French authorities have reported two fans tragically lost their lives and a police officer is in a coma following chaotic celebrations across the country for Paris-Saint Germain's historic Champions League victory.
A 17 year old lad was fatally stabbed during a PSG street party in the city of Dax, according to the national police service. In Paris, a man was killed when his scooter was struck by a car amidst the PSG festivities, as stated by the interior minister's office.
Investigations are underway into both incidents.
In northwest France, a police officer was inadvertently hit by fireworks and has been placed in an induced coma due to severe eye injuries, the national police service reported.
Despite the majority of the celebrations remaining peaceful, they descended into violence in some areas, resulting in hundreds of arrests.
The Mirror report a total of 426 people were arrested, including 417 in Paris, with 216 people being held in police custody as of Sunday morning.
Tensions arose following Saturday night's game with 13 police officers and 192 others injured.

Between 2,000 and 3,000 people had gathered on the Champs-Élysées alone.
France's Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau gave his view on riots in no uncertain terms. Taking to social media, he stated: "True PSG fans are getting excited about their team's magnificent performance.
"Meanwhile, barbarians have taken to the streets of Paris to commit crimes and provoke law enforcement.

Cesc Fabregas says he believes in ‘long-term' Como project amid links to Inter
The former Arsenal and Spain midfielder guided the team to an impressive 10th-place finish in their first top-flight campaign for 21 years helped by a club-record six-match winning run between April and May. A first season in senior management for the 38-year-old ended with his reputation as a head coach significantly raised, reportedly catching the eye of Inter who are without a manager after Simone Inzaghi departed this week in the aftermath of Saturday's 5-0 Champions League final loss to Paris St Germain. 'I really believe in the Como project,' Fabregas said at the SXSW event taking place in London, as reported by La Gazzetta della Sport. 'I started with this club because I was thinking about a long-term project. I don't want to finish my career at a club where there's a project for one or two years and then everything ends.' Fabregas, who is a minority shareholder of the club, joined Como as a player in 2022 and played out the final year of his career with the club in Serie B. After retiring the following summer, he joined the coaching staff, briefly taking charge of the first team as caretaker after boss Moreno Longo was sacked. Welsh coach Osian Roberts took charge for the remainder of the promotion-winning season while Fabregas completed his UEFA coaching qualifications, with the World Cup and Champions League-winner taking over last summer. ⚫🔵✍️#ForzaInter #WelcomePetar — Inter ⭐⭐ (@Inter_en) June 4, 2025 'I really believe in Como's long-term project,' he said. 'I arrived here as a player and I'm very, very happy because I get to work in the way that I want. We have the same goals and the same ambition. 'The President allows me to work the way I want, the way I see things. Fortunately, we share the same vision and have the same goal, which is to go as far as possible. 'We've become a really good team together, in a small town, in a small club but with big, very big ambitions for the future.' Inter meanwhile have signed Croatia international Petar Sucic from Dinamo Zagreb. The midfielder, who has seven international caps, played last season on loan at Bosnian side Zrinjski Mostar.

Who is Mourad Aliev? Meet Frazer Clarke's Olympic rival fighting for European heavyweight title
Mourad Aliev will take on Labinot Xhoxhaj this weekend at the Universum gym in Hamburg for the EBU European and WBC International Silver heavyweight titles. With the heavyweight division set for a big shake-up this summer, Aliev is one of the promising fighters toiling away to get himself into the conversation for a world title shot. Ahead of his first try at continental honours, here is everything you need to know about Mourad Aliev. Who is Mourad Aliev? Nationality : France Age : 29 Stance : Southpaw Aliev is a recent graduate of the French Olympic boxing programme, turning pro in the heavyweight division shortly after the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. He is under the Universum banner and has fought almost all of his career out of Germany, aside from one fight in Turkey. Record Total fights : 13 Wins : 13 Losses : 0 Knockouts : 10 Aliev had a short but successful amateur career, mixing it with some of the best the super heavyweight division had to offer, including Dainier Pero, Frazer Clarke and Bakhodir Jalolov. He claimed a silver medal at the 2019 European championships and earned a spot at the 2020 Olympic Games for France. After he progressed to the quarterfinals, he was faced with Frazer Clarke, whom he had fought three times, winning only once. It looked as though Aliev was going to even the score with Clarke, until he was disqualified for an alleged headbutt. Aliev gained notoriety for staging a protest - refusing to leave the ring for an hour to demonstrate his disdain for what he believed was an injustice. Once his wounds had healed, he turned over and fought like a man with a point to prove, winning four of his first six fights inside the distance and claiming the WBC Mediterranean belt - his first honours. He added another WBC trinket to his collection in 2023, knocking out Ali Kiyidin in the ninth round to win the WBC International Silver title that he currently holds. The biggest win of his career so far came against Evgenios Lazaridis in 2023, defending his title via unanimous decision in Germany. Lazaridis pushed the WBC Interim champion, Agit Kabayel, all the way three years earlier. Aliev is on a five-fight knockout streak headed into his next fight, after most recently knocking out Davide Brito in Hamburg and is currently ranked in the top ten with the WBC - ahead of the likes of Deontay Wilder, Andy Ruiz Jr and Jared Anderson.

Jack Grealish set to be left OUT of Man City's Club World Cup squad as he nears Etihad exit - with forward targeting England World Cup spot after missing out on latest squad
Jack Grealish is set to be left out of Manchester City 's squad for the Club World Cup as his departure looms. City signed now-29-year-old Grealish for £100million in 2021 and he is believed to earn £300,000 a week but he has slipped down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola. He was left out of the squad entirely for City's final Premier League game against Fulham and has only started one league match since Christmas - seven in total last season. The midfielder was told by Guardiola that he could be playing football at 'another place' next season and it appears increasingly likely that his four-year stint in Manchester is drawing to a close. The current transfer window closes on June 10 ahead of the Club World Cup in the United States this summer, but it seems unlikely Grealish will leave before then. An exit is more likely when it opens again on June 16. But the England star is unlikely to play for City again, with the forward not set to be part of the City team at this summer's tournament. The clubs involved in the tournament are required to register an initial squad of between 26 and 35 players, including three goalkeepers. Grealish will not be part of City's party. Grealish has won three Premier League titles, the Champions League and FA Cup at the Etihad but only scored three goals in all competitions last season. Grealish has missed out on the past three England squads and he looks set to move on from City to rejuvenate his career ahead of next year's World Cup. It has reportedly been recognised that Grealish being in the United States for a tournament that could last a month isn't the best was to resolve his future. Guardiola added of Grealish: 'It's nothing personal with Jack. I'm the person who fought for him to come here and the person who fought for him to stay here this season. 'I'm the one who said I want Jack Grealish. What happens in the future is a job for Txiki [Begiristain, current director of football), Hugo [Viana, incoming director of football] and the agents.' England boss Thomas Tuchel, meanwhile, said of his omission from his first camp in charge in March: 'As a headline, I love Jack. I love everything about him. I love his personality, I love his quality. The guy has courage, he can take the heat, he's not afraid of the Bernabeu whistles when he's on the ball, it does not affect him and if it affects him only in the best way. 'So is he a player that should be available and can have an impact in our squad? Yes, 100 per cent. But lately, he simply has no rhythm and he himself, and I agree 100 per cent with this. 'I'm not judging anyone, not at all, but it's just a characteristic of Jack, he gets better with every minute. The more he plays, the better he gets and then he becomes a proper machine.'
