Diddy Offered Bribe For Cassie Abuse Video That Could 'Ruin His Career,' Security Testifies
A security guard testified that Sean 'Diddy' Combs bribed him to make sure video footage of him physically assaulting Casandra 'Cassie' Fine remained out of the public eye. On Tuesday (June 3), Eddy Garcia took the stand to detail how the disgraced mogul labeled him 'my angel' once the deal was set into place.
According to Rolling Stone, Garcia initially rejected communications from Combs' chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, who wanted to view the footage. He allegedly instructed Khorram to get a subpoena before being contacted on his personal phone, which made him 'nervous.'
Garcia detailed that Combs joined the call and named him a 'good guy' and allegedly explained that if the video was released to the public, it would 'ruin his career.' Garcia then consulted with his supervisor, who allegedly instructed that the security clip could be sold to the Harlem native and his team for $50,000.
Garcia claimed Combs exclaimed, 'Eddy, my angel, I knew you could help. I knew you could do it,' per RS.
Garcia then detailed traveling to an office building with the damning footage on a transportable drive to meet with Korrham and Combs. He claimed his voice was cracking due to his mental state, so Combs asked Korrham to 'go get him that tea I like.' Before his exit, Combs asked if the flash drive had the only copy of the video, and made a FaceTime call to Cassie during the ordeal.
'Let this guy know you want this to go away, too,' Combs allegedly directed the 'Official Girl' singer during the call. Garcia claimed that Cassie appeared calm, per RS, and wanted the incident to 'go away.'
According to Garcia, once Cassie offered her input, he signed a declaration that claimed the footage at hand was the only copy, and signed a non-disclosure agreement on Combs Enterprise letterhead, dated March 7, 2011, two days after the hotel assault. Garcia said he did not receive a copy and would be forced to pay $1 million if the terms were violated. He then received a brown paper bag filled with $100,000.
'I was nervous, I was in a rush to get out of there,' detailed Garcia. According to RS, Garcia claimed to have given $50,000 to his boss while splitting the other $50,000 with the other security officer on duty at the time of the incident.
Earlier in the trial, LAPD officer Israel Florez and a former security guard at the hotel testified to their experience with Combs as it related to the assault of his ex-girlfriend. The footage was released to the public last year by CNN.
'She was scared,' Florez swore under oath of Ventura's presence after being physically attacked. 'She was in the corner, hood on, covered up. I couldn't see her face, she was pretty much in the corner. On the floor was a destroyed flower vase.'
The footage was played for jurors in Combs' ongoing criminal trial, where he faces one count of racketeering conspiracy; two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion; and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The 55-year-old continues to maintain his innocence.

‘I was repulsed': Diddy ex-girlfriend recounts sex marathons with strangers
LOWER MANHATTAN — Days-long, drug-fueled sex sessions with strangers, organized and recorded by her boyfriend, hip hop and fashion mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, is what an anonymous witness claimed on the witness stand on Friday. It was the latest development in the racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution trial against the entertainment impresario. More Crime News It took place in a courtroom on the 15th floor of the federal courthouse on Pearl Street. The witness, who is officially identified only as 'Jane Doe,' or just 'Jane,' insisted on anonymity. She had been Combs's girlfriend from 2021 until 2024. She broke down crying on the stand multiple times during her soft-voiced, low-volume testimony. She described what she called 'hotel nights' — marathon sex sessions with men whom Combs mostly found on the escort website Cowboys4Angels or on pornography sites, she said. Jane testified that the sessions were at least once a week, and usually longer than just one night. 'What was the longest hotel night you remember?' the prosecutor asked in testimony. 'New Year's 2022,' Jane replied. She elaborated that it lasted 'Three-and-a-half days.' 'Did you sleep?' asked the prosecutor. 'Not 'til the end,' Jane said. When asked by the prosecutor how she was able to have such stamina in having sex with other men while Combs watched, commented, stimulated himself, and sometimes filmed, Jane said it was drug-fueled. 'Ecstasy, Molly, cocaine,' she said, '2C, weed,' she continued, referring to a psychedelic drug powder, and cocaine. It was all supplied by Combs, Jane testified, adding, 'I just felt like I had to take them. If I didn't, it would feel too real.' She also testified that on two occasions she did 'hotel nights' without using illicit drugs. On one of these occasions, three different men were involved, as Combs watched, she said. 'I hated it so much,' she testified. 'I was just disgusted, repulsed. So mad at myself,' she said. The testimony is part of prosecutors' strategy to show that 'Jane,' the third former girlfriend of Diddy's to testify about his pattern of having them have sex with unknown men while he watched, is part of a pattern of criminal exploitation. That's was pointed out by Heather Cucolo, a professor at New York Law School who's a specialist in mental health and psychological issues and the law. 'The prosecution has to make sure that the jury understands that they have to listen to this whole picture,' Cucolo said in an interview. She said that in order for the prosecution to prove its case of racketeering, sex trafficking and prostitution, it has to show that 'the abuse, the control, and the coercion, and the drug-fueled marathon were part of this overarching criminal enterprise.' 'Jane' takes the witness stand again on Monday, when she's scheduled to begin to be questioned by the defense. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Miley Cyrus Says Disney Stopped Her From Singing ‘Hannah Montana' Songs, ‘Not Like I Wanted To'
Disney prevented Miley Cyrus from performing songs from Hannah Montana after the show ended in 2011. But she said in a new interview with The Ringer podcast, 'It's not like I wanted to.' She explained: 'Performing 'The Best of Both Worlds' between 'We Can't Stop' and 'Wrecking Ball' wouldn't have really made sense,' she said. The TV series, which propelled Cyrus to stardom as a pop star who hid her true identity from fans so she could live a normal life, ran from 2006 to 2011. During that time, five Hannah Montana soundtrack albums came out, as well as one live record and two remix albums. She also released three solo albums on Disney's Hollywood label* before switching to RCA and releasing Bangerz, home to 'We Can't Stop' and 'Wrecking Ball,' in 2013. Around that time, she sexualized her performances more, twerking with Robin Thicke at the 2013 VMAs. So, apparently, Disney decided she could enjoy the best of only one world. More from Rolling Stone 'Phineas and Ferb' Sticks to What Works in a Welcome Return Miley Cyrus, Lorde, Haim, and All the Songs You Need to Know This Week Miley Cyrus Aims High With Her Latest Artistic Swerve Even though Cyrus didn't want to sing her Disney-era songs, she felt ambivalent about the injunction. 'It was still sad knowing those songs have my voice, my face, and I wasn't allowed to sing them,' she said. As of last year, though, both worlds have opened back up to Cyrus. She was named a Disney Legend in a 2024 ceremony, where she apologized to the Mouse in Chief. 'I definitely wasn't created in a lab, and if I was, there must've been a bug in the system which caused me to malfunction somewhere between the years of 2013 and '16,' she said at the time, according to Deadline. 'Sorry, Mickey.' So now, the singer, who is now 32, told The Ringer, it could be back on for her Hannah Montana persona (if she wanted to go that way): 'After being inducted as a Disney Legend, I was given permission to perform those songs in the future, which is pretty cool,' she said. * The Disney ban must not have applied to the Hollywood albums, though, since 'Party in the U.S.A.,' off Cyrus' The Time of Our Lives EP in 2009, is the song Cyrus has performed live the most times in her life, as recent as 2022.
