonment, the Kern County District Attorney's Office said in a June 4 news release. 'A sworn deputy who made a promise to protect the people of Kern County instead abused that trust and used his position of power to exploit multiple victims,' District Attorney Cynthia Zimmer said in the release. Clark's conviction stems from encounters with multiple women when he was 'acting in an official capacity as a deputy' with the Kern County Sheriff's Office, prosecutors said. The sheriff's office did not immediately respond to McClatchy News' request for comment on June 6. In an October 2019 Facebook post announcing Clark's arrest, deputies said he began working with the sheriff's office in April 2017 and had worked there for two and a half years, mostly recently having worked at the Rosamond Substation. Woman 'inappropriately' touched in search Clark was called to an Oildale home on Feb. 14, 2019 and spoke with a woman who gave a fake last name, prosecutors said. She was arrested, according to prosecutors. During a search, Clark is accused of 'inappropriately' touching the woman, grabbing her 'genital area and her breasts,' prosecutors said. Deputy 'continually' propositions woman About a month later, Clark responded to a Rosamond home to 'take an identity theft report,' prosecutors said. While he was inside the home, Clark asked a woman 'sexually charged questions,' prosecutors said. He returned to the home on multiple occasions and also sent her 'sexually explicit text messages,' prosecutors said. Despite her pleading with him to stop, 'he continually propositioned the woman,' prosecutors said. Clark's actions led the woman to block his phone number and to move out of Rosamond, prosecutors said. GPS data from his patrol vehicle showed he 'visited or drove by the woman's residence over 20 times in a two-month period,' prosecutors said. Deputy gropes grocery store worker during ride home In August 2019, Clark responded to a Rosamond grocery store parking lot about a fight, prosecutors said. Afterward, he visited the store and came across a female worker, prosecutors said. Clark later noticed the same woman as she was walking home after her shift and offered her a ride home, prosecutors said. The woman said she agreed to the ride 'because he was a cop,' according to prosecutors. As he drove the short distance to her home, 'Clark asked her if she wanted to exchange social media accounts to 'sext'' and also 'asked her to 'make out,'' prosecutors said. Upon arriving at her home, Clark 'leaned over to the passenger side and began kissing her,' prosecutors said. 'He then began grabbing her breasts and genital area,' prosecutors said. When the woman opened the car door in an attempt to escape, he grabbed her and didn't let her leave, prosecutors said. 'He then exposed his genitals and forced her hand onto it,' prosecutors said. Clark let the woman leave after she gave him her contact information, according to prosecutors. In the days that followed, the woman said Clark 'began messaging her on social media asking if she would meet with him,' deputies said in a Facebook post. She said Clark continued to frequent her work while he was on duty, asking if 'she wanted to hang out and/or go out for drinks,' deputies said. Woman wakes to find deputy beside her Clark is also accused of harassing multiple workers at a gas station near the sheriff's main station over 'the course of several months,' prosecutors said. He is accused of writing 'lewd comments on receipts' and asking the women on dates, prosecutors said. One worker told investigators 'Clark reached across a gate, touched her buttocks, and walked away laughing,' prosecutors said. Another woman, who reported multiple incidents with Clark, said he once 'entered an area off limits to the public,' prosecutors said. The woman said she was napping and woke to find Clark lying beside her 'eye to eye,' and he told her 'he just wanted 'to cuddle,'' prosecutors said. On another occasion, the woman said she was leaving her car in the parking lot when 'Clark pulled in behind her in his patrol vehicle and activated his overhead lights,' prosecutors said. He 'asked her if she 'wanted to make out,'' then gave 'her his department issued Taser,' prosecutors said. 'Clark's behavior will not be tolerated and he must be held accountable for the harm he has inflicted,' Zimmer said. Clark is scheduled to appear in court for sentencing on July 16 and faces up to eight years and four months in prison, as well as be required to register as a sex offender, prosecutors said. On Thursday at Clark's prelim, an ex-girlfriend took the stand with disturbing testimony. DETROIT (FOX 2) - Jessica Bedford was reported missing back in May of 2020. Now investigators says she was murdered. The suspect, Keyvonte Clark was in court Thursday and we want to warn you that the details are disturbing. The backstory Clark, 31, is accused of killing Bedford, a local mother whose last contact with her daughter was on Mother's Day of 2020 when she went missing. Bedford was 34. Prosecutors say Clark shot and killed Bedford at a home in the 12000 block of Cloverlawn Street in Detroit. He allegedly moved her body to another location, and it has not been recovered. Today the court heard testimony from Clark's former girlfriend. Prosecutor: "What do you hear him saying to Dre?" "That he was about to kill Jessica," said Clark's witness testified she thought she was pregnant with Clark's child and she and Jessica had been at Clark's home – when Clark's friend sexually assaulted her. She says she later told Clark over the phone about the sexual assault – evidently Clark blamed Jessica for allowing it to happen."I can hear him yelling, saying 'You let him come in here and rape my baby mama,'" the witness "What did you hear Jessica saying?" "She sounded confused," the witness said. "I believe I heard her say – 'What are you talking about?'"The testimony was graphic – the witness saying she didn't come forward because she was scared of Clark. The judge ordered the witness's voice be altered because there have been threats. Prosecutor: "What do you hear?" "Gunshots," she said. Prosecutor: "What do you hear Keyvonte saying?" "I hear him say that he just killed Jessica over and over," the witness said. "After I heard the gunshots on the phone I heard Dre say 'Die b---h.'"Prosecutor: "Did you ever see Jessica again? "No," she said. The witness testified Clark came and got her, drove her back to his home in Detroit – where a red couch had been removed from the living room. "It was being burned in the backyard," the witness said. Prosecutor: "What was the conversation?" "That Jessica's body was in the basement," she said. Prosecutor: "And did they talk about getting rid of the body?" "Yes," the ex-girlfriend said. The witness testifying Clark's dogs were in the basement – chewing on the body. Jessica Bedford's body was never found and Michigan State Police arrested Clark in April of this year – nearly five years after her mother reported her missing.
